I have always used Otterbox cases every time I got a new phone. This Symettry Clear case looked good on your website and when it arrived I put it on my phone and it really did look good. I never thought the case would be so slick! But it is 🙁 What happened Otterbox? Your cases always have the “grip’ sides I came to love for that extra bit of protection. This case does not have the extra bit of “grip” on the sides so you don’t drop it and I cannot hold onto this case! It seems like I’ve dropped my phone 10 million times. I must say my phone works like new, no damage from all the drops! And I don’t see any scratches!

I would not recommend for iPhone 13 pro or pro max.
The products were supposed to be for the iPhone 13’s however I did not understand the did not work very well with charging stand. Have since purchased a cover from Apple store that works very well.
I would not recommend OtterBox cover.

I’m super underwhelmed by this case. When it arrived, I was excited to get some extra protection on the new iPhone 13 Pro right away and Otterbox has always been considered one of the best. But, honestly, it looks like any clear case I could’ve found in the bargain bin at Walmart for way less $$$. When I attempted to attach my phone to any of my MagSafe products, the magnetic abilities were severely lacking. It did NOT feel magnetically safe.
One part that is my own fault is that I thought it also came with screen protection based on the picture. But it’s just a plain clear case for the back of the phone.
After doing more research, I’m sending this one back and getting a Spigen brand that has the boosting magnetic part embedded in the case and seems to protect the camera lenses better.

This product is described as compatible with MagSafe. I took that to mean I could use other MagSafe accessories with it. However when this case is on my iPhone 13 pro, and I attach the PopWallet for MagSafe phones, the attraction is very low. At first I thought the PopWallet must have a weak magnet. However as soon as I removed the case, the wallet adhered strongly.
I will be purchasing a less expensive clear case that is MagSafe from Sonix because of the appeal of being able to remove the PopSocket, PopWallet or whatever is on my phone, without removing the case. Unfortunately this phone case came in one-time use packaging that I had to destroy to open. So I think I’m stuck with an expensive case that I don’t even want to use.

The apple wallet will not stick to this phone. I also have a mag safe stand that charges and it will not stick to this either.

I received my 13 Pro this afternoon and was able to get this case here on the same day. It was a little difficult getting the phone in the case, but after pressing on each corner I was able to get it in. The camera lenses appear to be slightly below the surface of the case itself. If you look at one of the photos I uploaded, you can see the case does not sit flat on the desk. Its a non-issue for me.
I upgraded from an iPhone Xs and used an OtterBox Symmetry case for it too. Comparing both phones in their cases, the 13 Pro feels less bulky to me. The reviews I’ve read about the size and weight of the 13 Pro. In this case comparing both phones in their cases, the 13 Pro feels better in the hand to me. I think it has to do with the case for the 13 Pro being less rounded around the perimeter compared to the Xs case. When the cases are both laying on the desk, the Xs case is slightly thicker than the 13 Pro case.

So like a lot of people I like to check out the reviews before purchasing. And the reviews on this item can be a bit confusing. I’m a absolute fan of the Otterbox products but I usually stick with the defender series cases. So I wasn’t too sure about the symmetry cases. Reading the reviews I was a bit skeptical. I received mine today and it’s absolutely as advertised. No…. it’s not going to be as protective as the defender but it does the trick. I wouldn’t count on it saving my phone in the worst of circumstances but I’m sure it’ll protect it in normal circumstances. I didn’t experience any of the issues other reviewers complained about. Putting the case on was as easy as I had expected it to be. I mean you do want it to be snug imo. No issues there for me. Overall for what it is and the price I’m quite pleased. I got the clear case wanting to display the color of my iPhone 13 pro. So I sacrificed ruggedness for stylishness. 9/10.
