These are lovely sheets, soft and comfortable. They fit the bed perfectly. Vertical elastic at the fitted corners takes up any extra fabric from the deep pocket, while they are very easy to slip over the mattress. Further, they arrived right on time.

So… what’s the one thing I thought I’d never be reviewing? Probably sheets.
That said, my wife and I decided to redo our bedroom, with new furniture, carpeting, and a new mattress…. and when buying the new mattress, we completely forgot why we weren’t going to upgrade to a king size… all of our sheets and comforters were for queen size.
Oops.
So, with the new furniture on the way, we realized we needed new sheets…. after spending more time at rather large brand name stores, we realized 3 things.
1.) King sized sheets are harder to find, and come in less options.
2.) Holy COW the prices for King sized sheets were crazy.
3.) We were going to buy our first set of 1000TC Egyptian Cotton sheets… just to see why the rest of the world is so gaga over them.
After being unable to stomach spending the $300+ for a good 1000TC set, I decided we’d check on Amazon.
After looking around, we decided to go with this brand, due to the amount of reviews, and positive responses.
They showed up quickly, they were installed on the bed… and I have to admit, the first day, I took a nap on them, and thought.. ‘meh.. not bad.. not great.. but not bad’… Keep in mind this was a 2 hour nap, on top of the sheets, after moving furniture all day long.
So… when I went to bed, later that night, I wasn’t all that excited about sheets… after all.. they’re just sheets…
Now, this is the part where things got weird. They’re just sheets… right?
*sigh* I’m forever ruined, now.
After sleeping under the sheets all night.. I woke up the next morning, surprised…. it was 8am.. on a weekend.. and I was wide awake, refreshed and comfortable in bed…. and while I’m sure some of this had to do with the new mattress… there’s 1 thing that I discovered… the sheets weren’t hot… they weren’t cold.. they were… neutral.
I tend to run hot, and every set of sheets we’ve ever tried.. I wind up overly hot under them, and kick off the sheet and blankets during the night… But, there I was…. super comfortable.. at an hour I normally don’t see on the weekends…
When my wife woke up, about an hour later.. even she commented on how comfortable the sheets were. She wasn’t cold, nor hot.. just.. comfortable.
*sigh* Apparently after discussing it, we’re planning on our next couple of purchases of the same sheets (different colors)…. LOL… So much for the cheap $20-30 sheets.. I’m gonna be broke, it appears.
The silver lining of this, is that these sheets are awesome, and their price is amazing compared to other 1000TC sets of sheets you’ll find in stores.
Seriously, give them a shot.. if I can be made to be a believer in what I was missing.. you can too 🙂

After receiving our sheets, two sets to be exact, two months later and a couple of washes have noticed little cotton balls forming. 1000 thread count sheets should not be doing this after two months!

I was initially pleased with the value for money this sheet set represented and because they were a gift from a friend. However, they don’t feel like the 1000 Thread Count sheets I purchased from Bed Bath & Beyond for about $150 more and felt less smooth and a bit starch-like to the touch. If I had to guess, I’d say they were about 400 TC. The finish had a few long pieces of cotton threads dangling, which weren’t trimmed properly at the overseas factory. I guess you get what you pay for. I’ll keep the free set my friend gave to me, but the extra sets I purchased for my room mates (including this set) were recently returned before they had a chance to open them up and use them.
UPDATE: I was recently solicited by the seller because I had been “carefully selected” to receive a free pillow case in exchange for a review, Just be aware the reviews you see for this product may or may not be initiated by the seller’s attempts to obtain a favorable rating in exchange for a gift (and no, I have NOT received any gifts for this review). One Star only for poor quality and cheesy attempt to distort the review process.

bought these after reading many reviews and about the softness and comfort of these. We took them and washed them first thing before ever using them. After taking them out of the dryer and went to spread them across the bed we seen several large faded spots in the fitted sheet, regular sheet and even the pillow cases. We have now washed these sheets 4 to 5 times and still they are very course and very thick feeling. For this price range I could have bought other higher named sheets and gotten better quality.
Changed to a 4 star cause the company did reach out to us and corrected the issue to which we are very thankful.
Update: So Changing back to a 1 star. When the company had reached out to us they offered to send another set or refund us the money. I agreed to the refund cause after our disappointment with the first set we really didn’t want another. They agreed and asked if I would edit the review I did so the following day as requested since they did agree to take care of the issue. Here we are several weeks later and still no refund. Crazy how money can be taken from me instantly yet several weeks and I still can’t get my money back.

I have used 1000 Egyptian Cotton Sheets for years-the ones sent me are not 1000 thread count. They are coarse and a rip off. The bag they came in did not even disclose any thread count let alone 1000…never buy from this company again! To be honest I would not have rate the above even 1!

These are my third pair of Egyptian cotton sheets. I purchased this pair, as well as “Chateau Home Collection” Egyptian cotton sheets to replace my pair that I have had for over three years. The reason for purchasing two pairs of sheets so so that when one was being washed, I would have another to throw on right away. NOW THE REVIEW: Let me start by saying these sheets do not feel like what you expect quality Egyptian cotton sheets to feel like. Rather than feel like satin like and smooth, they feel very rough when compared to the other to brands of Egyptian cotton that I have. They are extremely thin…Im talking about you can see through them even when not putting them between the light. My other two pairs are definitely thicker, yet still more cool to the touch and when laying in them. This has me concerned as to how long they will last. Finally, they came out of the box smelling extremely strong of chemicals. So much in fact that even after washing them once the smell still slightly lingered. If you know Egyptian cotton, or this is your first pair, beware this is not what quality Egyptian cotton is! I HIGHLY recommend purchasing the Chateau Home Collection 800 thread Egyptian cotton sheets. They are thicker, better quality elastic on the bottom sheet, softer and more cool. As a bonus, they are even about $15 dollars less expensive.

Extremely thin and cheap feeling. Pillow cases never stay on as they seem to be on the smaller side. Do not believe these are really 1000 thread count. Would not recommend.
