If it’s too good to be true it probable is. Several pixel spots on the screen, so I am returning it tomorrow (and I HATE returning things).

I love these monitors, I bought three actually…One for a gaming setup and two for my work from home office. They are very lightweight and mount on the standard VESA type stands (I got a two arm stand).

Would highly recommend to anyone upgrading their home office, they also have integrated audio which is nice for watching vids/podcasts while working, on break time of course 😉

*Update 3/19/19 – I finally reached someone in tech support about the audio not working. After my interaction with him, I removed a star from my initial rating. He would not give his name, and since I don’t own a Playstation or other gaming device he refused to help me as he stated that I need to own one of those devices to test the monitor on since he believes it is a PC issue. I assured him that my audio is perfectly fine from my PC to my other monitor and he still would not budge. I also assured him that I have, despite using an HDMI cable (which he also said may be faulty) added a green audio cable to check that and still did not receive sound. He blew that off without acknowledging it whatsoever. I told him I first tried using a VGA cable along with the green audio cable, same way my previous monitor was set up, and later he said that without testing with a VGA cable the audio cable didn’t matter. I repeated that I’d done that and he acted like I was making it up. Horrible, horrible customer service!!! Now I will need to find a different brand to buy and return this one to Amazon… thank goodness for Prime! Original review below.

I purposely bought a monitor with built in speakers as I can’t stand having external speakers cluttering my tiny desk. It took a few tries to get the video on the monitor functioning and set to normal standards, but it’s great now. However, I cannot get the audio to work.

I have it hooked up to my PC with a brand new HDMI cable I purchased for it. My understanding is that the audio should go through this also. But I tried using my old audio cable (with the green ends) as well and still nothing. I even tried using my old VGA cable along with the green audio cable and nothing. I’ve gone into the computer sound settings and the HDMI option states “not plugged in”. If I can’t get the audio working, I’m going to have to return this and will be purchasing a different monitor. I don’t sit and watch videos on my computer but do sometimes need to have sound for various reasons.

Edit: As of 2022 it appears these monitors have doubled in price. I wrote those review having purchased them for $80 a piece, now they’re approaching $200. Don’t buy them for that price. Not worth it. Approaching $200 there’s better monitors. I don’t know why the price jumped so much, but spend your money elsewhere if $200 is your budget.

Sometimes you need five monitors. Why? I don’t know man, but I have them. Due to the sheer amount of them I possess, you’d assume they’re good. They are good. I was hard pressed to find other monitors with the specific features this one has at such a cheap price point of $80 at the time of purchase. They have very clear picture quality, and a smooth refresh rate if you’ve only ever used 60hz monitors. Maybe it’s placebo, but I felt like the 15hz made a noticable difference. The color calibration is washed out and saturated out of the box, but with some fine tuning it actually looks pretty good. I don’t really think you’ll find much better at this price point. I got five of them and none of them had dead pixels or any issues, so you can rest assured that you probably won’t have a hassle with these. If you do, then dang man I dunno. Would I buy this again? Well, I did. A lot. So yes, but not anymore. I don’t need more. For now.

Side note, always order it without an HDMI cable. I did, and I was pleasantly surprised each time, interpret that how you wish.

When the monitor first arrived, colors were very washed out. After calibrating the monitor, color looks great. Bezels are not as thin as advertised by the pictures (Hate when manufacturers do that.) Use google to search for calibrating your monitor. It will walk you through calibrating the monitor if you are using Windows 10. Also make sure to go into windows display settings to set the monitor to 75hz. The monitor is smooth in gaming and I really can notice a bit of difference with 75hz. At $87 I would say that it’s worth it after calibration.
