As another user pointed out, the color reproduction is not very good. Especially in the degrees Kelvin for shades of white. Warm white is too pink, soft white is too cold. I bought the Sengled to replace Osram/Sylvania/LEDVANCE Zigbee strips and the Sengled doesn’t come even close on color and temperature reproduction. If you are really in need of something which accuracy, don’t get these. If you want a decent build-quality product that’s easy to install and don’t care about color, these are fine.
The other big downfall for me was that the lights and App supposedly have 27 preset modes…not true. There are six…they are fine, Christmas, Halloween, etc and cycle colors nicely. However, and this is the deal-breaker, you cannot program these modes to turn on and off on a schedule! What?—I can’t tell it to run Christmas lights at Christmas time and Halloween lights in October…that makes no sense at all. Had I known this I would have stuck with the Zigbee strips.

This LED kit is amazing, it looks so much nicer in person, easy to install, and easy to link to your home automation. I have spectrum and I noticed some people say it doesn’t connect, that must be user error because they connected easy, and best part is I can tell google what color I want and it changes it for me. No need for the remote, but also has fun features like Christmas mode and Halloween.
One thing to keep in mind, measure before you install to make sure the connection in the middle with the pins don’t end up on a corner. You want that connection to be on a straight end of the tv. I put this on my 82 inch and like I said, I love it!!!!!.
The quality is amazing also, I actually recommend it to my friends and buying a set for my dad.

I bought this tape primarily for the white color with a temperature of more than 6000K, but when I got it it turned out that in fact, with this use, the blue LED turns on.
But this is not the main problem, about 10 days after the start of use, I noticed that the tape blinks at times, another 5-7 days passed and half of the tape stopped working normally. the brightness dropped by 70-80%, tried to adjust it in the application did not help.
If you need a real white color with a temperature of more than 6000K and a length of more than 2-3m, I do not recommend this tape for purchase.

Had these lights all over the house, was happy to see the price went down. I bought 32 ft and installed then around my room. The newer Sengled light strips don’t have near the color that the old ones had. The colors are much weaker than before. I included a photo of the older lights in combination with the newer lights, both on the same “salmon” color setting. The picture hardly does it justice, the left side is vivid while the right side (newer lights) is very pale. Very disappointing. Everything else about the product is great, works great. Color just sucks.

I really like the lights. Great color options, as well as white light options. Wish that it was compatible with Apple Home Kit so I could control it with Siri. Works with Amazon Alexa/Echo. Not sure if getting the version that requires the HUB would allow it to work with Siri, with a HUB that is compatible with Home Kit. I have a HUB and the lights that require a HUB work with Home Kit, so I’m thinking the version that requires a HUB may work with Home Kit. Hope that helps somebody out there!

Got these to use with SmartThings automations (if there is motion going down the stairs – they turn on blue, if garage door is open, they turn on yellow, if the something is unlocked late night they go red).
Overall color control and dimmer setting work as expected from SmartThings, Color Temp – not so much (Color Temp works as expected within the Sengled app). Note – I had to set the strip within the Sengled app, which then you give SmartThings access to you – then it shows up in SmartThings universe.

Since Lightifys announcement they are shutting their cloud servers down in August we have been on a quest to find replacement strip lights.
Most strip lighting advertise RGBW, but they are really only RGB and fail on an epic scale with whites. This manufacturer can promote true RGBW and white is really white not a green or blue white.
At 24V/36w output, the extra power out shines most that are just 12V.
Some features lack in the UI but a solid 5 star, worth the extra expense compared to other brands.

I bought 3 packs of 32.8ft of these strips, but when I tried to register anyone of it into the Sengled Home app, this one cannot finish the process to register the strips. I retried this process a lot of times, with their respective strip reset process, but continue with the same issue.
I know that the problem is not the router because, I can see the 3 strips in the router manager app with the MAC address and their assigned IP, but the app continues without register the strips.
So right now I have normal strips because I cannot use the Sengled Home app neither Alexa or Google assistant.
Also, I sent a request for assistant to the company and just the automatic email cames to me, I replied this email with the model and the issue, as the email requested, and continue without answers.
So, now what??

This Strip it’s great, as all the Sengled products the Alexa compatibility it’s really fast and easy to pair. I have the multicolor bulb and the synchronization with the strip it’s perfect, this product has a really good quality and the leds are really shining!
