If you like boho fashion this is the pack for you, has some great items, not much movie stuff tho, popcorn maker and a new screen tv with movie options.

I’ve been a long time simmer and this pack is totally worth the buy! The movie stuff is so adorable. Its fun to make like a little out door movie commercial lot for your sims. You also get all these cute boho chic items and clothing selections. Very worth the buy!

Really don’t understand the connection between the movie theme and the bohemian furniture and clothing styles. The big draw of the pack is the various movies sims can watch and react to, but they’re not that big of a deal, honestly. But I, like a lot of simmers, need every pack released, so I’d still suggest it, I suppose.

I purchased this add on for my Sims and I’m very fond of it. I will say for the price I do not feel as though I got a lot of extras The added features of the popcorn in movies is fun but I feel it is a little overpriced as it doesn’t add anything else to the game And I find I do not use it as much as I would like as I tend to get busy with other aspects on my Sims I would buy this again if it were a cheaper price

I bought this pack because my family and I both enjoy having movie nights as well as eating popcorn, cheese nachos & guacamole. So I figured why starve my sims of a privilege that I enjoy, but this pack seems to suffers from multiple personalities disorder or that the creators could not decide whether to give it a Saudi Arabian theme or a movie style theme. The pack does not have any Saudi Arabian movies yet, it includes Saudi Arabian elements. I guess it was nice to have the Saudi Arabian theme added along with new animations; however, I am not sure how it all fits in with a movie pack. Plus, at times, I couldn’t get my Sims to sit down to watch the movie because they are busy standing up and socializing when they should be sitting and watching the movie. Also, I would have very much appreciated the inclusion of a new movie venue. One thing I do give them credit for is the inclusion of realistic elements such as people walking in front of the screen. Other than the movie elements, I find myself using a lot of the other objects in the pack.
Beyond popcorn and movies, the new hair styles also attracted me to this pack. Unlike the free download, this has some great new hairstyles; at last I can finally create a rasta sim. The downside is that the sim must be a girl. Don’t get me wrong there are some very good hairstyles for the males too but not locks. Hopefully someone will make a hairstyle mod to allow both male and females to have locks. Additionally, this pack seems to have longer loading times. Overall, I think there are some good elements to the game but I think there is so much un-tapped potential.

I am not a Sims stuff pack person; never have been and never thought they were worth it. However, it was on sale for 50% off, and I’ll be honest, the popcorn maker is what made me buy it.
As such, was it worth $5? Sure, if you have some disposable money and want to add popcorn and movies to your sims’ lives. With that said, I’m glad I bought it 1/2 the cost. Like many of the packs under TS4, it was a nice concept but not fully executed and missed the mark. Hope that helps.

I was so excited to get this. Once I got it, I instantly added it to origin and started playing. At first I used the clothes and and the movie screen and everything else that comes with it. After a while of playing though, I find myself not using the add on’s from this game as much. It is a good game and there’s lots of new stuff, but just like all games we get bored and want more.
