Love the Goodthreads shirts. I’ve seen the range of reviews on these shirts and after a handful of wears and cleanings (I dry clean my shirts) – this remains a very nice shirt. Seems to be of good quality, not quite as thick as my other flannel shirts – but thicker than a dress shirt, and is comfortable to wear. My only complaint, is that it’s a bit snugger fit than what I prefer – not a slim cut, but not as full as what I see in other “classic” or regular fit shirts. Sleeve length is pretty close to standard, so I’m happy with the shirt – to the point I went back an order one more, but of different pattern.

First off the shirt is great quality. It’s a bit thicker than a “traditional oxford” think thin flannel. However, I live in the south-eastern USA and have worn this shirt recently is 95+ degree weather with high humidity and it felt fantastic.
I saw a few people saying the shirt wrinkles easy, indeed it does. A good remedy is to wash the shirt on a delicate cycle with cool/warm water. Avoid hot water and high heat drying. I have a delicate cycle on my dryer. If you’re having trouble with the shirt still wrinkling, I’d recommend drying the shirt for around 5-ish minutes on a normal cycle and hang dry the rest of the duration. With a little bit of care, this shirt can turn out crisp and look great.
I own a number of button-down oxfords from Vineyard Vines, Ralph Lauren, and Brooks Brothers. I’d highly recommend this shirt against those competitors. While the patterns are traditionally a bit more “casual” the design, wear and feel of the shirt is as good as any.

I like deals. Found certain sizes and patterns much cheaper than others for the same thing. I think I got one of these $25 shirts for about $8. How can you lose, if you aren’t particular about color/pattern? I am not. Sizing: I’m 5’9″, a wiry 140-45#. I ordered 2 mediums and 1 small just to see how they fit. I actually can wear both medium and small, with the small looking a little more form fitting and hard to get my hands out of buttoned sleeves. Trouble is I have more shirts than I’ll probably ever use in what remains in my 77 year life. OK, I or my heirs will donate them someday. Meanwhile, I’ll enjoy sporting these nice shirts.

After reading other reviews I wasn’t too surprised that my normal XL was a little snug. But I thought the material of the shirt itself was very nice, and still hoped it would be a good casual shirt for the office if I exchanged for a little more room. Unfortunately I think I’m just stuck in-between sizes, since the XXL is way huge, and the arm holes are cut really weird; they reach halfway down my sides. It looks okay, but it feels really weird to wear and it’s very baggy. Just an odd shirt all the way around.

The shirt seems to be nicely made with the cotton being quite thick. The reason I did not give it five stars is because it runs small. I noticed that with Goodthreads shirts, the sizes can be a little inconsistent. Some XL’s fit correctly while others are on the smaller side. This one was on the smaller side so I had to send back.

Frankly, I am a bit disappointed in this shirt. When it arrived, I took it out of the box and immediately rechecked the Amazon order page ! The actual shirt was MUCH darker than the image on Amazon’s site. I had to check the designs on the shirt and the webpage to make sure they matched. I had meant this to be an early Summer / early Fall shirt, but it’s more appropriate as a Winter one. It looks as though the contrast on the Amazon image has been tweaked to make it easier to ‘read’ the pattern, lightening the shirt’s colors.
Also, I deliberately bought a 3X size, expecting it to be a bit roomy. It is not. The sleeve is fine, but the waist is too tight. The tail is about 2 inches too short. I’m a six foot, 280 pound, pear-shaped man; 3X is the right size for me. I kinda wish I’d gotten a 4X now.
The construction of the shirt is just fine. Nice material with a good hand; very comfortable. But it’s a case of ‘almost, not quite’.

The size was perfect. I ordered a XXL. I’m 6’3″, about 280 lbs, 42 inches in the chest. Also, I rarely find a shirt that fits me all the way to my wrists (I wear a 6-6 1/2 sleeve). The fit was perfect!

Would buy again without thinking twice!
