Real talk: I don’t have kids, but I love the wipes. I like the packaging (totally leave it on your counter) and you can use them for everything. I wipe my counters, I use it on my face and hands, I have even used them on my dog’s feet. They don’t have a scent, so if you wanted scented wipes, these are not for you, but I am scent-sensitive, so I love these. The ingredients are also A-Plus (no worries about harsh chemicals).

Here is the list of ingredients from the packaging as of April 2021:

Water, Glycerin, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Punica Granatum Juice Extract, Decyl Glucoside, Citric Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Benzoate

I ordered these because they were supposed to be alcohol free and the old ingredients list was much better. It seems they’ve changed the ingredients at least once and don’t list them in the product description now. Apparently the alcohol free claim only applies to ethyl alcohol, since anything containing Glycols, which are alcohols, can still make this claim. I’m returning these, but hopefully having an accurate ingredients list will help others with their decision.

These work really well at cleaning up poop. Messy poops sometimes I use three, mostly because I don’t want poop on my hands. The resealable bag is nice, easy to get wipes out.

The “Honest” wipes are like Brillo pads on my 15 month olds bottom. LITERALLY like Brillo pads. I spent $40 dollars – 4 0 Dollars- on wipes for my son…. We are not rich. We spent that amount of money because wipes have been scarce due to the pandemic.

I called up Amazon and they said that calling the company would not solve the issue regarding a refund because the “Honest” company would just refer me back to Amazon since I purchased it through Amazon, which makes sense. That said, I still went ahead and called The “Honest” company to see if they would make it right somehow. I took a photo of my sons bottom and he had little red bumps on it. So we had to go and purchase a cream because our Pediatrician said it was from harsh diapers or wipes. Well he’s been using the same brand of wipes since he was born, so it obviously was the wipes……. No one answered the 888-862-8818 phone number. No one….. You can’t even leave a message.

Sooo, “Honest” company, I would appreciate a return call or email immediately because Amazon only fulfills the orders. They do not and should not shoulder the burden of these wipes irritating my son’s skin and me having to pay for cream to remedy his rash.

I am battling Stage IV breast cancer and this is the last thing that I should be dealing with… Phone calls to get my money back so that I can replenish my son’s wipes with ones that will not hurt him.

These are the best fresh wipes out there in my opinion. Water wipes are better with their ingredients list lol, but they don’t give a really good, clean wipe. These are nice for actually cleaning the baby’s bottom, the fragrance is light which works for sensitive skin, I wouldn’t mind a little lavender though to freshen them up. Also, I wouldn’t mind seeing the last four ingredients eliminated. And last bit certainly not least I would love to see these fresh wipes go 100% organic!
All that is to say that I order these regularly and love them. Four little faces use these wipes every day!

I love these wipes. The material is durable and I love the little bumps that catch everything but are soft enough to not scratch my sons bum. Love they are unscented and plant based. Only wipes that don’t make my son break out.

These are, without question, the best wipes. Super sturdy so I don’t get “stuff” on my hands when I’m changing my little girl’s diaper. You can just tell they are so much higher quality than other wipes like Water Wipes and Huggies. We actually use these all over the house and for high chair cleanup (so its nice to have an “adult” design so I can leave them out). My wife and I also love that the wipes, themselves, are plant-based; we’re trying to cut down on our plastic and a lot of the other popular wipes are actually made of plastic.

    Also, I can’t believe I’m writing a wipes review. #Dadlife

We have received several boxes as part of the subscribe and save and we usually just cut open the individual packages to place all of the wipes in a wipe warmer. However, after seeing several reviews stating that there is mold on the inside of the plastic closure, I decided to look at some of our wipes. Sure enough, a few of them have mold. Definitely not safe for babies, and I will no longer be purchasing this brand for my little one.

I’ve been having similar issues as other reviewers with the weird yellow crusty looking whatever “residue” is under the flap by the seals. I emailed Honest as it’s happened 5x with their wipes from Amazon and Target. This was their response sent to me via email on 10/7/2021:

What you see on your wipes packaging label is the liquid from our wipes that has changed color because it dried out and oxidized after being exposed to the air.

This may have happened because the wipes package was squeezed during transport.

To confirm, the residue is not bacteria or mold and if you wipe off the residue the rest of the product will be 100% safe to use. While we have no concerns with the quality or safety of this product, it is clearly not up to our customer satisfaction standards. If you purchased the product from our website I’m happy to set you up with a return label to get your money back, if they were purchased through a third party like Amazon or Target we recommend following their return policy if you still do not intend to use the wipes.

In my opinion it’s a horrible quality issue by Honest and leaves customers unsure of their products. It needs fixing. Just thought you’d like to know what they shared with me.

These wipes are great, and let me tell you why:
They are thick! So nothing goes through them.
They are the perfect amount of wet (moist, if that word doesn’t make you cringe haha)
    And they are super durable!!!
It only takes me two wipes to clean up a huge poopy mess!!
    You need this.

These are so thin you could watch tv through them. They smell terrible. Most “scent free” wipes still have a distinct (yet faint) smell, these smell awful. I expected to get something comparable to Amazon Essentials, Huggies, or Pampers. These should not exist. If I hadn’t opened the package to discover all these shortcomings I would be entitled to a refund. Maybe they should spend less money on hype and more money on RnD. F*** Honest Company.
