Have been solid SSD’s so far. I upgraded my entire family’s spinning drives to these this summer. They have inexpensive 6 year old laptops now flying on Windows 10. Can’t beat the price and you can also use Samsung’s Cloning software for free with any of their drive. This was a big bonus for me!

Just like my Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SSD experience, the Samsung 870 EVO 500GB didn’t let me down. I cloned my old drive to this one and had absolutely no problems and again had crazy good performance as always. Samsung Magician even let me know that there was newer firmware for the drive and took care of it with a reboot. Great drive from a solid company, can’t go wrong.

When the Solid State drives first came out I tried different brands with varying degrees of satisfaction until I settled on Samsung. These Geek Squad units are a great value, and not one failure. Don’t be afraid of these refurbished units. It’s always nice to save some money too!
