Definitely not as potent as stuff I bought at a regular pharmacy, but according to the label it has a lot of other goodies such as the minerals. I have found some improvement in my skin with respect to minor dryness and a little energy. I gave four stars because I am still trying this vitamin out but since I have not had any adverse reactions I am voting a positive experience to date.

I researched the company and everything checked out perfectly, shipping was super fast! After I received it I took it the following morning while at school, NOW!!!! I am a disabled veteran with chronic pain just about in my whole body due to surgeries, fractures, and steel screws so I take a lot of pain meds and don’t eat much so I was feeling WEAK always!!!
After the 3rd day NO LIE FOLKS! I began to sleep better, feel better, less tired, less painful AND PLEASE I AM NOT SAYING that these vitamins are a replacement for your medications, so please check with your Dr first BUT I can definitely tell you and testify that this is the best vitamins I have ever tried and taken!!!
The results are amazing, NOW I am a 5″11 & 180lbs men and I believe that many vitamins or supplements will have a different effect on different people according to weight and size as well. I AINT no expert but I know this is WORTH WHILE and worth every penny!!!
I will be buying 3 more bottles at the end of the month, and I will recommend these vitamins to everyone I come in contact with!! God bless y’all

Love love this new vitamin. I’m going through the change in my 40s now. It’s been rough to say the least. I really try to look for great quality vitamins and organic food. This has been a great boost for as I was losing a lot of energy and hair. I will stay on this Vitamin and not purchase inexpensive ones from drug stores any longer. Our bodies need the best.

I love how this pill is packed with everything I need as a supplement to my diet. If you take on an empty stomach, you tend to feel a bit queazy, but other than that they are fantastic!

I’ve been taking New Chapter for years. I buy them either on Amazon or health store. I used work for an herb shop/wellness center and they were big on New Chapter. 1. they derive their vitamins, by fermenting actual food and herbs, and this creates the probiotic in the supplements. Back in 2012 or around then, New Chapter was sold to Proctor and Gamble. A lot of concern was that the content and quality would suffer. I am not sure if this is true, but I do know many of their supplements were discontinued. Anyway, I continue to take their vitamins and have not noticed any changes.

I’ve been purchasing this brand and variety (the 40-plus) for awhile now, initially because the vitamins are fermented, and I know that fermented foods are healthy. But hand-to-God, the most thrilling benefit of this vitamin is that is helps my depression. I’m not kidding. I’ve had episodes of depression where I took this vitamin and an hour later felt it lift. And I’m talking about clinical depression, not a blue mood.
There’s so much research now about the benefits of vitamins for depression. This was such great news to me as I cannot tolerate a single antipressant on the market as a chemo drug I was taking made me sensitive to everything. If you’d like more info about the subject, do a search on the “MTHFR and depression” connection, which will inform you all about the importance of supplementing with folate (not folic acid). The best articles I’ve found are on the Red Mountain web site, written by Dr. Rob Rostenberg. (I think I’m remembering his name right.)
I can’t vouch for other vitamins in the New Chapter line (in terms of their effects on depression), but this one? It’s like my miracle pill. I even consulted with a doctor at the Red Mountain site, and she said it was safe to take this vitamin twice a day if I needed it. She also prescirbed a few more supplements for when the depression gets really bad (and it helps), but most often all I need is this one. I can’t thank this company enough. And no, it’s not placebo because I noticed the effects long before I became educated about any of this stuff. I hope it works as well for any other depression patients out there.
Note: The term “MTHFR” refers to a genetic defect. If you have it, as I do, you are 500 times more likely to experience depression. But do your research about which form of folate to take. I take methylfolate, the Blue Bonnet brand. But the New Chapter 40+ (regardless of your age) has been the most important for me.

I had Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass surgery over ten years ago. Following this surgery it is very important to eat a healthy diet as well as maintain a balanced system using quality vitamin/minerals supplements. Since switching over to this product my regular blood work shows a marked improvement in my test results. I have tests on a regular basis, usually every 6 months according to post surgery recommendations however my doctor has changed the regime to once a year. Thank you New Chapter for an excellent product!

I have been taking New Chapter daily multi-vitamins since they were recommended to me 2 years ago in an herbal store . At the time, I was looking for something that might make going through menopause easier, and I wasn’t interested in hormone therapy/replacements. I had been experiencing all the typical menopausal symptoms: mood swings, hot flashes, weight gain, and even vertigo (although I can’t say for certain that it was a symptom of menopause). All that being said, these vitamins are the real deal! Not to be dramatic…but they changed my life! As soon as I started taking them, all my symptoms lessened and over time have disappeared…even the vertigo! These vitamins have contributed to my enhanced energy level, mood, motivation, clear skin, fuller hair, and all-around great health. I have even lost 20 pounds and have been able to keep it off! They are plant-based and can be taken with or without food – unlike some other supplements out there. I have never had an upset stomach or side-effects of any kind from these vitamins. They truly are amazing, and I fully intend to keep taking them as long they’re available! Thank you Amazon!! .

Consumerlab just did a test on this vitamin and it completely failed. Vitamins must dissolve within 30 minutes per guidelines but this one took 3 hours. I’m returning my purchase and will avoid New Chapter going forward

Don’t buy this. The product description is wrong and they send you the cheaper version of the vitamin that does not contain the probiotics.

I used to take this supplement in the past. Now we are switching to a different brand. We really don’t trust Monsanto … i’m sorry but so much unethical / immoral stuff they have done (I understand that science and technology advance and definitely help us in so many ways… I have no problems with this. It is what you do with data and your policies that I have a problem with). Better safe than sorry so switching over because of the lack of trust and probably would not want to support Monsanto … I like having Saw Palmetto which this product contains. I switched over to Whole Foods Multivitamins (40+ or was it 50+ men version which also contain Saw Palmetto).
