I know everyone is slagging off the Surface Pro X, but I’m loving mine. For starters, I’m not doing any photo or video editing on mine – so I’m not missing any x64 programs. Instead I’m using it for what it’s meant to do. And it’s a joy to use. It looks/feels amazing. It’s incredibly fast – especially when using MS Edge ARM64. The few apps I use with 32bit emulation, such as Zoom, Spotify, Slack, etc run like native apps. I don’t know what everyone hates about this, for me, it’s a perfect machine.

Does not run all windows software. It should be called something else to avoid misunderstanding. I bought this to upgrade from a previous surface pro that runs all my programs but this computer cant even connect with my printer. Only buy this if you only want apps from the windows store.

This is the perfect in between companion device. Can’t connect to many printers. However, does the Microsoft Office and Internet apps I use PERFECTLY. It is more nimble than laptop yet more capable with phone. I am not an Apple user and may have missed out on iPad Pro but man does this thing perform the basics well. I desired slightly bigger screen, thinner profile and 4G connectivity. Got the $360 annual Red Pocket on ATT and it is rocking. Probably should have had an iPad years ago but this one does everything I need. It is not built to completely replace full laptop but would be great for a home user who needs office and uses Internet apps on edge. I am going to try to avoid emulated apps and have already run into limitations of printer drivers and a few other minor things experimenting. Use MS Office, Edge, and 4G Internet. Perfect for me. Be aware and choose the Pro 7 if you need a full computer just like your laptop or desktop in tablet form.

I understand this doesn’t do everything everyone wants. I use it for business apps and very easy portability and note taking for business. It doesn’t print to every printer and I don’t use anything outside of office and Edge. But man, it does everything I need done well. Very happy with my purchase!
