We ordered two sets of Centiar Counter Height Barstools (4 stools in total) at the same time, for the same priced, and both were delivered simultaneously. Two Issues: Issue 1: The back of two of the seats is 1.5 inches taller than the other two. The picture with the blue line on the back will highlight the difference and where I measured the following results: The shorter back is 10.5 inches (exactly where the blue line is), and the longer backs are 12 inches. The 12 inch version is far more comfortable. Issue 2: The rivets to hold feet at the bottom are problematic: a. Some were installed improperly or were broken off, thus the feet will not stay on. b. Some where installed incorrectly and have a metal piece protruding below the foot, which causes it to dig in / scratch the floor. In the close up you can literally see wood scrapings from my hardwood floor.
Update 7 months later. We kept the taller backs, fixed the feet, and overall they’ve held up well to the abuse of two grade school brothers. They are easy to wipe down too.

I bought these because I sat in one at a furniture store and it was the most comfortable chair I sat in as I was searching for barstools. The store did not have them in stock so I ordered online. Great price, easy to assemble, sturdy. All sorts of people sat on them this past weekend and all loved them – good for all body types!

I first saw these chairs in an Ashley home store and from their website they cost a lot more. After removing the packaging and reading the instructions, from start to finish with the tool provided, it took me 8 minutes to assemble each chair. The trick is to not tighten ANY bolt until EVERY both is in. The chairs look exactly as pictured and are very comfortable and easy to clean. They are perfectly stable once you are sitting in them. I would be careful with small children who more around too much though.

We saw these at the Ashley furniture store and really liked them. While searching on the web we saw them for a better price on Amazon and purchased them. They are counter height barstools and are very comfortable, my frind weighs close to 300 pounds and said they are very sturdy when he sits on them. Seating material is good material seems like it will last a long time. I purchasd 4 barstools, we had one issue when assembling them one of the screws were damaged. I could not assemble one of the chairs, I called Ashley and within a week I have a new set of hardware and put the chairs together, overall extremely satisfied with the purchase highly recommend them good value.

LOVEEEE how these look. They’re so comfy, easy to wipe, and really look great overall. However, I’ve only had them for a couple months and the seams are already worn and ripping apart. The backrest looks terrible already 😭 Wondering if I got a bad batch? No easy way to repair it either…

These are unbelievably comfortable. My grandson told me it looked comfy when shopping at a local chain home store. I didn’t think so but sat in it to appease him. He was right, they didn’t have four of them so I went home to look online. I found them less expensive at an online home goods store. Then even less at Amazon. They are so unobtrusive that they don’t take away from my island. Yet everyone that sits in them states “I can’t believe these are comfortable!”. They are a tad short for our counter but we love them.
Discriminating Customer –
The assembly instructions were simple and clear enough. The problem was that one piece (the base comes in two halves, which you bolt together) was not correctly manufactured or was warped, and it took some forcing to get it to mate with the other half. I thought I was going to have to return it, but it gave enough when forced. The stools seem sturdy enough. Since the sides and front are higher than the middle of the seat, you have to lift yourself up a ways to get on or off the stool (you can’t just slide off). But once you are seated, they are very comfortable.
Unfortunately these stools were too short for our 37″ high counter. I was able to buy some generic feet/leg extenders with which I raised the stools by about 1-1/2 inches. There are some slightly taller stools sold online, but I didn’t like the stitching on them. These stools are very attractive.

These chairs are awesome for the price. They look great and are very comfortable. My only suggestion is to cut sheets of stick-on felt pad to place on the bottom of the plastic feet. I would not trust the plastic feet to prevent scratching hardwood floor, vinyl, or tile.
