I had no idea that white outs could perform differently but trust me when I say, DO NOT BUY THIS WHITE OUT. It has SO many problems, it’s ridiculous. The white out tape CONSISTENTLY refuses to actually stick to paper yet somehow also CONSISTENTLY sticks to itself so if you’re whiting out the same spot or part of a spot over again, the damn thing picks up the first layer and nothing gets deposited onto the paper OR it’ll shred up the previous strip of white out and/or the paper. I’ve tried applying more and less pressure and STILL have problems. Sometimes simply writing on it with any medium at any pressure tears it! Or the ink doesn’t dry so it smudges! COMPLETELY defeats the purpose! Almost EVERY time I try to white out anything, I have problems and have to re-do it several times for several minutes. It’s actually such a joke. I’m better off not using the thing at all! Makes my writing so much messier! IMPOSSIBLE to use. DOES NOT FUNCTION. I’m frustrated every time I use this thing, which unfortunately is a lot!

Not really happy with this version of Bic wite-out. The tape broke almost immediately on one right out of the box. The white out tape doesn’t stay down on the paper. Sad these aren’t as good as the Eco version.

I bought this box of correction tape based on price and brand name, trusting Wite-Out and BIC to do the job. My two teenage daughters go through correction tape like water doing homework, and we have used other brands. My advice is not to buy this product. The tape does not work well, and my daughters find that the mechanism for dispensing tape has jammed in two-thirds of the pieces before the the tape is completely used. Whatever savings I realized on price was lost on unused tape.

ZERO STARS–USE THE BRAND “LIQUID PAPER”. SORRY BIC BUT THESE ARE GARBAGE. IF I CAN USE A WHOLE ROLL I AM SURPRISED. I BOUGHT A 10PK AND I THOUGHT I WAS GETTING A GOOD DEAL, BUT I HAVE ALREADY THROWN OUT 4 THAT HAVE GOTTEN TANGLED AND OR BROKE INSIDE THE REWIND MECHANISM MAKING MINE A 6-PK INSTEAD. IF YOU ARE GOING TO PUT OUT A CORRECTION PRODUCT AND LEAST MAKE SURE IT CAN DO THE CORRECTION PART. I THINK FROM AN ENGINEERING PERSPECTIVE YOU ARE PUTTING THE PRODUCT ON “SIDEWAYS” AS OPPOSED TO THOSE COMPETITORS THAN ARE PUT ON WITH VERTICAL PRESSURE, THIS MAY BE THE PROBLEM. EITHER WAY–DO NOT BUY–YOU WILL BE LUCKY IF YOU MAKE IT THROUGH A WHOLE TAPE. 🙁

On first use, it was hard to open and refused to go onto the paper. Then when it did come out, it was spotty. Half the corrector tape would stay on the roll and 1/2 would go in the paper. After that it started getting tangled. I’ve been using a different brand for years. I don’t know why this would be so difficult to produce.
Totally disappointed. I chose this over my typical brand because they were running Amazon click coupon deal. I should have just stuck with the good one. Lesson learned.

Absolute garbage. Constantly jamming and falling appart. They work maybe twice before the tape inside becomes mis-aligned or stops feeding through.
At my workplace they use Staples brand white out tape, I bought thisnone because i figured that brand wouldnt matter much, but BOY was I wrong. The staples brand works like a dream, bic makes me want to slit my wrists.

After so many years you’d think they’d fix the flaws of the product. Still imprecise due to not really seeing what you’re covering and the plastic strip slides off easily.
Though probably still the best on the market.

I have tried two 10-unit boxes of this tape. About half of the units were unusable out of the box. The tape was fouled and would not stick to the page. Others gave up after a few corrections and would tear, crimp, or otherwise become useless. None used all of their tapes before giving up.
I tried applying the tape slowly. I tried to pull some out manually. I tried everything I could think of. To no avail. HOWEVER, when I could get a unit to work, it was a great experience and a very helpful tool. There is just no point in purchasing this product, at whatever price, when it doesn’t work most of the time.

Came out like candy in a bag, except there were only two flavours purple and blue…
uneven colour distribution: 3:1 ratio of purple to blue. Where are my oranges at?

It’s fits well in the (right) hand, but is awkward in the left hand.
I guess the design makes that obvious (silly me). Not well suited for lefties.

I bought a 10-pack and so far, 4 of these have had the tape over-extend due to it sticking on the paper. There is no way to rewrap it?!
