Bought this for my son for Xmas, he loved it from building it to just playing with the end product. Additionally, he loves the little “power drill” it comes with (which needs 2 AAA batteries that aren’t included). Each package contains all the pieces needed for assembly & a small plastic screwdriver just in case the drill isn’t used; they even have a couple extra screws in each pack, for exactly this reason, they back out! Not sure if they’re meant to back out (I doubt it) in order to go along the “you gotta build/maintain em” theme, but nonetheless, they fall out & allow pieces to fall off the dinosaurs. If you’re worried about small pieces randomly ending up on the floor, these aren’t for you/your kid(s). Legos thought they had the market cornered on “most painful thing you can step on barefoot”, well try again. You have 1 of those bad boys on a hard floor, threaded side up, & you could easily have a trip the Dr.s.

Birthday gift for my new 4 year old. He could build it just fine and loved building it with his daddy. Loved the drill. The dinosaurs are a lot of fun. I do feel that the plastic screws will fall out.

Had some trouble with the real metal screw on the battery door. Needed to find a way to pull on it while unscrewing it. But once I got it this toy was so fun to put together with my 3 year old. He loved using the toy drill and helping assemble. Highly recommend.

I like the fact that it makes a child think and do something besides a video game. But if a child is under 9 years old they can’t put them together! I bought this for my two grandsons, ages 3 &5 they were unable to put them together.
