Gen –
The toner lasts a good amount of time in comparison to the brand name, and offers a much better value. My issue comes from the print quality. At first it was alright (slightly lesser than with brand name), but this fades as you use the cartridge exponentially. At about a third of the way through my pages are covered in toner so much it’s a gray background where it should be white page. The images have lines from smears and aren’t clear at all anymore. Cleaning has done absolutely no good. It’s a mess. And I’m not sure pages will be legible by the time we get down to the end of the cartidge. It’s not likely I will purchase this again unless I can find a way to keep the powdered toner from coming out of the cartridge and making a mess of print jobs.

I’m always a bit hesitant in trying a different product in my printer so I was very careful in removing the packaging and installing the cartridge. I must say it fit perfectly into the holder and slipped into the printer with no issues. It is printing well, with no issues. I am completely satisfied. Thanks!

I have two Brother printers I have used 3rd party toner and drums in, and nearly every time it is a hassle getting the printer to accept them. This purchase was different, and even came with instructions. No arguments from the printer set up at all. 70 to 80 dollars for toner is far too much. You would think these printer companies would want to build brand loyalty and repeat toner purchases of their own brand of toner by lowering the price for sales over time. Guess not.

These cartridges were more expensive because of having the chip in them. Unfortunately, the print quality was poor after only a couple of days of use. Both Cartridges had the same problem. The right side of the page printed very, very light. I shook the cartridge trying to redistribute the ink/powder, but it didn’t help.

Printer did not recognize the cartridges. After multiple attempts and “fixes” they did not work. Replaced with a genuine Brother toner cartridge and problem solved immediately.

The quality of the black is good, however, this toner doesn’t come close to 2,500 impressions for normal use. I was expecting 500 impressions per each cartridge (2 pack) for printing my textbook, I was only able to print 200 pages before the toner became unusable. There are better products on Amazon.ca that last longer. I do not recommend for people who are looking for longevity and quality.

I have no problem buying “off” brand toner to use with my brother printer. But these cartridges have caused my printer to put out horrible quality, they cause the indicator light to come on telling me there is no toner (when clearly there is because the cartridge was JUST installed). I have used all the tricks in the book… turn off and on, shake the cartridge. Nothing works. I will not buy these again and now I can’t even return because that window is closed.

No complaints about printing text files. Seems perfectly compatible and as good as original Brother cartridge. However, when printing a photo it is markedly worse than the original toner cartridge. The original printed photos in B/W grayscale smoothly. This myCartridge replacement has large streaky lines across all photos (not looking for true photo printing but photos in text fields look awful). I took the new cartridge out and shook it but it made no difference.

These generic printer cartridges are amazing and works just as well (I think even better) thank the Brother cartridges that are triple the price. I do a lot of printing due to my business and bought these cartridges a second time because of the value and quality. Highly recommended

Je croyais que ça fonctionnait, mais en réalité, c’était les restes qui étaient dans la machine qui imprimaient. J’ai imprimante Brother et elle refuse de reconnaitre cette cartouche. Inutilisable malheureusement.

The printer does not detect the cartridge when it is inserted. I had to buy other cartridges. The return window closed before the ink that came with my printer ran out. I’m hoping the seller will offer me replacement cartridges. These are totally useless to me.

I am very pleased with this product. My boss was away and I ordered this brand as it had great reviews and was one third of the price of our name brand toner. I figured if it didn’t work I wouldn’t be out too much money. It arrived quickly and I just popped it in my printer and it started right away. The first couple of sheets I noticed the print was not as dark as our other toner but it was a very small difference. Now that I’ve been using this toner for over a week I don’t even see the difference. My printouts are clear and even. I will definitely be switching to this toner permanently. Great value.

For some reason, when I replaced these cartridges, I started noticing that the printing darkness has gone down – i have a simple Brother printer – nothing fancy….I am not sure if this is just a faulty cartridge or if it is a product issue overall.
