Even though it seemed to work fine with my iPhone 11 Pro Max, it still needed several firmware updates on the watch itself, and a few iterations of app updates on the phone as well. By the way, the app isn’t called Amazfit any longer… it’s called Zepp. Anyway, after the 4th(?) FW update, the watch started rebooting several times per day, and I ever up sending it back. Good news is, this has been fixed by now? Overall a great value!

update: after months of use the watch dont accept charge as fast as before. i dont charge these often but i had 4x scenario that i left it charging it for more than 3 hrs and the watch was stucked at 20%. its the same problem with the GTR they both dont charge they finicky now. the zepp app has issue with android 11 so it sucks
after unplugging it at 100% full battery the next minute the battery became 99%. everything was turned off except notification. 15mins later it became 97% with few notif. at night the notifications suddenly didnt work. did everything adjusted settings and all but couldnt fix so i had to unpair and reset it. tried to charge it again to 100% disconnected bluetooth and this morning it drains from 100 to 97% in 8hrs with no bluetooth connection on the phone. 3% gone without doing anything?this is really unusual for the battery to drain that fast.
update: oct 11 suddenly it doesnt recieve any notif again. edited all the settings about the app being on the background but still i ended up unpairing repairing and reformat the watch.

You dropped price 30 dollars 2 days after i recieved mine. Plus ,prime doesnt mean 2 day delivery any more. It means whenever you feel like it. Your customer service isnt what it used to be. On the good side, you finally put out a watch with a band on it that will stand up to outdoor work. It is a great watch

The watch works really good. Would like the item to have more sports available but it works fine. GPS picks up quickly. Sleep monitoring is really good. BPM seems to be a bit out of range but it does the job. Also it has many faces that are quickly downloaded through the app. Battery life is really good. I use the item constantly with the excercise I do and it lasts more than 10 days. Otherwise it lasts between 18 to 20 days.

Looks good, comfortable. Works great during weight training and land aerobics.
Disappointed because I wanted a swim watch (reviews said it is) : almost accurate lap count , so stats are almost accurate. But, guess what? No HR info while swimming, instead calorie burning. Are they serious? How can I monitor my swim workouts without knowing my pulse?? What genius made that decision? I miss my Mio Alpha 2.
Anyway, I like everything else about the watch. Just be warned about this.

absolute garbage. Straight out of the box, downloaded the app, followed the directions, and it would not sync. The firmware would not upgrade, the watch faces would not transfer, the phone contacts wouldn’t sync. Nothing. Got out on the web to try and trouble shoot it and nothing would work. So after 4 hours of fiddling with this piece o poo, I’ve submitted for a return.

Very nice watch for the price. Battery lasts me about 8 days. I use it on max brightness. Needed a watch to track my sleep since I was not recovering from my rides and found out I needed 8 hours of sleep a night. Was only getting about 6 hours till I bought this watch. The app is great but the additional apps for watch faces have proven impossible for me to load with an iPhone. The gps with cycling tracking I would say is 90% accurate against my Wahoo Bolt computer. Would recommend to a friend for sure. My girlfriend thinks is very sharp

I collect watches and bought this more out of curiosity since I’ve never had any kind of smartwatch. It has a G-Shock look and seems to be rugged. I took it snorkeling one day and had no problems with the water proofing. The watch is light and comfortable to wear. The functions all work. I tested the heart rate monitor against a pulse/oximeter and it was very close. The watch faces can be changed but the ones provided by amazfit are not very attractive. There’s an app you can install on your phone that has 1000’s of other watch faces, it’s AmazFaces.
