I received the mini fridge today and was very excited to use it. My purpose for the fridge was to replace the bigger fridge I have in my room to keep my skin care products cool. Well, it turns out, it does NOT do what it’s supposed to do. I placed my skin care products in the fridge before I left home and made sure the setting was on cool. However, when I returned home at night, I smelled something burning (like rubber) in my room and right then I knew that it was the fridge. When I opened the fridge, all my skin care products were very warm. As you may be able to guess, these are not made to be kept in warm temperature… Now, my skin care products approximately worth $200 are all RUINED because of the malfunctioning fridge.
This is very upsetting and what if it caused fire???? Like I mentioned, my entire master bedroom smelled like something was burning from the fridge. I had to open all the windows to ventilate the room as soon as I walked in.
UPDATE:
The seller has reached out to me to address my concerns. They sent me a replacement fridge but this time, fully tested to ensure that the functionalities do work. They also covered for my expenses as I had to repurchase them all (though it didn’t cover for all and it was a little annoying to go a few days without my skin care products) but I still thank them for their professionalism and prompt response.
UPDATE 7/2/2020:
As mentioned above, the seller has sent me a replacement last winter but I did not start using it until about last month. Well, it worked fine, except it generates water so I had to put some paper towel at the bottom inside the fridge (no biggie, I can deal with that..), but just last week, I could feel that the temperature inside the fridge has gone up and it was pretty much the room temperature when I checked so I turned it off in case something similar happens again (see my previous review). Not sure what’s wrong with it or if it’s not supposed to last for a long time although I don’t consider 1 month to be long. At this point, I might just go back to using my bigger fridge. I hope my reviews are helpful.

This is the cutest thing ever. I’ve been wanting a mini fridge for my skincare and face mask for a few months now but never thought it was worth it. I finally gave in and bought this one and i’m so happy! It’s so cute and it does it’s job. It’s a small pink fridge! I followed the instructions on the manual and it actually came with a card where i register my product to extend it’s warranty! Happy with my purchase, get it if you want a cute little fridge in your room.

This is soo so so super cute. I bought it for my skincare products to go on my vanity and it works perfect. My vanity is in my room and the fridge has a humming noise but I like the little bit of white noise. So keep that in mind if you don’t like that.. personally I don’t mind it. It keeps my products a perfect temp. I saw a comment of a girl saying that hers caught fire and she threw it out the window. lol I haven’t had that problem so fingers crossed.

Bought this little fridge while my mom has been hospitalized for cancer treatments for an extended period of time. Great for keeping little snacks or leftovers from home cold giving my mom the option to have something other than hospital food. She was the envy of the floor and all of the nurses thought it was a great idea and were popping in to see it because word spread quickly.

I bought this fridge as a replacement for a similar one I bought 3 years ago that wore out. It’s a simple little fridge without much to it, as you would expect. I slid the switch to “cool” without looking at the back plate of the device too much; the red LED went on. OK, fine. I put a couple of cans of Coke Zero in to test it out, and went home from the office.
The next day I sat down at my desk, started working, and glanced over at the table with the fridge maybe half an hour later. There were brown puddles on the table and dried brown splotches on my computer printer and other items on the table. Surprised, I went over to look, and realized the liquid came from the fridge. I opened the door, and to my surprise found two empty cans of Coke Zero, the lids of each can blown partly off. The fridge itself was extremely hot inside. I immediately unplugged it, and then inspected the back plate of the fridge, thinking I must have wrongly slid the switch in back to “heat” rather than “cool.”
Take a look at the photo. I was pretty mad at first about this fridge blowing up two cans of soda and making a mess in my office. But you can’t stay mad when faced with chabuduo this hilarious! I had indeed slid the switch to “cool.” However, as you can see in the photo, all the words on the back are printed mirror-image. Some manufacturing person (I won’t dignify that person with the term “technician” or “assembler,” as those terms are associated with some level of skill) clearly flipped the stencil used for printing those words, and no one at the factory was familiar enough with the Latin alphabet to realize that. Then, somehow the “heat” setting became associated with cooling, and vice versa. No one noticed this during manufacturing or during QC. Silly me; QC is not part of the chabuduo experience!
So after extensive cleaning – which still isn’t done, as my box of Christmas decorations for the office got soaked with Coke Zero – I put the switch on “heat” (I can’t type the mirror image characters in here) and waited for half an hour to see what would happen. Sure enough, this little thing cooled off. I put 1 can in and came back the next day. It was really cold, so at least it works when you figure out the workaround. Well, it’s worked for a few days; I don’t hold out hope that it will last long. I suspect the innards are made of shredded cardboard and inadequately-gauged wire.
If you do choose to spend your money on this shoddily-fabricated abomination of a product, test it empty first, lest your office, car, or home be drenched with exploding cans of liquid. Better yet, buy a different fridge from a different vendor.

Es una neverita que funciona con electricidad y cumple de maravillas su función de mantener el skincare fresco. También lo probé con alimentos y sirve para conservarlos frescos por algunos días.
El nivel de ruido es como el ventilador de una laptop, algo prácticamente imperceptible. No lo probé en modo caliente porque no lo compré para esa función.
ES IMPORTANTE QUE ENTIENDAN QUE NO ES COMO UN REFRIGERADOR TRADICIONAL.
No estén esperando que lo sea y es recomendable leer bien las especificaciones para que entiendan el rendimiento y si es lo que ustedes necesitan. Consideren que la función de esto es descender la temperatura ambiente unos 10-15 grados. El funcionamiento es básicamente un ventilador y una placa metálica que se enfría/calienta. No tiene regulador de temperatura ni gas refrigerante, por lo que no mantiene una temperatura constante. Por dicha razón, en el interior se forman gotitas de agua por la simple y sencilla razón de que la energía no se crea ni se destruye, solo se transforma. No tira agua, pero si no le dan mantenimiento pasándole un trapito cada 1-2 días para retirar las gotitas que se van formando, obviamente se va a acumular.
Si lo quieren para refrigerar cremas o comida, pero viven en un sitio donde tienen un calor de 40 grados, esto NO les va a servir porque el interior del aparato tendrá una temperatura de 30 grados aprox. En cambio, que si viven en un sitio donde están a 20-25 grados, esta cosita les irá de maravilla para conservar sus cremitas frescas y alguna cosa de comer por unos 2 días.
Otra cuestión de la que veo que se quejan es que no enfría bebidas a temperatura ambiente. Sí puede enfriar bebidas a temperatura ambiente, pero se tarda. En este caso, lo más recomendable es meterlas con suficiente anticipación, por ejemplo, la noche anterior y a la mañana ya estarán frías.

The fridge works as advertised and is a great little addition to my car. I use it to keep small water bottles cool so my riders can be refreshed. It does its job quietly and unobtrusively. While the fridge does not keep items “freezing cold,” it does a great job of keeping it cool (and that is exactly what it is described as doing).
Quite apart from the fridge, the top-notch support provided by this company has simply blown me away. I reported a little problem with a component of the fridge and received a reply within one business day. Another day later, I received a complete solution to my problem in the mail. Es muy buen producto, tengo con el ya casi el mes y me ha encantado además de que es muy bonito, el único problema que le encuentro es que escurre agua, ya tuve un refrigerador mini de la marca RCA y aunque me falló y se descompuso súper rápido, mientras funcionó nunca escurrió y eso que la plaqueta de metal estaba por fuera que es la que ayuda al proceso de refrigeración me imagino, pero de lo demás es excelente casi no hace ruido y tiene buena ventilación lo cual ayuda a que no se sobre caliente y a comparación del que ya tuve es el mejor mini refrigerador.
