They’ve recently changed the nipple design and it’s awful. My baby literally starved all day until I FINALLY realized the nipples weren’t allowing him to get anything out of the bottle. Amazon was wonderful and fully refunded me but avent need to do better and change the nipple back. Well be switching to MAM

I bought these for my 7 week old bf baby because the old size 1 nipples seemed to be too fast for him and he was spitting up a lot. I was hoping these would help with that but unfortunately he had such a hard time with them that he was only getting an oz every 30-45 minutes! It took almost 2 hours to get him to finish a 3oz bottle and I had to keep waking him up since he couldn’t stay awake that long. Very disappointed in this product

Came with the wrong stage nipple needed stage 1 (0+) and the bottles came with stage 2 (1month) the box it came in said it comes with stage 1 so I was very disappointed to find the wrong size when I opened the box

My daughter has been using these since October, yet they recently changed the nipple design. She latched for a good 10 minutes but barely extracted any milk. I spoke with a customer service representative who said that you need to go up one flow rate with the new design. I went up two flow rates and she still can’t eat well. I decided to try the nipples myself and I can see why she’s having difficulties. In comparison to the old nipple design, the new nipples feel slightly more rigid and require a stronger suck to extract liquid, despite being two flow rates higher. Given how particular babies can be about bottles (my daughter spent extra time in the NICU purely because she didn’t respond well to other bottles), it’s disappointing Philips would change the design like this.
