If you’re ok with being locked into their coffee offerings and pricing it does make an amazing cup of joe. While the crema sells it, they really do have a nice variety of coffee offerings and though their coffee comes in pre-sized pods (Pods of one size make 1.7 oz of coffee, of another make 5.1 oz of coffee, or yet another makes 7 oz, etc) you can just hit the brew button a second time to stop the flow when you’ve got the amount of coffee you desire instead of making the entire 7 oz’s or whatever size you chose. It is easy to operate and tidy to use, easy to clean … not a super fan of how hard the locking lever is to turn with one hand though (I broke an arm recently). All in all if you can afford the coffee it is a high quality cup.

The machine was easy to use but kinda loud. I used the Aerocinno milk frothier maybe 5 times and it stopped working. Customer service said they cannot replace it so send the machine and Aeroccino back and I will get a refund. That solution didn’t really help the fact that I already bought 100 capsules thinking I would be using this machine for awhile….I recommend only buying directly from Nespresso as they will be more helpful.

Was looking forward to a Nespresso machine and while this one is easy to use, it definitely has a leaking issue. I’m not sure where it’s coming from and what causes it. After the first few coffees, water leaks from the top and drips down the side of the machine. The base also reveals to be flooded in water, literally flowing from underneath. It sits in a pool of water.
I’ve had it replaced through Amazon (for the same model) by yet another machine that turned out to leak the same way. I got that second one refunded.
You’ll see mixed reviews by either people who are completely happy with this machine and have no problems with it, as well as by people who are having leaking issues just like me.

Keurig who? My fiance is an avid coffee lover and espresso fiend. Got him this as a 35th birthday gift and he lovessssss it. After my first cup of coffee, I too am a believer. The foamy cream on top is just perfect, the coffee is divinely hot and the flavor of Nespresso coffees….*chef’s kiss*
Of course the only and biggest complaint is that the pods are so difficult to come by. These machines specifically are sold everywhere and yet the pods are only available through Amazon and Nespresso. Also, they’re somewhat pricey at what, $1.10/pod? So, Keurig this is not, but given Nespresso’s recycling program and the quality of the brew, I ask who cares?
Bluetooth -eye roll- is the most unnecessary feature ever considering it basically just tells you when your water levels are low.

So I was so excited that the price was so much lower then the stores. But when I got it the outside of the box had a picture of the grey one which I was confused about but when I opened it, it was indeed mat black. (Also before I opened it the seel was broken which I thought was weird). The serial number sticker was on the top of the drip tray instead of the bottom of the machine which is where they always normally are. I looked at the machine and it was clean and didn’t look used so I thought nothing of it. Then my husband bought the 18oz pods since we like a big coffee in tbe morning and it was only making 6-8oz… I factory reset the machine and it now makes the normal 18oz. So I’m pretty sure the reason the price is so cheap is cuz the machines are refurbished or something cuz everything was weird straight from when I received it in wrong box.

The absolute WORST Nespresso machine of all time. This is out 4th vertuo next in the family to crap out. Three days into using it, water was leaking all over the cabinet it was in. We followed every step, called Nespresso probably 20 times over the same issue and their customer service is the worst. Takes 24 hours for a manager “call back” which doesn’t end up coming. I have spent over 3 hours collectively on the phone with them and issue still not resolved so I am done with Nespresso.

Makes delicious coffee but not hot enough. I have to put hot (not boiling) water in the water tank and then heat my cup up first. Then it’s perfect. And confused about how to turn it on. I turn it on, put a pod on and it keeps telling me there is no pod there. I have to take it out and put it in again and then it works. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Okay, where do I start? I remember the old coffee makers and how I loved them and then the Keurig came out and I loved that and made the switch. I thought the Keurig was the best thing going until I tried this Breville-Nespresso brewing machine. Here are some pros and cons so far.
Pros:
1. Can I say AWESOME enough times here? This Breville-Nespresso is AWESOME!
2. It is super simple to use. It is literally put in the capsule and push a button.
3. It has 4 different size cups from Espresso, Double Espresso, Gran Lungo, and Alto. AMAZINGLY ENOUGH, each capsule also has bar codes on the bottom of the capsules that automatically let the machine know what size cup it will be brewing. This is so cool!
4. I saw people talk about the capsules being a bit more expensive than those K-cups and other coffee makers, but if you dial down to the dollar, buying these breaks down to about a $1 a capsule. For me that is much better than the $3.29 a cup from the store and I can make it at home.
5. I have (had) a Keurig and I would have to wait a couple of minutes for that to start up before I stared brewing a cup BUT WITH THIS Nespresso, I truly put my cup in and have a cup ready to drink in less than 1 minute.
6. There is no pushing buttons and setting up timers with this machine. I literally throw a capsule in and that’s it. It has an automatic shut off after 2 minutes.
7. When done brewing you espresso or coffee, simply lift the lid and it automatically dispenses the empty capsule right into a removable bin and the bin holds any spilled water or coffee and is super easy to take out and dump.
8. Before I get too far in, this makes THE BEST COFFEE I’ve had in a long time.
9. You also get a variety 12 pack of capsules with this machine. As you can see in the picture, I’ve had a couple and I have already purchased more. They came same day too! I bought the 40 pack of double shots and a variety 50 pack.
10. It also comes with a frother that has hot and cold. WHAT! Shut the front door! The frother is so cool! My wife is addicted to the frother and even made a post on her IG to tell people about it and how good it works and makes her coffee taste. We are both so hooked.
11. On top of the great-tasting coffee this brews, it’s super sleek and stylish! We had friends over and they praised this machine on the taste and how cool it looked. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of my friends buy one.
As far as cons, I have absolutely ZERO! I tried to find at least one thing negative and just couldn’t. The only thing I couldn’t figure out was how to hook up the Bluetooth.
Overall, this Breville-Nespresso brewing machine gets a definite 5***** rating. It is so good that my wife and I have decided to get rid of our Kuerig machine effective immediately. Now that we have ordered more capsules, she is now looking at stands and holders for this machine and is even creating a “Coffee Corner” in the kitchen. If you like espresso, double espresso, and other size coffees, then IS A MUST HAVE MACHINE! I don’t guarantee much, but I will guarantee that you will love this Breville-Nespresso brewing machine and won’t be disappointed.

Honestly, this seems like the kuerig version of Nespresso. They trick you into thinking it’s space saving, but look at the dimensions. The length of it is 3+ inches longer than other models. Finding a place for it was difficult. Also, the crema is more likely foamy bubbles that pop. This doesn’t do the coffee justice. Also not sure the point of the Bluetooth connectivity. Not sure how this improves on anything but making more work for me to reach back into the abyss to refill the water tank every day while enjoying the smell of fresh plastic. Wish I got the plus.

After all the hype about “maximum crema” etc. I found this machine to be anything but “amazing”. What was amazing was that this is a Breville machine, whose reputation is one of excellence overall. This machine had NO viable instructions on it’s use, which I found to be not only frustrating, but there was nothing on the Breville website about it, and even less on the Nespresso website about HOW TO USE this machine…. it lauds it’s ability to change the temperature – but HOW to do that was not explained. So the two little pods I used to taste test were both lukewarm and didn’t have more than a fleeting appearance of what could have been the touted crema. Like I said, VERY disappointing given the hype. I returned it.
