It’s not as powerful as my old Ninja immersion blender and much smaller than that but will do.I hope it lasts as long as my old Ninja immersion blender but maybe not because that is 10 years old and still working.I would say that it took 2 min to chop up and blend the tomatoes,onions and garlic and jalapeno peppers for my salsa but my Ninja immersion blender used to take less than a minute so no,this is not 1000 watts.And the power cord is much thinner than the Ninja.Will see how long this lasts!
UPDATE!
The immersion blender left a quarter of a tomato in my salsa; I might just return it! The accessories are cheap and I doubt they will last long.

The instructions limit use to a 10 second burst of pressing the power on button, to be repeated a maximum of 3 times. The instructions prohibit use with hot liquids. The wisk attachment, and the chopper attachment contains a reduction gearbox with plastic gears. The attachments mount to the handle with plastic parts. The power cord is Thinner then a standard lamp cord, for a 100 w light bulb. I hope it will be durable, but these design features are not typical of a product that’s intended to deliver long term use. Time will tell, just delivered today.
It is now more then 6 months since I wrote this. The blender has had no malfunction and none of the parts have broken. I have routinely operated the device in excess of the limitations listed in the user manual without discernible adverse effect. It offers good value for the price.

This immersion hand blender is amazing.Powerful 1000W, yet smooth and much quieter than my old Braun immersion blender. Love the detachable parts and easy to clean design. This is blending made easy and faster. It’s very easy to assemble and easy to use as well. I love the fact that it came with a beaker,a whisk,a chopper, then the immersion hand blender. I used it in blending my fruits in a huge bowl and it was done in few seconds. It’s very easy to handle and does a great job with my soups and smoothies. I love the turbo feature and also the ability to variable speed control. This makes cooking and prepping easy for me. I’m very pleased with this purchase and I cannot wait to blend up the chunks for silky IP butter chicken.

I originally purchased this for soap making, as my current one really didn’t have enough power and would get hot if working a rather large batch.
I bought this for the power and for the design of the blade. I honestly didn’t need the rest of it, but the price was impeccable, so I ran with it.
Turns out it was a good decision.
I use the stick for soap, but I now use the chopper for my daughters food, instead of my Ninja.
1. It’s WAY quieter
2. The chopper blade sits extremely close to the bottom, so small portions are a breeze!
3. Impressive range of speeds, and turbo button.
4. Grinds meats and nuts with ease
5. WAY easier to clean then my Ninja was.
The only thing some may find as a drawback is the weight of the power body. It is a solid 1.5lbs, without any attachments. This is not an issue for me, as I find the weight is needed to balance the power.
You won’t have to hold it long, at any rate, as this thing makes short work of whatever you put in front of it.

Box was not sealed. The blades on the blender attachment had one blade completely bent over 180 degrees. Was not usable.

I’ve only had this blender for a few weeks but so far I love it! I haven’t used the chopper or the wisk yet. I have made lots of smoothies with it and it’s quick & they are delicious! It’s quite powerful & very easy to clean. I’m trying to take good care of it so its lasts long. I am satisfied with my purchase.

This is an unbelievable hand held blender. It is so powerful that the blender blade hood suctions itself to the bottom of the pan or bowl. On Christmas Eve, I made the creamiest whipped potatoes that I have every made- and I’m a guy. I also used it recently on my mushroom soup. This blender made the mushrooms as smooth as pudding. It’s incredible. Very easy to clean; the bottom detaches from the motor and the motor has a dozen speed settings, and a turbo setting to cut through just about anything. I’ll never use a food processor again!!!

Very disappointing. Arrived without any outer packaging, box was in very poor condition, damaged and one of the plastic containers was broken. The mechanism is of very average quality. It overheats Very Quickly. The blade has literally ruined containers that are not Totally FLAT. Many containers have a slight convex to it, like Ball canning jars. This blade will RUIN the bottom of the jar, cutting through glass and plastic. Who wants that in their food? It can be Very Dangerous to swallow glass bits! Don’t buy this brand!
