Have been a fitbit user for years but was incredibly disappointed when they would not stand behind their warranty on a three week old product so decided to make the switch and am SO HAPPY I did. This is a better quality product – sturdier, more features – at a fourth of the price!! One reason I stuck with fitbit was because of the app – I like to keep track of my workouts and make sure I’m improving over time, and I actually like this app even better than the fitbit app. Overall very happy with the product and have been sharing the brand with my friends and coworkers!

I bought this as a basic, affordable smart watch with a pedometer that would pair with my iPhone 13. The main attractions were price, battery life, and a screen visible in sunlight. The Amazfit brand is new to me, but judging by the quantity of Amazon reviews for their products, they have been around a while.
This product delivers on its promises. So far it appears it will go about 20 days on a charge. You really can see the screen in bright sunlight. In a dimmer room indoors you will probably need the back-lighting.
It stays connected to my iPhone 13 all the time and alerts me if the phone is ringing. It displays emails and text messages (but not images in them). It also has a built-in timer, weather, world clock, and multiple watch faces to choose from.
Great smartwatch for the money!

Do not shower with this watch. It says it’s safe to shower and that it’s waterproof for 5meters. Took a shower with it and my backlight went out.
The app is not developed by Amazon. It’s some other company. Not cool Amazon! Anyway, it’s defaulted to kgs. Had to Google on how to change units.
It’s a good watch to keep track of your steps. It also has a reminder if you sit for to long.
Unfortunately it has gross miscalculations for what is considered under weight, normal and obese. A muscular build user is overweight according to the app. I would suggest adding body type to properly report a healthy weight.

but seems to be lacking on the most important for me. After wearing for almost a week, my steps are way off. I do the same activities, and sometimes more, as I did with the Fitbit but I’ve been short 2000+of 10,000 steps each day.
The watch screen is complicated. The instructions are lacking and the app isn’t very user friendly. I don’t like complicated gadgets. I’m not a very techy person, I just want a fitness watch to help simplify my health journey. I’ve purchased a few in the last 24 months.
I’m thinking if I return this one, I’m probably done.

The fitness watch appears to be of good quality & certainly competitively priced. Has all the required functions that more expensive products have. The algorithms that control the functions seem to do their job with the odd blip that all fitness watches will have. The screen is clear, easy to read & used in conjunction with the phone app all the information you are ;likely to need is readily available. Like most fitness watches the steps counter can be fooled without walking just by swinging your arm in a particular manner if you wish to falsify the number of steps taken that is. Previously purchased a much more expensive fitness watch, but the screen was almost impossible to read in daylight & then to add insult failed just outside guarantee period. Currently cannot fault Amazfit BIP S Lite, so I am happy with my purchase.

Had the amazfit bip watch it it went strong for a few years until the battery would no longer hold a charge, got the Bip S lite to replace it and was happy at first. Same strong battery life, wonky phone app but it works, everything worked well (especially for the price). Then I decided to take the watch do some laps in the pool. Maybe 30 minutes in the water max. First time, the back light would no longer turn on. Figured that wasn’t a deal breaker for the price I paid for it. Second time? The touch screen no longer worked and it was stuck on the workout screen. So it’s pretty much useless now. BTW I’m 2 months in to owning this watch, few weeks past my return window with Amazon. Guess I get to try and call to get a warranty replacement now, good time.

I have an entry iTouch which I really like for ease of use but the sleep monitor was totally inflexible so went with this watch expecting great things. Was able to get it to recognize my bedtime (with the iTouch only way was to remove watch until I went to bed) but this watch only monitors sleep until the first time you wake up. So if you get up to use the restroom or get a drink of water then the sleep monitor retires for the day. Forget monitoring of daytime naps. Instructions on sleep monitor are almost totally non-existent. As it is, you have to go on-line to print out basic user-manual. Not really sure of the accuracy of the step counter as it differs greatly from my iTouch. Given every thing, I’m inclined to trust my iTouch. Another area of concern is the screen is dimly lit –still haven’t figured out if that can be adjusted. In an ideal world, I would return this watch but live in a more rural area so that is a total pain. More likely to give to one of my young nieces for use as pretend adult. But must say the graphic readouts are impressive.

My 7 year old loves the watch. It’s not even on the same planet as the Garmin, but then again, it cost about 12%
My main gripe is that the UI design made some horrendous decisions. It will not work without the app so I have it installed on my phone along with Garmin. It won’t take no for an answer, every single time I open the app it asks to collect and store data on the phone, and every time I have to say no again. There is no way to set time format on the watch. It will use the phone’s format regardless of what you want. My son wants a 12 hour clock, I prefer 24 hour (“military time”). No, forget about it. There is no iPad app. You can install it, but it runs the phone app in half screen size. I put in the correct age for my son, approved the account as a parent (had to make another account), then his account is disabled 30 days later. Took 2 hours iteration over an endless login/logout/stuck in a white screen loop to resolve (don’t open an account on their website, a whole different unrelated account)
If you want a cheap watch for your kid that will show the time and count steps and have a decent battery life, it gets the job done, if you want a watch that can do sports tracking and actually function as a watch, do yourself a favor and invest in a Garmin.

Very pleased with this watch.
Steps very accurate, stopwatch and timer are user friendly. The watch face is perfectly readable even in brightest sunshine and of a decent size so l can read it without searching for my reading glasses!
Batter life is amazing! Easily goes 2 weeks without any worries, best smart watch l have had to date.
Although its quite a large watchface, its very light to wear and the body is low profile so very comfortable.
For the price it is a great buy.

Bought this for my daughter as she wanted a fit bit like me. I wasn’t willing to pay out the money for a fit bit for an 11year old so thought this was a good alternative.
Well I have been more than one pleasantly surprised with the watch. Easy to set up, has better specifications and battery life than a fit bit. I also ordered a few extra straps so my daughter can change the look.
I would rate it 5 stars ⭐️

Having been used this watch for over a week now, i can say for the price of £29 its certainly worth a buy, BUT you do trade few other things see Pros/cons below:
Pro:
– Great sleep tracking
– Great Zepp app for the watch
– Plenty of Watch faces
– Notifications can be scheduled to not disturb you by sliding from the watch face from top and clicking on moon and setting to auto, so it picks up when your sleeping and not to disturb you
– PAI (personal activity indicator) is a great app feature to work with watch
– Always on display works perfectly fine (comparing that with my Apple watch series 4 and samsung watch it does do great job albeit little dim see picture)
– for the price you cant go wrong as it contains basic features for your day to day life (dont expect garmin or other heavy weight features for this price)
Cons:
– Heart rate measuring sensor is so so
– Always on display is very dim when their is no light in the room (works only when their is sufficient light in room for eyes to see)
– display quality over all is very mediocre not vivid colours on display, if you have seen pebble watch it is like that, almost like display from 2000s
– doesnt have GPS
– date format CANT be changed and it’s American format (MMDD) Uk style such as DDMM can’t be changed at all and it’s really annoying and confusing hence minus one star.
Overall its a good watch if you can live with the niggles above and dont want to pay higher price for heavy weight watches, it does have average features for the watch i bought it as i wanted always on display as i was fedup always pressing side button to wake watch in apple watch as well as Bip U Pro (which i returned as some of its features never worked – see my review of that). so for £29 you get what you pay for and its fairly useable watch for daily usage for normal person.

First off, this is not an Amazon product. With its name, Alexa integration, and Amazon recommendation, I had assumed that it was an Amazon product. It is not. Secondly, its heart monitoring feature is terrible. It seems to only accurately record my heartbeat one third of the time. The other two-thirds of the time it fails to record anything, or it records it completely wrong, so that it shows my heart jumping from 130 down to 80 within a minute, saying that I’m relaxed while in the middle of a workout. Total garbage.

Not sure this is that good unless you just want to tell the time. I have an Amazfit GTR 2e which I love and that seems pretty accurate when measuring heart beat and sleep data. The exercise settings on the GTR 2e are almost spot on too when compared with my bicycle computer. My wife wanted a smartwatch to check her heart rate but didn’t need one with so many options so I ordered the Bip S Lite. The first problem is the strap caused her to get a rash on her wrist. She was also disappointed that the sleep data didn’t include R.E.M sleep like mine does. The battery life is also not as good as my GTR 2e.
Now the most worrying fact about the Bip S Lite. According to the watch, the tiles on my kitchen windowsill have a heart beat of 95 bpm and my cereal box has a heart rate of 40 bpm !!! Other random items also register varying heart rates. This certainly makes me doubt the accuracy when the watch is on my wife’s wrist and leads me to believe the results are randomly generated.
In conclusion I wouldn’t recommend the Bip S Lite but would recommend the more expensive GTR 2e.
