I’ve been looking for a reusable silicone bag to marinate chicken in. This is the largest I could find, and figured I’d just use it for soups and sauces to see if I liked the product/concept. But it’s reaaaally small. No way could I fit that many regular-sized lemons and limes in it. Clearly my mistake (I should have looked more carefully at the measurements) and I’m sure I’ll find a use for it, but the picture is truly misleading. Also — and maybe more important to some consumers — the closure doesn’t work well. I filled it with water, sealed it carefully, and turned it over. No leaks! But the very slightest amount of pressure (as could occur in the fridge) and the thing exploded open. Did it again — same problem. Would not recommend. Note: I also ordered a “sandwich size” bag. While it’s true that your standard issue sandwich would fit inside the bag, getting it in and out would be a nightmare: The opening is just too small for the sandwich to slide in/out easily.

I have several different stashers and so far they have worked well. I do think they are a little hard to clean so I do not use them for freezing raw meats. I also gave some of these as a gift because they come in shades of purple. Note: I recently purchased a stand via Amazon to dry water bottles and now hang wet Stashers on it to dry.(Yamakazi or something like that )

I use it to store vegetables.
I like the sturdiness and the easy to close seal.
I think the size does not match the price. I find it quite pricey for a sandwich bag.
    Couple of items to note:
    * The price is for 1 item only, not the bundle
    * For the 1 item, make sure you are getting the right size

Live and learn, hence I write this not so much about Stasher but the limitations of silicone. I love Stashers and have a number of them in different sizes. They’ve held up well for me. The problem I’m quickly learning is these and other silicone containers I own are not for long term storage. Food picks up smells from freezer and refrigerator! I am so bummed about it. Just be aware, that if you throw something in the freezer you better be pulling it back out within a couple weeks. I think I might try throwing the container a freezer baggie before freezing and see if that doesn’t help with the smell absorption, is that an oxymoron? Just want you to be aware of the limitations of silicone products. I will be posting this same comment in the other silicone containers I purchased to be fair.

A bit expensive for sure – in fact I was kicking myself because I bought 4 of them and a week later saw them at Bed Bath and Beyond for a fraction of the cost! The product is amazing but you can get them cheaper (much)

I’ve only had this for a little over two weeks and used it just to hold some ice cubes in my freezer. It’s now cracking at the corners and the bottom. Definitely do not recommend this. The opening is hard to use and the bag is hard to clean.

I’m slowly tried to get away from plastic bags and containers. These are expensive so this was a trial run for me. I started with cheese and pepperoni. It did not make them taste of plastic, nor did their smell impart in the plastic. I will say for longer term, a few weeks, the items were not as fresh. I love that it stand up so it doesn’t fall all over the fridge. I hand wash and air dry. The seal is awesome although I don’t know if I would use for fluids, maybe to freeze in.

I was afraid these might leak so I’ve been careful about keeping upright when using for anything with liquids. So far, I’ve had no trouble and they seem to seal well. They are a bit chunky, but I feel more confident using them for food that I don’t want to get smashed. I’ve put cucumber salad, snack crackers, melon chunks, and other fruits in them with no problem. It helps me to carry healthy lunches and snacks, instead of buying chips and other junk food from vending machines.

Easy to open and airtight. Mu produce seems to last longer eg. Zucchini, radishes, herbs, lemons
Will collect more over time as expensive but well worth it.

I absolutely love these reusable food storage bags. I am trying to do my part to produce less waste, and these little wonders help with that! The tiny containers work great for snacks and salad dressing.

The seal is thick and bulky and even though it seems to be sealed, it does not keep the air out as well as name-brand or store-brand zipper bags (disposable…argh!). I was hoping get away from throw-away environmentally unfriendly plastic zipper bags. These were more expensive than another brand I have since found and that are easily sealed and hold the seal.

I was excited to buy some reusable ziploc bags, and this one is a nice size to hold a double batch of frozen homemade energy bites. However, I noticed that even though I would squeeze the air out of the bag every time I closed it before putting it back in the freezer, it would often “puff” up with air in the freezer. The energy bites started to taste stale by the end of a month, which I’ve never experienced with disposable ziploc bags. For the cost, this is a disappointing result of trying to reduce single-use plastics. Hoping I can find another use for this bag to hold something for a shorter time to see if it can keep things fresh for a few days instead of a month. I would not buy this product again.
