I’ve always lived AVENT bottles and my preemie daughter loves the nipples on this classic version vs the nurser. I purchase another set of these with the anti-colic insert to see if it would help my daughters reflux. She has been diagnosed with sandifer syndrome and takes meds twice daily for her reflux problem. The inserts do help to an extent, but I realized they cannot be sterilized. I put them in an AVENT brand sterilizer with the nipples and added correct water at 7 oz. I did not notice the melting and used them in several of my daughters bottles. Only when I went to feed her and the bottle started leaking, did I notice the insert wasn’t popping into place within the bottle ring. I took it out and realized the insert was melted and warped. I was mortified that my daughter had been drinking melted plastic with her formula! I quickly ran to the sink and looked at her previous bottles that had not been washed and sanitized yet…. Only to find all the rest looked exactly the same. I’m very disappointed and dissatisfied with this. Nowhere in the packaging or in the description did it say the inserts could not be put in a sterilizer. Please be aware! I will not be ordering anymore.

Box came open like if they tape it back again. Bottles are also defective. Do NOT buy.

I really wanted to like these bottles, so much so that I purchased too many under the assumption that we would just use these as our primary bottles. I have experienced some issues listed below.
– Bottle leaks around the rim
– Nipple is too large for smaller baby mouths
– Some of the colic inserts do not fit properly/snugly
Based on those problems, I would not recommend these. My child seems to like the Dr. Browns bottles more. We will eventually be switching to those.

Ordered new however received an opened box with missing bottle inside. Completely disappointed that an infant’s bottles will be allowed to be sold as “new” with an opened box.

These are great when they’re new, have no complains – easy to use, wash, hold, whatever, you name it. One thing I dislike (a lot, since they are expensive) is that after 1-2 months of use, the sleeve doesn’t close well on the bottle anymore and comes undone during feedings, leaking all over us (baby and I). I’ve used these since July 2021 and have already went through 3 -4 sets of bottles, as you cannot but the sleeves separately. Still my favorite bottle but it’s so frustrating having to change them so often and getting soaked on.

My 5 week infant has had a lot of reflux and gas, so we switched from Avent Natural to these. It isn’t completely gone, but definitely better, so we will stick with the anti colic bottles.

These bottles were perfect for our newborn! You have to get the hang of how to close them right, but that’s all anti colic bottles. Our baby responded well to this bottle and nipple.
