So far so good. Mat is comfortable and so far does not have any rips yet like so many other yoga mats.

This was a standard yoga mat and the color was perfect. As you can see from the pictures it arrived a bit dirty. I also get a bit of kaleidoscope vision if I look straight at the mat. Overall I am satisfied with the purchase.

This is a perfect standard mat. It’s got good thickness, and good grip. It seems like it’s made to last. If you are keen enough to note something lacking then your into yoga enough to be willing to spend more on a mat. If you sweat, there will be slippage, but I’m not sure anything can totally resolve that problem, I mean water+lateral pressure+plastic surface. Just be mindful. Source: someone who’s been doing yoga for 15+ years.

Love this! I had a yoga mat before this one that sucked. Whenever I put any pressure on the mat if just sank + I could feel the floor. This mat is AWESOME! It’s comfortable, firm, and I can’t feel the hardwood floor below it! I’m really happy with this purchase + definitely recommend to anyone looking! I also love the quantity of it. I roll it and it stays rolled on it’s own and doesn’t tear or anything!

I purchased this to use for indoor exercise as it’s painful to do planks on the floor or the carpet. This mat is very thin and I place it on top of the carpet to make it more comfortable. I hate that it started pilling after using it for about a couple of months. I pretty much need to vacuum almost every 3 to 4 times using it as it leaves some visible specks on the floor. Overall, not happy with the quality for its price. I’m looking around for a replacement now.

(On my brother’s account) Might be an obvious one for some people to use this only for yoga, but I brought it outside to do my full exercises on it and because I wore my sneakers I ripped it in several places on the first day I had it. It’s also very difficult to get dirt out of. I bought another for my boyfriend’s mom so she could join me during quarantine and hers has also ripped. I do love the colors, they both arrived smelling pretty powerfully but aired out by the next day.

This is my second mat from Gaiam; my first has lasted over ten years and has been through many yoga classes. While I love the color of this yoga mat, it arrived damaged; pictured are the weird stains that were present upon unrolling the mat. I’d like to exchange it for the same item, however it appears it is currently out of stock. I’m definitely not happy.

The mat is so grippy I have to use 2 mats in a “t” formation The Gaiam for the stuff that I need grip and then use the other mat for sitting and sliding, so my mats are in the shape of a t(lower case t with no tail)
Really steps up your yoga pratice on the stuff that you need grip.

We bought a bunch of these to make runners for our old dog. His hind legs don’t work very well anymore. They work fine for that. It gives him enough traction to walk through the house. I also had an extra that I intended as a replacement for my old mat. I found this new one too slippery. My hands and feet were sliding all over making it nearly impossible to hold down dog position.

I’m a yoga teacher so I’ve used my share of yoga mats, ranging from the cheapies to the stupidly expensive ones. This mat is excellent for the price! I snagged it because I’m traveling and forgot mine and I’m glad I went this route. Its thickness helps protect your knees and makes Chaturanga gentler on your hands. Other than that it’s a standard yoga mat that’ll get the job done.
Note: It’s gonna be a little slippery when you get it, that’s totally normal for yoga mats at this price range. It’s just the chemicals used in manufacturing making it slippery and they wear off with usage. It might take a while before you can really determine its grip.

Mat is not very sticky and is falling apart after a couple of weeks of use. Although it is somewhat thick, the foam is low density, causing you to sink in too much. My old mat, which my daughter is now using is thin, dense, very sticky and looks almost new after 20 years of use. Guess they do not make anything as they used to.
