This was a gift for a friend’s 4-year old son. He has several Play Doh sets where you can make play doh burgers, spaghetti and other shapes. So I knew that he loves playing with Play Doh. These are very small mini containers. They will not last long if the kids are pretty active with playing with them a lot due to the small size of each color that you get. They will probably dry out a little faster as well. The kids love the variety of colors in this pack. Who doesn’t love fresh Play Doh? It’s a fun little gift to bring with you and it gives the kids something to play with while the adults visit!

Item arrived just as expected. People who are disappointed with the size must not know that a “party pack” consists of small sized containers. This was a really good deal at 10 play-doughs for $2.99. I saw the same pack at Ross for $5.99 just a couple days ago. Each set has doubles of the hot pink but that’s ok as I will be giving these out separately in goody bags. The pack has a black colored play-dough that isn’t visible through the packaging and it would be nice if they included another more lively color instead but it will have to do

Bought as stocking staffers. Beautifully packaged with fun colourful pictures on the box. I love the small containers and the variety of colours. Recommend.

If you have little kids who don’t always remember to put the lid back on the container and find dried out play-doh everywhere this pack is great. My kids loving playing with play-doh and can play with it for really long periods of time but I’m tired of finding the large containers with dried out play-doh. This has made it a little more manageable and I don’t feel as horrible when it’s a much smaller amount that goes to waste. Great price and good variety of colors.

I bought these for my toddler.. She tends to “ruin” Play Doh by forgetting to put it back in the container, which dries it out, or by mixing all the colors turning it into a mottled brown. These smaller containers have helped. I have two gripes, though. The lids are hard to open, even for me. And I miss the “old” formula. This is not the Play Doh from when I was a kid. I noticed that it was changed back in the 90s when I taught preschool. They reformulated it to be “softer”, however, by doing so it is too soft and smears and doesn’t hold it’s shape as well.

It will serve it’s purpose as a stocking stuffers, but be warned, colors included are random and you could get multiples. Neither white nor red were included in ours, but we did get 2 light greens and 2 pinks. The color at the top of the box, which cannot be seen on the photo, appears to be dark purple in person. Each container is very small, as well.

These are perfect for party favor bags, but I also love the suggestion of bringing them along to restaurants or anywhere else you might have to wait! They are tiny enough to fit in pretty much any bag. There is only so much you can do with this little bit of PlayDoh, but they are fine for tiny hands. I do think they are a tad overpriced for the size, and I wish it had another (more fun) color instead of the black.

My 3.5 year old is on the spectrum (high functioning autistic) and has his moment where he wants to touch and grab and climb on everything and everyone because his little body has low body awareness (it’s a thing, I did not know this until I had my little guy and researched and learned of this from his therapies).
Sitting him down to play with play-doh calms him so quick and focuses him and settles him in these big sensory seeking moments. Having many colors for such a great price is such a wonderful alternative. I appreciate its existence! I will continue to buy as needed!

My son typically loves Playdough; he’s three so he’s pretty easy to please. He opened this package in his Christmas stocking, luckily I distracted him enough not to ruin his holiday, but one of the green playdoughs was rock solid, smelled funky, and had white growths all over it. Honestly, WTF playdough?! Poor little dude is 3 and already dealing with drunk Santa??? What gives? So… We probably won’t be ordering much Playdough anymore but one thing is for certain we will NOT be GIFTING Playdough ever again. Disappointed hugely.
