This Schwinn Elm girl’s bike with 12-inch wheels is designed for children 2 – 4 years old or 28 – 38 inches tall. The Elm is perfect for riding to the park or riding on the sidewalk around the neighborhood
With Schwinn’s SmartStart Technology, this bike is designed just for kids: lighter frame, cranks and pedals are positioned forward, gearing designed for easier starting, narrower pedal positions, and smaller grips and seat
Designed with younger riders in mind, this bike includes a rear coaster brake (reverse the pedals to stop) and a front caliper brake (hand-brake like adult bikes); easing the transition to a hand-brake-only bike when they’re ready
The adjustable saddle, seat post, and slack seat-tube angle make for easy, tool-free adjustments to allow the Schwinn Elm girl’s bike to grow with your child and prepare them for a full-sized bicycle
Kid-Specific Q-Factor technology includes narrower pedal positions that match the width of a child’s hips, allowing for easier peddling and handling

I am quite happy with this bike, my girl has a strider which is the best but I wanted her to learn pedaling too. It looks cute and is easy enough to build – I did it all with a pair of pliers and an Allen key. Having said that there are some factors to consider and they are: 1. It’s a very Very heavy bike for something so small. 2. The wheels are impossible to blow up, I had to take them to the bike shop to use their pressurized air pump 3 the brake is just for show 4. The pedal fell off on the second day – but I just screwed it back on again.
Just little things. I’m glad I bought it

Just got this delivered tonight. We got it together easily in about 20 minutes. It does require some tools from home to make sure all items are tight. Unfortunately one of our purple handle bars was torn in the corner but our 3 year old was too excited to try to explain we might want to return it.

Very sturdy and cute. Perfect for 3 year old Granddaughter and she loves it. Easy to assemble for a 65 year old grandma to put together. There could be a little more space between the training wheels and the ground. As the term ‘training’ would suggest. They almost touch the ground constantly. But still, would buy again.

The brakes needs adjustment out of the Box, crooked front wheel, looks like there is no control when they put in a Box or after bike is made

The bike came super fast and it was easy to assemble. My kid loves it. After having been on a balanced bike it only took a few tries to start pedaling. We’re really happy with the purchase.

Super sturdy. Provides a great ride. And the transition from the trike was seamless. The seat could be a little larger

This bike was a gift for my granddaughter’s birthday so it was 39 days old so I couldn’t return it. Unfortunately it was missing parts, so now what do ?? I tell my 4 year old granddaughter, sorry I spent the money on this bike, and I don’t have the money to buy another one?? She won’t understand that. So I spend 175.00 on another one. Help ??

No BICYCLE seat, hardware or instructions came in package! Frame is also chipped. Extremely disappointed! Have another Schwinn being delivered for another kiddo on Saturday and hoping it doesn’t, too, have these issues.
