Very versatile and sturdy product, not at like similar products that are flimsy and not well made.

Just plug the apple brick in one of the outlets. It isn’t worth plugging the USB C directly in the unit. It will charge but very slow. I’m sure its really meant for phones using USB C and not laptops, even though it explicitly says MacBook. I will dock a point for that I could’ve taken off two stars but its really a minor inconvenience. The gained outlets and usb slots are great. The design is what sets this apart. It really sticks itself to the outlet and doesn’t feel loose. For the price this delivers. I recommend it 3.8/5.

This product has really cleaned up the look of my outlets, the design is so clever. Great space-saver. I especially love that it has a usb c port built in to charge my newer devices, along with the older, more traditional usb a ports. The angled AC outlets on each side are a genius decision and the unit feels quite secure once inserted into your wall. Going to immediately buy another one for a different area of my apartment!

This brand is an unknown name to me and I have my doubts about it.
No documentation was included with the device – no user manual, no warranty card. Are the specs as listed on Amazon accurate? Does this thing have a real warranty? I was not able to find a website for Addtam.

This device appears to be falsely claiming surge protection feature. The device I received does not list any surge protection rating on the nameplate. This would be the only SPD that I’ve seen that didn’t list a transient surge voltage rating. The Amazon listing also states that it monitors for property wired receptalce, but I removed the ground connect by inserting a 3 prong – 2 prong adapter between the wall receptalce and this device and the green light still was on, even without a ground connection. My other brand SPD devices know when Ground is missing by turning off their ‘protected’ light. I think this is falsely advertised device by seller. Plan to return device.

I bought this item because I did not find any other surge protector with a similar rating. Most go up to 900 Joule, this one has 1800. Also its design allowed me to plug in my various power adaptors which usually block one or more other outlets. As you can see on the picture, with a bit of fiddling I managed to get every single one into the protector even though this is one of my tricky power outlets in my apartment being in a corner and not easily accessible except if you use a power strip with a cable. This surge protector managed to fit in the corner and gave me still the option to plug all the bulky adaptors in. Outlets are spaced generously so even bulky adaptors do not block each other (looking at you Apple adaptors).
For the price, this is an excellent surge protector that offers a wide arrange of outlets to deal with. I got mine on a sale for 18.99US$ but I have seen it lower priced on other sales.

Beware!!! It was going good until one night. Saw a big spark out of nowhere. Thought it was it just tripping because we might have overloaded it with a coffee pot, pressure cooker, and rice cooker. Well a week later only went to plug a bottle warmer into it and it popped the breaker in the house. So i flipped the breaker and went to plug this unit alone in nothing else and popped the breaker again. This time huge sparks and damaged the outlet. It was a new outlet about 2 years old. Would not buy again or recommend.

Looks very nice. The angled plugs are nice so that power bricks are not sticking straight out. Unfortunately I bought this to use the USB-C plug to power a HomePod Mini but it did not work. The power brick for the Mini states its 3A and so does this product but when I only had the HomePod Mini plugged in via the USB-C the HomePod was flashing orange meaning it was under powered.
Edit: also does not work for my wireless phone charger. Rating reduced from 4 to 3 and have returned the product.

I really like this wall outlet as it eliminates the need for a bulky power bar with wires sticking up and everywhere. Also, the USB charging ports are very useful and they actually provide a decent charging current. A way to screw the device into the outlet would have been useful like other versions, but this version works great overall.

We had this surge protector for 1 week. It was plugged into the wall with 1 thing plugged into it….our dog fence transmitter. It was a brand new transmitter ($150 + $35 to send it overnight) 1 month old. The surge protector was plugged into it for 1 week and the transmitter is fried and is now beeping. Talking to the dog fence people, the transmitter has a blown fuse and has to be replaced. It was like the transmitter had no surge protector at all. I would like my money back and you should pay for a new transmitter since your product completely failed 1 week after being used

Haven’t even had it two months and it’s already making strange noises when the USB slots are used.
Not safe. Don’t buy.

Very happy with this purchase. It’s super convenient that there’s outlets on all three size and enough space for bigger plugs to fit on top of each other. I like the fact that it also includes one usb-c port. Perfect!
