Initially I carefully followed the directions to treat the pan and the first time uses was with very carefulness to ensure the pan is fully treated. On the second time uses, I attempted to cook a couple of eggs with enough oil and preheated pan but the eggs were stick on the pan.. disappointed. I will continue watching the condition of the pan and update this review accordingly but the initial testing was not satisfied.

Oh yes! I am a Hexclad believer. All claims made about the reliability, results … ALL TRUE !!!!!
This wok with see through lid is a stunner. I feel I could cook for an Army.
You won’t ever regret this choice in cookware. I have gotten the pan set and skillet set for my daughter, my granddaughter, and my grandson and wife. They are like me — I treasure them and hand wash and dry them. They make my life easier. They make my smile.

Great non stick wok! So far it seems very durable but it has gotten a small stain on it that we can’t get off. I am not too concerned about stains because it is cookware. We just clean it by adding water and scraping with a wooden or silicone spatula. So far we have cooked eggs, bacon, fried rice and bolied noodles. It heats up quickly and evenly. It is by far the most expensive wok but with a lifetime guarantee i wish this would have been available years ago. This is my 4th wok as it seems that people visiting have used metal utensils in each of our previous Teflon woks.

I’m trying to be minimalistic and only want to have a few choice cooking utensils. I bought this super large wok with lid, and I use it daily in place of a frying pan or a deep skillet. The non-stick is accurate and can even use metal utensils in it. It cleans effortlessly. I like it so much I’m getting one for a friend’s wedding gift. I’m also thinking about getting the matching pieces ($400!!!!) when I’m ready to spend more money. I highly recommend this wok as my go-to pan daily. The heat distribution is perfect.

This wok is very easy to clean and definitely heats up very fast. Nonstick works most of the time, definitely have to put some oil. So far this has been very good and definitely has been built with quality in mind. You definitely have to make sure you to clean it properly if you don’t want any buildup, especially burned in hot oil.

This pan is just so odd. It’s like a cross between a round wok and a deep frying pan. But it’s not truly either one. It’s not round bottomed and it’s not flat bottom. I don’t know how I feel about that. I am not “great asian chef” material, so I don’t know that I’m qualified to judge.
Good parts: The heat is great ~ I can finally turn my power burner up all the way and the heat travels through the whole pan. You can fit a turkey in it. I measured and the practical volume is 1.25 gallons of wet stuff with about an inch and a qtr left at the top.
It cooked well. I turned out fried wonton and veg pretty easily and nothing stuck – using very little oil but that’s as opposed to my regular wok cooking. I tots believe you can use metal tools – you’d really have to work at it to get the metal through the patterns of raised stainless dots.
It was easy to stay in the spot where the pan was pretty hot – it would recover from additions almost instantly. The handles are useful, but if you flip stuff in the pan using the handle, you won’t be happy. but for me, it’s good not to have the long handle in the way all the time. On a 30″ range, I still had two completely usable burners even with it’s magnificence on the big burner.
The lid is hysterically big. I’ll have to figure out what size steamers to buy, but I could pile up 3-4 of them easy and THEN put on another two. I like the idea of the half steel, half glass lid.
I will try to come back after I’ve had more time to use it.

At medium heat it performed like normal cookware. Second use, I went a little higher with the heat and then went to medium nearer end of cook time. It performed better for our stir fry.
Performs really well as a deep fry for home made onion rings and battered oyster mushrooms. It contained the splatter really well. Moderate heat was fine that time.

I understand that there is cookware that is cheaper- but you get what you pay for. This pan is beautiful. High quality- the weight is balanced. Make sure to season the pan. I have made plenty of things and nothing has really gotten stuck. To include eggs. I absolutely love them. They also come with dust covers. I put them back into the covers to avoid scratching. I took a long time to decide what type of cookware I wanted … I love stainless steel- but I am so pleased with these pans!
