A couple of years ago, I had the best sleep ever in a friend’s guest room. It was memory foam so I immediately went home and purchased a $1000 foam mattress. All my aches and pains were alleviated. Even the pinched nerve in my neck that caused pain in my shoulder and arm was a distant memory.
Fast forward a year later, I visited that same friend. Again, their mattress was amazing- better than my expensive one. I found out they spent less than $300 on theirs- it was a 10″ Lucid.
Now I travel for work in a travel trailer. The mattress was horrible. I needed a mattress and decided to go with the 5″ Lucid, which I placed on top of the hard mattress that came with my brand new camper. I have to tell you, it is amazing! I sleep better, have less pain and aches and the pinched nerve- which had flared up with the hard mattress that I was sleeping on- is bothering me less and less with each passing day.
I expected a smell, based on reviews. I smell nothing. The mattress does not sag, or compress under me, like others have experienced. I’m not a small fry- I weigh 200lbs. This mattress is a great buy. If you are on the fence- just know this mattress out performs my expensive memory foam, hands down. I would definitely purchase again.

Feels nice but is definitely not the twin size I ordered. My “twin” mattress is 3″ too short and 3″ too narrow, but does measure at exactly 5″. Not sure what to do with it but it’s dangerous to have gaps around the edge of our bunk bed.

I am from India and was looking for a firm mattress as that’s what I am used to. The mattresses in US are just two soft and clumsy for me especially the spring ones. I was using one for a year and that killed my back. So, I looked for coirfoam or cotton mattress but they were too costly. I saw many people mentioned this one to be very firm.
I tried a lot of other mattresses that claim to be very firm but none seemed ok to me. I am quite satisfied with this one. I am using just this mattress with a sheet of hard board placed underneath for support. It is still not that firm for me but this one will do.

Se siente muy bien. Yo diría que igual que un colchón del tipo regular. Lo compré principalmente porque no es tan espacioso ni pesado y lo puedo mover en un carro compacto porque donde lo uso no estoy seguro si me quedo a vivir ahí.

Es un sobrecolchon muy suave, te da soporte cuando estas acostado pero si te sientas se sume mucho y puede llegar a ser incómodo, de tamaño esta perfecto, el matrimonial es normal, llego muy bien protegido y antes de lo previsto

Love these mattresses! I was looking for two stackable mattresses for the daybed in our nursery. I ordered two of the 5” mattresses and they are perfect. They are firm enough to double as a couch, but forgiving enough that they will be comfortable when we have guests stay over. They were delivered in 2 days and expanded to the full 5 inches in less that 8 hours. I would highly recommend these for anyone with a expandable daybed like this one!

We bought two of these mattresses in Twin size for our Hemnes daybed from IKEA. Since the bed is our guest bed we didn’t want to break the bank but also wanted to make sure our guests would be comfortable. You really can’t beat the price! Comfort wise, these are really comfortable mattresses. Not too soft, not too firm. Typically, we don’t have guests more than a couple times a year. But my husband and I will occasionally nap or spend a night in the guest bed when we need to make sure not to disturb the sleep of the other. I have hereditary back issues so mattress comfort is very important if I want to get a good nights sleep. On these mattresses I don’t have any pain. We also tested out the comfort of the mattresses on our bare concrete floors and when the daybed is fully pulled out, they were still really comfortable. You couldn’t feel the concrete through them and you can’t feel the wood slats of the daybed through them either. We’ve had other memory foam mattresses in the past that were so squishy that when you sat on the edge of the bed it basically collapsed under you or if you put your knee on the bed to reach across the bed, your knee would sink all the way down. These mattresses don’t have that problem at all! They are just firm enough to keep their shape and support your weight. I highly recommend these if your looking for a quality mattress at a bargain price!

Necesitaba más espació por lo que me decidí al principio por un futón, pero al no encontrar uno que me garantizara una buena postura busque colchones delgados y encontré este.
Llevo un mes durmiendo en él y es el mejor colchón que he tenido, tengo 29 años, mido 1.80 y peso 79 Kg, me soporto sin problema alguno, y duermo muy bien, no tengo ninguna clase de dolor en la espalda.
Lo recomiendo ampliamente si tenías la duda de comprarlo y que no fuera para adulto.

excelente, es el segundo que compro para mi bebe, los puse juntos para que quede de una altura considerable y asi cuando vengan visitas, solo bajamos uno y listo, es muy comodo, y por el precio esta excelente, en mi caso los dos me salieron al precio de uno de cualquier otra marca, y juntandolos seria el mismo grosor, solo q en mi caso, me conviene mas q sean los dos separados para visitas.

With all the mixed reviews about smells and size/thickness, I bought this with a lot of doubt and worried I’d really regret it. I don’t know if it’s that mine is the 2020 model, but this mattress is great! (for my kids)
The photo with the tape measurer was just 4-5 hours after opening it. And as soon as I unpacked it, I jammed my face into it and took a huge whiff to see if it smelled bad. I smelled absolutely nothing (thankfully).
I bought two of these as the mattress for Ikea’s Kura lofted beds for my two kids (4 and 7). As you can see, thickness-wise it goes right up to the recommended limit (see the dotted line Ikea cuts into the wood). They fear that a mattress thicker than that will allow the kids roll right over the rail and fall.
At first, I noticed the space between the mattress and the size of the bed, but with sheets and covers it’s fine. In fact, you probably need that wiggle room to make it easier to make the bed. It’s large enough to read to my kids before they go to sleep. It’s also super comfy. I totally disagree with people’s critiques on that front.
I belabored this purchase so much that I promised myself to do a full review with photos to save others the same. Don’t doubt it! Again, maybe it’s the 2020-version issue, so beware of that just in case.

* El colchón llegó en 4 días, aún cuando se mencionaba en el rastreo del paquete que podría tardarse hasta 17 días. En este sentido, mis felicitaciones por la rapidez del envío.
* El colchón viene dentro de una caja de cartón, envuelto en plástico, enrollado y sellado al vacío. Quitar la caja puede ser complicado si no tienes apoyo de otra persona y los plásticos deben quitarse con mucho cuidado con la navaja que viene incluida en la caja. Al momento de desembalar y desenrollar el colchón, éste viene muy delgado. Déjalo reposar unas horas (yo esperé unas 10 horas aproximadamente) y se inflará solo, poco a poco.
* El colchón es comodísimo. Es de firmeza media, por lo que considero que es adecuado para todo tipo de personas. Yo puedo dormir boca arriba y de costado en él sin ningún problema. Esto lo comento porque aún cuando Lucid lo vende recomendando su uso en niños, la verdad es que yo sí he dormido muy bien, con mis 25 años de edad.
* El colchón es de memory foam en su mayoría, así que se hunde cómodamente donde te acuestas/sientas (si no te agrada la sensación de hundimiento, el colchón no es para ti), y cuando te levantas puedes ver como el colchón recupera su forma, por lo que siempre se sentirá como nuevo. Llevo 1 mes con el colchón y sigo teniendo la misma experiencia cómoda (actualizaré la reseña cuando esto ya no sea así).
* El colchón tiene 12.7 centímetros (5 pulagadas) de alto para ser precisos (no 13 centímetros, como dice la descripción del producto) y eso lo convierte en un colchón liviano, facil de mover y cargar. Derivado de su altura y facilidad de movimiento, decidí ponerlo encima de mi antiguo colchón sin ningún problema.
* Alivió mi dolor de espalda pero de manera muy leve, por lo que si sufres de problemas serios o graves de cuello o espalda, este colchón no es tu mejor opción. Mejor opta por un colchón ortopédico.
En general, un buen colchón: económico y cómodo como cualquier otro colchón de memory foam.

If you have spent the last couple days on Amazon trying to figure out what mattress you want to purchase that checks the boxes of quality, cheap, and comfort this is the one. As far as me sleeping on it I couldn’t tell you how good of a sleep I had because I bought it for my 2 year old. But I did lay on it and it is very comfortable. Quality is outstanding. It reached over the 5 inch thickness mark within 5 min of unboxing. No strong odors, no bugs nor stains. I’m an picky online shopper and I read thousands of reviews and view several different products before finally ordering a product. I’m telling you for the price and quality of this mattress you can not beat it!

I want to Know where the “Hypoallergenic Bamboo Charcoal-Breathable Cover“ and Infused with Charcoal Mattress is listed? Not to mention any of the CertiPur Claims that were listed in the description. This label says 100% polyurethane and the cover is 100% cotton. Pretty upset, thinking this company is not producing what it claims to be.
