This table arrived quickly and the instructions were easy to follow to put together. Once together, the legs easily slide under the couch, bringing it close enough to work on. The surface can be a little wobbly (side-to-side) as others have reported; yet it is firm with the 18 inch pole installed across the bottom of the structure [called a balance pole in description]. However, with laptop on the surface and mouse – more than stable enough to work with.
It has a lip, raised edge, on the front to hold the laptop in place (not slide off) if at the slight angle down – for reading a book, for example. The level surface position is parallel to the ground, as expected – (someone reported that it wasn’t) – so good for the laptop; added the lip to stop it from being pulled to far forward.
ONLY PROBLEM: According to the description, it can be easily stored NEXT to a wall or under a couch. I did NOT find that possible. The top drops down, and the base is NOT capable of being folded together, as the picture shows in the description. The two legs are “L” shaped and can NOT be twisted inward because of two problems – (1) the brace at bottom stabilizing the two legs and (2) the “L” shaped legs with no twist position (legs height set using pins on both sides of legs – no setting for twisting and position).
As photo #1 shows, the best this item can be stored is at the edge of a couch (with legs pushed UNDER) or alongside of wall with legs facing out. The description should reflect this. Instead they show a picture with easy folding inward of legs and storage upright against wall and under couch. NOT POSSIBLE as built.

I was worried when I bought this because of the other reviews. This is actually exactly what I was looking for! I don’t use the stabilizing bar so that I can store it under the couch. If fact, is 100% fine without. Why use it? My laptop is heavy and is has no trouble holding it.

I’m super pregnant and have started working from home with a laptop when I realized I don’t have a lap anymore, so I picked up this tray and now I use it all the time. I am very uncomfortable and in some pain and this makes it so I can get really comfortable on my couch and still get things done. I imagine this would be great for anyone who is recovering from an injury or with back pain because it is so adjustable and makes it so you can sit anywhere and bring the surface to you.

It’s exactly as advertised. For the angle of the tray’s surface, there’s literally only three settings, so it’s extremely simple to adjust. I don’t know what others were complaining about with it being difficult to position flat if you want to eat on it, as the middle setting makes it a flat surface for exactly that. It slides very close for eating or typing. The stability is as good as it can be given it’s a two-legged-slide-close design. The cross bar makes it stable to use as long as you’re using it for what it’s meant for: typing and eating/drinking on. You can adjust the leg height to several different settings with just clicking the button on the side of its legs. If you want something to slide close while on the couch then this exactly what you’re looking for. If you want something that supports more weight than food and drink then get a tray with four legs. It took less than two minutes to assemble. There’s only one way the pieces will fit together so I didn’t use the instructions, but they’re there for those who like to have them. The only design issue I see that one could make complaint about is the cup holder that slides out from the side of the tray. It’s way too flimsy to hold any container of liquid. I probably wouldn’t use it even if it were stable enough as it would just get in the way. I simply keep my drink on top of the tray with my food as I would at the table. That’s a small issue though considering how well it works for sliding close and saving your back, and its straight forward simplicity. I leave a plastic place mat on it for easy cleaning.

This is not sturdy at all. Not sure if it is the issue with my product but it wobbles a lot and also there’s no grip (check video). My laptop was falling off when used in incline mode. One more problem is with caps under the legs. They were sharp and scratching my floor when try to move around. Only positive point is it is easy to assemble.

This adjustable TV tray was the perfect answer to using it under a recliner and bed for my aging mother-in-law.

I received this about a month ago. I use it all the time with my laptop on it. As you can see in the picture, the right front where my mouse sits is bent. It’s not very sturdy if this happens only after a month of use.

These are easy to put up and takedown. The cup holder on the side is just strong enough for a 12 ounce can but probably not much more. I ordered two and one did not come with the leg stabilizing rod and I notified customer service. I had a new bar within 2 weeks! Great, quick responses to emails. Would recommend.
