This is a great watch, especially at this price point. I bought this to wear around the house doing yard work and for when we go on bike rides. I wanted something inexpensive, lightweight, digital, with a 24-hour clock, and backlit. This watch fit the bill perfectly.
Pros:
Inexpensive but not “cheap”
Lightweight and comfortable for all day use
Band is large enough for pretty much any wrist
Lots of features for a watch at this price point
Easy to set time
Great backlight
Battery is user-replaceable because the back screws on
Attractive, sporty look and fun colors
Nice, large face, but not what I would consider “bulky” for this type of watch
I forgot my dive computer and used this in a pinch to keep track of bottom time…I’ve had this at 40ft. under water for 22 minutes…still works fine
Cons:
None really. Some reviewers are complaining that the compass is decorative or that it “looks cheap”…IT’S A $15 WATCH!

I bought the black version 40/8284BLK…The background is black you can’t read the numbers in daylight outside or inside even while pushing the light button, at night in pitch darkness while holding the light button it’s kinda readable. I took a picture of it next to my old one to see the difference, I even put a new battery in, it still the same.

My teen just broke his watch that he’s been wearing everyday for 2 years. He loves digital black watches and isn’t a big “brand” person for them. So after reviewing some watches, I was really impressed with the Armitron Red & Black Men’s Sports Watch. The pop of red color is really attractive. It looks just like the online images. I like the various circles and the timer/ alarm on the watch. It feels very comfortable. I did not completely unwrap it, as it’s a Christmas gift. But I’m really excited..

It’s BIG!! But very cool!!
My first reaction when I got my blue watch was, “My goodness, it’s HUGE!” But when I put it on my wrist, it really does look awesome! I like the large digital display. I had gained some weight and my Armitron Sport Women’s 45/7034 Digital Chronograph Resin Strap Watch was getting too tight on my wrist. So I decided I’d get a men’s watch with a longer wristband. Every watch I liked seemed to be super sized but in reading the reviews, I found that large watches are the style now. So I ordered one. My women’s Armitron is like a fourth of the size of this watch! I like both. When my wrist shrinks, I’ll probably wear it again. The watches couldn’t be more different! However, I like this one so well that I may buy another one or two in red and green to match my normally casual dressing style of t-shirts and cargo shorts. It will be interesting to see what my more conventional friends think of my new watch! I guess I’ll be quite “in” with the younger set. After all I’m 66 years old! I noticed in other reviews that some people don’t get a copy of the instructions. While I did receive instructions for all watch functions, there are other websites that do provide the instructions for this model. You just have to look.

Literally, I laughed when I pulled this out of the box. This is seriously the cheapest manufactured watch that I’ve ever held in my hand. it seems to weigh about the same as a pencil. The ONLY reason why I’m not sending it back is because, the same same day as when I received it, my wife came home and told me her work watch broke. She’s an industrial welder and buys cheap watches to wear because they will not last long. She typically buys Dollarstore watches for $10 but I figured, I had a cheap, crappy watch in my hand that I don’t care if it breaks, so, might as well wear it. This laughable watch went on sale during the Prime Days event. I paid around 20 bucks.
Unless you’re looking for an incredibly cheap watch … don’t waste your time and money on this one.

Muy buen reloj, me gustó mucho más tenerlo en físico que verlo en las fotos, se siente bien construido, la luz nocturna es my buena, dejaré una foto. En total he comprado 3 armitron y con ninguno he tenido problemas, muy buen precio y calidad. No le doy 5 estrellas porque cuando me llegó vi unos rayones pequeños en la carátula y estaba ajustado a la hora y fecha actual, lo cual me dice que no era 100% nuevo y probablemente era una devolución, pero no tengo problemas por lo que pagué, pero sí por favor controlen más sus productos. Pero en general funciona bien

Great looking watch. It is very light and keeps great time. I have worn it in the shower and it works just fine. Only one fault I wish most watch companies would consider when building a new watch or update the watch they are selling now, and that is the back lighting. The back lighting is quite dim and needs to be much brighter. That is the only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5.. Honestly don’t hesitate on buying this watch for the price you won’t be disappointed

Had this watch now for some time, and it still works excellent. Not a problem at all. Strap is holding on strong, the numbers are still very readable, no wear on the bezel, colour isn’t fading or rubbing off at all. It is very comfortable as well. I actually wear this watch more so than my more expensive watches. I am hoping to buy another one in blue this year as well. Wait till it goes on sale. You can save almost $40.00, but if you can’t wait go ahead and buy it, you won’t be disappointed at all. As mention above I just wish they make the back lighting brighter

I purchased this to use while on my motorcycle. Time is easy to read, back light works well in the dark. No timer feature which I am used to having but its it the end if the world as I specifically purchased this watch for when I’m on the bike. Biggest watch I have, even bigger than g shock, but its more slim so it doesnt feel clunky. I just wish mine was packaged better upon shipping, as it was loose in the package and out of its box and case, resulting in small scratches on the face. Not really the end of the world as theyre not that noticeable but it still shouldnt have happened and should have been packaged a bit more securely.

I bought this watch along with an Invicta watch. I couldn’t decide with type of watch I wanted and with this watch being as inexpensive as it is just bought both. I was originally going to buy the Casio Men’s AE1000W-1B but Amazon was having selling issues when it came time to checkout with that watch. So I looked and found this one. I’m glad I did.
Now, of course the Invicta is better made and of higher quality but that doesn’t mean this isn’t a good watch. I really like so I’ll keep it for my weekend watch. It’s nice and big, almost as big as the Invicta, which is a diver watch, so it’s pretty big but very light and comfortable. It’s very easy to read and has a light, not as bright as Timex’s “Indiglo” but it’s cooler — it lights up the numbers as opposed to whole face.
It’s probably not as nice or as durable as a Casio G-Shock this is meant to replicate but for under $25 and I bet it tells time just as good. My only real gripe is that the band isn’t very well made. I’m sure if you don’t abuse it it’ll last as long as the watch but one good catch on a door or belt and this band will most likely rip. If you’re giving this to a kid or you’re very active I’d say absolutely buy the watch but just be advised you’ll probably need a new band before you need to change the battery.
Overall it’s a pretty good cheap watch. Not made of the best materials but if you’re looking for a sub $25 watch that has a light, date. alarm and chronograph I can’t see how you be disappointed in this watch.

I like this model and have 3 others. Reliable and cheap, all different colours so I just switch them around, bit of fun for around £100.

Was looking for an inexpensive watch and wow, you can’t be the value for the money here. Had a Timex Ironman previous and this is just as good if not better. And the price… Start the car!
Very large with a durable strap. Think I may order another just to have colour variety. You won’t be disappointed.

So far the watch for the price exceeded my expectations. It’s been a while since I’ve worn a watch, but find it so handy to just glance at the time instead of pulling out my phone and easily being distracted by notifications! It has different modes for 24 hour time, stop watch, a different time zone. It doesn’t do anything for direction as you’d think given the compass markings on the watch. It seems to keep time very well.
There is a section on the watch that cycles through various dots – not sure what purpose that serves yet as I haven’t had time to investigate.
Overall a great watch for the price – I’ll see how it holds up in long-term daily use, but so far so good!
