The best bicycle wheel lights around! Easy to install once you get the ty wraps in place! Works great and looks great! We decorated three of four bikes with these light sets for a community Christmas bike parade and everyone asked us “where did you get those cool lights?” The fourth Bike had another set of lights and seemed to go out sporadically!
I suggest testing each light set before installing as I did not do that with the first one and I got a set that didn’t light all the way. But no worries at all because I emailed the seller and he rushed another set to me free of charge and without having to process a return through Amazon! Great customer service communication and follow up! I recommend these to anyone!

They need night-time testing (bright sunny day atm) but they were definately visible and effective mid-afternoon. My only concern is that they may be TOO bright in the dark (we cycle at night in rural places a lot) but I doubt that will be an issue for most people.
Super simple to install, took 10mins or so per wheel because I had my boy help.
The neighbouring kids thought they look ‘cool’ and ‘pretty cool’, and who wants to argue with a pair of 9 year olds? xd
Can’t review durability yet, but if I come across any issues shall update.

Got these as I wanted to have more side-on visibility and these seemed like a great solution. By the time I had installed them, I realised that one of the light strips was longer that the other, where one went around more than the circumference of the wheel and the other barely made it to 3/4 of the length. It was at this point my cat chewed through the wire in two bites (a problem I’m sure most people won’t have), but I kept the single wheel lights that survived. Over the next two weeks, the fragility of the wire showed as where I locked my wheel up was looking increasingly bent. And then to finally top it off, after a wet cycle home without issue, I woke up to my bike lights having turned on (presumably some water had gotten in overnight) and wouldn’t turn off. When i unscrewed the battery pack and reinserted it, it wouldn’t turn on.
Overall, these are a great idea and are bright enough that I would love them if they weren’t so poorly made and fragile that they aren’t fit for purpose.

Great lights! I use these on my commuter with 700cc wheels. They fit perfect and we’re very easy to install. The lights make you much more visible at night especially from the side. I feel more comfortable entering an intersection known that I am being seen from all angles. I received comments from car drivrs in awe one minute after turning them on for the first time. Not only do they look cool but increase being noticed which is critical for urban riding. I experienced an issue with one of the lights not working out of the box. I contacted the seller who promptly rectified the issue. The seller was the best I have worked with on Amazon and am happy to support someone with such standup service. I highly recommend purchasing.
Also just in case you are wondering these work with internal rear hubs. Extra zip ties were provided so the larger hub could easily be accommodated. If you have want even more fun check out the disco lights from active life as well!

So disapointed. bought a set of these to discover they where no longer using cable ties like the install video showed. One of the units was faulty. Waste of money and disapointing.
Edit. The maker got in touch and was so helpful, Sent me a replacement and did a full refund and explained how the new fittings worked. Awesome theyre on mu bike and working perfectly would recommend 5 star.

I ordered these for my daughter’s 7th birthday to go on the bike we bought her for her birthday. I opened them the night before on June 12th and installed the first set of lights on her bike only to realize the second one must have a short in them–went on dimly for a second only and then smelled like burning and the battery canister was hot. I changed out the batteries–no difference. I e-mailed Amazon/vendor right away June 12th–it is now June 20 and still no response. The blue set I ordered for my son is good, but almost out of principle, I want to return all of them. I was going to buy sets for my other two daughters but will probably not because of the risk of buying something that does not work again and such terrible customer service. I am surprised because they claim to be a small family business yet they do not respond to an e-mail insisting the urgency of getting a new one to add to my daughter’s birthday present. Still waiting….

I got the two set and they worked perfectly on my bike with 700c wheels. Since my bike is a Ghost I had to get the white ones of course and they look great!

i loved the lights they look brillaint and make me feel more secure and safe whilst riding through junctions.
they survived two months of dreaful U.K winter rains, but now one of the sets that i purchased has broken.
in about 4 places the wires have snapped causing the lights to fail.
this is very disappointing as i loved these lights.

Starting cycling to and from work to save money which at this time of year in london means at east one of the journeys is in the pitch black so when my standard reflector wheel light broke off I decided to try these out. They email you a video on how to install after the purchase making it very easy to put on and they look great.

These are the bomb. The pic is taken in my house during the day with my lights on – thats how bright these things are. Impossible not to ride at night and great wonderful comments from folks. “Nice Bike”. “Wow”. “Girl, i’m Glad i didnt drop acid today – wow!” – no kidding a dude actually said that LOL. I rarely rate anything 5 stars because it has to be AMAZING – which few things actually are lol. This product is AMAZING!
I bought 4 units and one of them went bad about 30 days in – too late to return it – but ACTIV light reached out to me and offered to replace it!!!! Who does that! Clearly huge 5 stars for customer service.
Another thing i didnt realize until i had also bought another brand unit, is that these take AAA batteries and not AA batteries like every other unit i saw. What that means is the battery pack is WAY smaller than the ones that take AA batteries. I like that.

I found that the instructional video was extremely helpful. If it were just for the paper instructions, I would have been a little confused about how to put on the Activ Lites. The video really guides you step by step and demonstrates perfectly how to put on the lights.
I personally love the lights! When driving home in the dark, I hate having one flashing light on the front of my bike and one on the back. With Activ Lites, I am able to drive safely in the dark, and have wheels that look amazing. I know that if I saw somebody with Activ Lites I would want them. I think that the part of the product that holds the batteries could be a little bit more secure but that is one of the only problems I have with the product. I also think that the on/off switch could be a little more accessible but when you think about it, there really is no safer, more efficient, or more secure place. When I started putting the lights around the spokes I was thinking that there is no way that these won’t slip down the spokes. The truth is, they work amazingly! If you put them on tight enough, they stay right in place and that is awesome to me!
Overall, I think that Activ Lites are an amazing product and I would definitely recommend them to others!
