I thought this was perfect, loved the colors, beautiful Schwinn bike for my daughter, while being tough and sturdy and no white tires to show dirt! One small flaw ended up being a huge problem tho, and it had to be sent back a mere month after we got it! We were lucky the pedal crank broke before our return window closed! My daughter was just riding on the sidewalk when the chain suddenly went loose and was not fixable by my dad who used to work in a bike shop. Fair warning, this seems to be a common thing with these little girls Schwinn bikes from other reviews I have seen. So sad we really loved this little bike!

This bike is such a piece of junk – it’s constantly falling apart while my 5 year old daughter is riding it. The pedals fall off while she’s pedaling. The mud guards drag against the wheels or fall off. The worst was when the brakes came unscrewed without our noticing until my daughter was riding down a hill and tried to use them, and they got lodged in the spokes and she flipped over the handlebars! We have to tighten every single piece before every ride and hope that nothing falls off before the ride is over. On top of that, the wheels are really hard to turn, like there’s something dragging and creating friction somewhere we can’t see. I would’ve thought better for a Schwinn. My daughter loves the bike, and cries so hard every time a part falls off.

I had to return and exchange for a another one because the bike was pretty scratched up fresh out of the box. The new one came in three days later, and it’s been one month and I have zero complaints. My daughter and I go on an hour ride everyday after school. The training wheels are obviously being used so it starts to waste. The bike is beautiful and she loved her Christmas gift!

Overall the bike is great. I was not happy with the purchase as I could tell it has been an open box purchase. The bike did not come with all the necessary items. I was missing the pedals. Smh.
All in all it is a great bike.
Well made in general as it’s Schwinn but I can say it feels much higher quality than other bikes my kid has destroyed. We will see!

When I first saw this bike I immediately fell in love with it. I was looking for a first bike for our daughter who was about to turn 3. I had originally bought a 12” bike because it was for 2-6 year olds. But after struggling to put it together for a couple of hours, We realized it’d be too small for her. With this one I had my reservations because I thought this bike was going to be too big for her but I followed the height guidelines and decided to go for it. It was a perfect fit, she’s 44” inches tall. She was so excited when she got it and said she loved it. She had no issues getting on/off. My husband put it together in just a few minutes. Super easy! I would definitely recommend buying it!

This bike was the perfect choice for my almost-five year old! The size is perfect for her feet to touch the ground on the lowest position, so we should get many years of use out of this bike.
The design is beautiful, and everyone compliments the bike everywhere we go. I like that it’s a bit unique from other little girl bikes. No tacky princesses here! We left the basket off as well, it just seemed excessive.
It was fairly easy to put together, but I had a bit of trouble getting the brake pads just right. A small price to pay for the great functionality of this bike, but if you’re not bike savvy, it might take you some time. I like the fact that it has the option to “peddle back” as a brake. My daughter is still quite small, and won’t be able to use the hand brake for a couple of years.
The only complaint I have about this bike is that there is no kickstand! My daughter does not need training wheels, so there is nothing to hold the bike up while it’s not in use. It seems like the bike will get worn out and damaged faster without the ability to keep it upright when it’s not in use. Not a dealbreaker, but a kickstand option would be nice.
    Overall, I would 10/10 recommend.

I bought this for my granddaughter 4 years old. She loves it. The only thing is it was missing a part. It was the Schwinn crossbar pad that goes on the handle bars by the basket. To much of a hassle for me to return it just for that. Very easy to assemble. Went & got her a helmet that matches the bike. Her very first bike

The actual putting together of the bike is very easy. However, the instructions given in the booklet weren’t so good and it made me waste more time than necessary. I could not for the life of me find where and how I’m supposed to attach the front splash guard on the tires. whether it was behind the handle bar or behind the breaks or in front of the breaks. Pictures on amazon and the box conflicted each other. Google the name of the bike and the brand…you’ll find a Schwinn official youtube video on how to put it together. Ten folds better than the dumb manual they include in the package.

The actual bike seems pretty sturdy. I got a 16 inch for 50% percentile 4 year old. She’s the perfect height for it. I like that she can choose between hand or feet break. She seems to like it a lot–especially the flower design.

Downside: the basket keeps falling off so I will be using real zip ties instead of the white plastic hook type thing they provided. And the poor instruction manual I mentioned above.

Will still recommend this bike to friends and family.
