After looking at lots of reviews for mattresses on Amazon my husband and I finally decided to take a chance on this one. We were both waking up with back and shoulder pain on our old one and this one didn’t have any negative reviews and seemed to help others sleep better. Unfortunately, we have not had the enjoyment others have had with this mattress. It’s not terrible and seems to be made of great quality, especially for the price. However, even the softer side just is still a too hard for us. The first week we got it, we both were unable to fall asleep and stay asleep. We tossed and turned all night and felt like we were sleeping on the ground even though I did notice it helped with my pressure points. We finally threw on our old memory foam mattress topper on this mattress and are able to sleep again. It seems to add just the right amount of softness we need on this hard bed and we don’t wake up with pains yet. It’s disappointing to have to do that on a new bed. I really wanted to love this mattress but unfortunately it didn’t live up to our expectations and we’re worried it’ll be too much of a haste to send it back. It may be a great night sleep for most but not us.

I have spent the last ten years trying to find a mattress that actually is comfortable. I tried the super name brand guaranteed models all the way down to the old school mattress and box spring models. Nothing seemed to work. I am a bit pickier then most tend to be as over the last 5 years I have had the unfortunate pleasure of having 2 triple spinal fusions as well as a double neck fusion so comfort is a difficult task but a priority. I picked this mattress out of all the mattresses amazon carrys simply because its advertised as having a hard side as well as a soft side. I figured one had to work. It arrived shrunk and rolled with the tool to slit the plastic open and watch it slowly grow. It’s recommended to allow to expand 72 hrs however after about 4 hrs I was already at 12 inches. I quit smoking months ago and have a sharp scent , I noticed very very little scent from this one compared to others. Well I first tried the hard side and it’s as advertised it’s firm ..if your a back sleeper it might be the choice for you. For me it was not as I just couldn’t get comfortable with all the hardware in my back. Soooo I flipped it and tried the soft to medium side. I rarely am at a loss for words but after laying down on this side I was speechless. This mattress is an absolute game changer. Unbelievably comfortable for me. I wish I could describe how it feels but support is second to none ..almost like laying on a huge marshmallow. When you lay on your side what ever this foam is it give amazing support to every nook and cranny of your body. Absolutely everything is supported to the max without sinking into the mattress. I don’t know if I have had junk mattresses in the past and this is what a mattress is supposed to feel like? Incredible is an understatement it really is. For everyone that asks what the support is like on the edges ? Well when your spine is bolted together that’s a huge worry as putting on shoes is difficult as is. Sitting on the edge of the bed and putting on shoes is as supportive as it gets. I wish I could give more kudos to this manufacturer then a simple Amazon review , yes it’s that darn comfortable. To anyone struggling to sleep I can’t recommend this mattress enough. It’s simply a game changer in all facets of the sleeping time 10000 stars

Just moved into my new 2 bd apartment in a new city for new job. The first thing that I buy in my gipsy style of living wherever I go is always a comfortable mattress. These days I prefer foam mattress as they can be shipped in a small form factor rather than the large bulky box shape which require a pick up truck or careful tying down on a roof of car. Indeed, this king mattress ships fast and arrived early than I expect. The packaging was sturdy, very solid construction. A bit heavy, must team lift though, especially upstairs.
Thickness as described. You will have to wait 24hr (you can sleep on it) for it to expand to full dimension. I have seen the reviews on this complaining the thickness is 1-2 inches off. Just be patient.
I am also very pleased with the dual layered construction, which in the first place made me buy it. Shopping for mattress online is risky, because you don’t feel the firmness of it. And it is almost impossible to put it back in the box as it were. So having dual layer with different firmness almost guarantee either layer will satisfy your need, as it did in my case. Love it! Actually both sides are ok to me! If I want a more snuggy, comfortable feeling, I go for the softer side. If I accumulated a lot of stress in the lower back, I will want to sleep on the firmer side to relieve the pain. Your choice!
