I couldn’t imagine how soft & lovely this beautiful robe would be! It’s PERFECT! I’m 5’5″ tall & weight 170 lbs. I normally wear a large – XL, & bought the L/XL which fits me perfect, literally head to toe. The full length is REALLY FULL LENGTH, & comes to the top of my heel. It’s so warm & soft, & luxurious that it feels like I’m wrapped in a thick soft blanket. I absolutely LOVE this robe. It’s the finest quality, nice & thick fleece robe I’ve ever seen. It’s my exact real size, & there’s plenty of wrap-around that overlaps without any gapping…not skimpy & covers completely with robe to spare when you sit down. Just lovely. I wish I had tried a robe with a hood before, as it kept me extra warm & cozy on the last three nights here in Northern California at 20 – 40 degrees during the last freezing storm. You won’t be disappointed with this gorgeous robe. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

I bought one of these robes in purple about 5 years ago and loved it so much that I thought I would purchase it again. Wow! Quality has definitely taken a nosedive. The material is much thinner, not plush as all, and out of the bag was shedding so fiercely, I could not wait to stuff it back in the bag and vacuum the mess it had made. Seriously, a big disappointment!

If you get out of the water and put this on, you will get covered with fibers. More than I have ever experienced with anything else. I was hoping washing the item would fix the problem. No luck. It still sheds fibers like crazy.

I wear my robe from the minute I arrive home from work until I go to bed, then on again in the morning before I’m out the door. I did tons of research and this robe is a winner.
Fit: Yes, the reviews are true. These robes are large. I’m 5’9″, 150lbs (usually wear a M in tops, 10 in pants) and the Small/Medium robe fit me.
Length: Long! It hits me about 5″ above my ankles; and I’m tall. It’s the longest robe I’ve ever owned.
Arms: I have LONG arms, far longer than I am tall. Long sleeve shirts always hit too far above my wrists. The sleeves on the robe are perfect!
Wrapping material: This robe could easily wrap around a more busty, curvaceous woman. There is plenty of material to spare but not too much that it is bulky and in the way.
Feel: SO soft! I’ve washed it (didn’t bleed) and it still retains its softness. My husband says that my robe is as soft as our cats fur. It’s delightful.

So Wow… just Wow! It is much better than I’d hoped it would be… especially after reading some of the reviews. It is very roomy… I’m a size 16 on top and 20 on the bottom and I’m fully wrapped up with some spare in the 1X/2X. The colour is also true (I chose the royal blue). And it’s just thick enough to wrap easily, yet still be truly comfy and luxurious to the touch. Here’s the part where care instructions matter: having been in the garment industry for years, I know to fully launder any clothes before wear. Seriously everyone, the chemicals on fabric, the shipping/storage, the often-poor factory ventilation, and the multiple hands having manipulated the fabric even before it’s transformed into a garment should alarm you. Furthermore, with this poly-type, the washed and gently dried robe then needs to be brushed vigorously against the grain with a velour lint-removal brush (the double-sided red one) to catch all remaining debris, lint, and fuzz that the wash and dry didn’t catch. Don’t use sticky lint rollers as the glue will be transferred unto the fabric. It took a good 20 minutes for me to brush the inside and outside of my sized robe. Last but not least, as this brushing will create a static field over this poly-type, rub your hands with a bit of good oil (ladies, your face/body cream/serum will suffice) and then run your hands over the fabric lightly, countering the static easily. The robe is then ready to wear, and it will remain luxurious for quite some time and not shed on you when you wear it, even when wrapping yourself still damp from the shower. You won’t have to do this process for the next 6 months to 1 year… unless you wash it too frequently, and then it will pile and lint again. Yes… it’s a lot of care… but good things require and merit good care… a fact/knowledge often lost on generations. Overall… initial investment in care considered… this is a truly lovely robe! I’m wrapped in it now and realize I may have worn it obsessively over the winter if I’d gotten it earlier. 🙂

I LOVE this robe. I bought one for my husband a few years ago. He LOVED IT especially because it had a hood. Our daughter recently claimed my current robe therefore I thought I’d get the women’s version of the one I bought him. I am 5’2” 100 lbs. 34” chest. I ordered the small/med thinking it would be a great fit. However, once I tried it on, I did the “movement” test. I lifted my arms out to the side and it pulled from the waist. The lower arm pit seam layed just above my waist! So I adjusted the belt to the higher loop. That made it worse. Because I can sew and have knowledge of making a pattern, I realized that the outside shoulder seam was hanging significantly lower than my other robe. I pinched the fabric inward about 2” around the neckline above the shoulder to “lift” it up and I then could lift my arm. However, this made the arm length shorter which I do not like. I then tried on my husbands robe sized men’s small/medium. I liked how the sleeves were longer ( had to roll it up but that’s no problem for me) and I could lift my arms with no problem. So, I layed out his robe across the bed, then I layed mine on top of his. First off, the women’s robe is longer! The length from the neck to shoulder seam is the same length on both robes. ??? However, I realized that on the men’s robe, the sleeves are sewn straight out. The women’s is sewn on at an angle. BIG DIFFERENCE IN WHY IT FITS THE WAY IT DOES. Like I said before, I LOVE THIS ROBE- the fabric is great! So soft and super comfy. So now, I am not sure if I want to return it for a women’s Med/ Large or order a men’s robe. I could take it apart and re sew it but for the price I feel that I should not have to do any alterations. I keep trying it on to convince myself to keep it but again, for the price, I should love it as it is!

I bought one of these two years ago. Loved it so much I bought two more to give as gifts. Just ordered a fourth one for myself in a different color (wine). Noticed right off that the quality wasn’t the same. Washed it upon arrival. WTH! It not only dyed my other clothes, but the fabric disintegrated and there is a washer full of wine colored lint! The robe is literally COVERED with pills of lint. It’s disgusting. This is clearly NOT THE SAME ROBE as the other three purchased previously. I have washed my first robe many times without issue. This is either a fraud robe or the quality produced by this company is now garbage. DO NOT BUY. I am returning it.

This is soft and beautiful but runs very large. I bought a s/m and with it wrapped around to close properly one of the pockets was centered in the front of me. I am not a petite person but 5’9″ and normally wear a medium in most things. BUT, the major issue with this robe is that it transfers fuzzies/lint on EVERYTHING it touches, either from the inside or outside of it. I am returning it. There was no hassle from Amazon on the return.

What happened?!? Bought the same robe for my girlfriend two years ago and that one is holding up great just worn so I wanted to buy her another one because she loves it . Well two days after I gave her the new one all the stitching is literally falling apart. Seems like same material but just stitched together by kindergarten student. Not happy especially because it’s higher priced item. Will most likely return after I contact seller.

I wanted to love this robe, it’s so comfortable, but it sheds like a German Shepherd. Out of the package it was very linty so I washed and dried it thinking that would fix the problem. This only made matters worse! The lint was just sticky enough not to work with a lint roller. I tried washing and drying it again, no dice. So I tried using my canister vacuum. (This is how much I wanted to keep this robe.) Still, lint-city. So I’m sending it back because I could spend hours picking lint balls off this thing but I just vacuumed my whole house of purple fluff and I don’t feel like putting more work into it.

The bathrobe is lovely and soft. Colour is great. Very disappointed with the length of the sleeves and the robe itself. Bought this for my daughter who 170 cm. Comes to the top of her calves.
