In manual for Vitamix E310 you mention Accessories: personal cup and adapter, tamper holder and blade scraper which is included in price but you deliver NONE ! The Viamix is enough expensive, therefore you should deliver also the promised accessories. I don’t know who is responsible for the customers scam Vitamix or Amazon?

Love it. Powerful, easy to use. Noisy but you cant really have a quiet powerful motor. Only complain, at that price, seriously, they could have just sold it with the larger container. Kind of bs to charge 150$ more for a larger container. Other than that, it does everything well. I have no interest in electronic programs and timers. Switch on and off, thats it. I can count to 30 myself.

Blender works great as advertised there’s no doubt. My major issue however with this machine is the container. As many have said they scratch easily when blending course products, OK I can live with that. Surely Vitamix chose plastic over glass due to the shear strength of some of the plastic compounds available today (think nalgene bottles that you can run over with a truck)
I was dissappointed to find out one day, a few months into ownership that my 2 year old had bumped it off the counter and the container broke. Right at the bottom where the blades attach. I encountered two big problems here, vitamix does not offer a replacement container alone, you have to buy a package with new lid, blades, and tamper alone, this is $189!! I emailed Vitamix and explained my problem and the courteously sent me a new container, great!
However two months later, I bump the empty machine while reaching for something up high, and it fell a mere 40″ to the floor and again broke the exact same way. I swear a cheap Wal-mart blender could have handled a fall like that… Anyway, I emailed Vitamix again and told them there is a design issue here and sent them a photo. They are most likely aware of this as they now offer a stainless 48oz container for the sweet price of $260.
Vitamix responded to my second complaint telling me they will offer a new plastic container for $129. My problem here is now I have 3 lids, 3 tampers, 3 sets of blades and a junk container I simply can’t rely on or afford to keep replacing. In a house with little kids, things have to be durable. Not too mention all this blender down time is maddening.
I told them this, and that offer simply wasn’t good enough, I suggested accidents happen but the quality surely should be better so how about 50% off a stainless container to keep me a happy customer, to which they simply have not responded.
I now have a $400 paper weight in my kitchen that after just over a year of ownership has been inoperable for a 1/3 of the time I have had it. I use my blender daily so this is infuriating. Unnacceptable in this price range in my opinion.

I am upgrading from a Nutri-Bullet 600 watt unit which I will say I did love for the last 5 years. However now that I wanted to start blending things like carrots, dates, ginger, kale, spinach etc. the nutri bullet was just not doing a good enough job so I decided to upgrade. I did extension research on all the available blenders out there and settled on this one.
I have used it 3 times so far and holy **** does this thing pulverize anything you put into it. When you start this thing on setting 1 and slowly ramp it up to setting 10 it sounds like a jet engine starting up. (THIS UNIT IS NOISY BUT TO ME THAT IS A GOOD THING. YOU KNOW ITS DAMN POWERFUL) If it bothers you throw some earplugs in when using it. That’s what I do. The results are worth it.
I have seen a couple of people mention that it doesn’t lock into the base. That to me is a good thing as it will stop the stress of the motor when starting and stopping or using the pulse feature. It hasn’t caused me any issues at all./
I have seen other people mention that you cant take the blades out. Again to me that is a huge bonus. No removable parts or O-rings which can fail in the future and cause leaking. If you clean it right away you wont have any issues. You can also dump some hot water and soap and blend it for 60 seconds and that will clean anything out of it.
As for the final product. My smoothie experience has just gone from a 5 to a 10. Wow it is just so damn smooth. I love making smoothies now. This is by far the best investment I have ever made and I guarantee you wont be disappointed.
If loud bothers you then don’t by a high powered blender. Simple. By a low powered one and have lumpy smoothies.
If you can overcome that awesome Jet engine blending power then this is the product for you.
I AM BY NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH THIS COMPANY. JUST CHECK OUT SOME OF MY OTHER REVIEWS AND YOU WILL SEE THAT. I AM AN UNBIASED AMAZON VIEWER WHO LIKES TO HELP PEOPLE MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE AND THIS IS THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR YOU.

This blender is incredibly disappointing. I can’t make a smoothie without needing a lot of liquid. It’s also incredibly loud. My boyfriend has a 5200 that’s way older than my E310 and I couldn’t believe how quiet it is. How is my unit newer and louder?! He can also make smoothies, nut cheeses, and nut butters without having to use liquid or as much liquid as me. New products should be improvements on older products. I want to return it and buy an older model.

3.5 stars. Always wanted a Vitamix, but it is hard to pay the price it costs. I was thrilled to find this one at a reasonable price (still high for a blender). I had already worn out the Ninja Professional making smoothies in just a year and figured this was worth the investment. Is it powerful? More powerful than my Ninja, yet I still find pieces that were not completely ground out. Not even half as loud as the Ninja. The cons would have to be that this is a low end Vitamix, and I have to keep my hands on it to brace it down as it is blending. Otherwise it would move all over the place. I have to stop a couple times during blending to stir back in all the parts of the smoothie that have been pushed to the side and will not blend. It is strong, but I expected everything to be ground out smooth and many times they are not. Overall not a bad blender, I just wish I would have gone ahead and spent the extra money to buy the higher end blender.

I’m not even sure where to begin on how bad this appliance is. At the most basic level, I just hope we’re allowed to return this thing after having tried many times to use it. $350 was a lot of money to shell out, and all these amazing reviews made it sound like this thing was magical. Have any of you ever tried another blender? Is there something you enjoy about the blade spinning freely in its self-made air pocket within your unblended ingredients? What’s with the plastic sword thing? Do you like manual effort in your blending projects? I’m baffled at what any upside to this thing is. My last blender was $40. I’d push a button and walk away and a minute or 2 later I’d come back to a container full of blendedness. I didn’t have to sit and control the speed knob like I’m on a motorcycle in Boston rush hour traffic. I didn’t have to jam a plastic sword thing in the top like I’m trying to wake up an uncooperative zoo animal. Anyway… This thing is awful. The entire blend process requires a ton of manual effort as mentioned above. You have to hold the thing or it will scoot itself all over the place. The on/off control is super touchy. Twice I had something on the counter bump into it and flip it on and whoosh ingredients everywhere. The speed control is horrible. 0-4, barely moves. One tiny fraction past 4, you’ve hit ludicrous speed. (I think 8 will take you to plaid but I never had the guts to try). It’s basically $350 for an item you have to turn on and off repeatedly and shake all over the place and curse at. It’s an expensive shake weight. Then there’s the joy of cleaning it. Good luck. Wear a chain mail glove if you’re going to reach in there. For $70 I picked up a competitor’s model that has a tower of spinning death blades that allows me to hit a button, walk away, and return to a container full of blended love. It has little suction cups to the counter top so I don’t even watch it. Well I did the first time just because it had been so long since I saw a blender actually work, I was mesmerized. I’m pretty sure I could liquify a pair of flip flops in this thing. All for $70. That’s $280 cheaper than this thing. Push a button. Walk away. Oh and the death blade tower is removable, so pouring and cleaning is super easy. I suppose you could also use it to defend yourself against a kitchen invader in a pinch. I guess what I’m trying to say is, don’t buy this product. It’s really really bad.

I was on the fence about spending this much on a blender, but I am very happy I did.The main reason for my purchase was because I wanted to make healthy smoothies/meal replacements. I had the nutri ninja bullet and it was great for protein shakes, but could not chop up ice, veggies/fruits that well and I hated holding it down to blend.
I am in college and I live alone so getting the smaller & cheaper blender made sense to me. It does the same blending that all the other models can do, but without the fancy extras such as touch screen and pre-programmed setting. This blender was a great upgrade for me and because of how much it can do I will be taking full advantage of it.
Conclusion: If you are looking for a blender that can make small servings for only yourself or for you and a friend then look no further. While this blender is not cheap, it is the best blender you can get for this price. -Also, I have had my Amazon account for several years and I have only written 1 or 2 reviews. My reason for this review was because I spent hours on hours looking at reviews on different blenders and could not make up my mind. I have had a wonderful experience with this product so far and I hope my review can help make someones decision a little easier for them. HAPPY BLENDING!
