Too tight! I usually wear a size 9.5 but read the reviews saying they were snug so go up a half size so I bought a 10. When they arrived I noticed they were a bit snug, but figured they needed some wearing in. And they arrived two days before our trip so too late to replace (there’s no 10.5) We hiked in Washington state and they caused damage to my toenails because they were so snug. I would recommend another hiking shoe.

The boot is really well cushioned and very flexible. The stitching on the upper is sturdy and I was so glad to find a woman’s boot that wasn’t either an insipid colour or pink in some way! Very comfortable and enjoyable to wear.
I bought a size bigger to allow for sockage and they fit perfectly.

Really impressed by these boots. As i read they run smaller so i bought a size bigger than I usually get & they were the perfect fit. Comfortable with normal socks but also has a little space left to wear thicker ones in winter. Didn’t rub or irritate from very first wear & they look great too. Coped well in wet, muddy weather & left my feet feeling warm & dry.
The only thing I would point out is that my mum purchased the exact same boots, but had to return them because they were too narrow a fit.

Did a 6 mile hike through the soggy fields and forests in the Cotswolds this weekend even during storm Alex. Feet where dry and comfy the whole time. Really impressed. Thank you

After trying 6 pairs of hiking shoes ranging from $60 to $200 I decided on this ones. I first tried my regular size 7 and they felt a little tight, no much room if your feet swelled up after hiking for hours, so I ordered a half size up, I have to say my feet are more on the narrow side and I don’t wear thick socks, so half size larger is unusual for me. I have to say this were extremely comfy. I hiked for 10 miles up a mountain in rainy weather and hey felt great and never got my feet wet either. Temperature was in the 30’s and my feet were kept warm, they may be too warm for summer, I don’t know yet.

I’m a 6.5 size so I was delighted to find a boot that offers half sizes. Unfortunately it was too tight, so I requested the 7.

Very smooth exchange, no hassle. Size 7 fits perfectly, it’s water proof and very comfortable. I’m a walking instructor so I will wear these out pretty quickly. I will be buying another pair when the time comes.

These are perfect! I struggled with Merrell ankle hiking shoes and needed something with more support. After breaking them in with a 2mi hike I am happy I found these.

The shoes feel great and still look good. They are water resistant but not water proof. My feet get wet walking the yard after a rain. The problem is the soles have come loose at the toe after only 4 months. I expected shoe better life from this brand.

In all of the Columbia footwear purchases I’ve made, from shoes to summer and winter hiking boots, they have always run true to size and fit well. Unfortunately, not these. The first thing I noticed about these boots was the lack of arch support. Total lack; even when I put my hand inside, it’s pretty much flat. That won’t serve me well on long hikes over any terrain. They also ran very narrow through the front half of the boot, which is not an issue I’ve ever encountered with Columbia’s. They fit perfectly around the ankle and heel, so I know going up a size won’t do me any good. They appear to be well-made and sturdy, they seat around the ankle bone wonderfully, and have nice tread, so I believe that if they fit me, they’d have held up very well.

I liked the fit – though maybe a tiny bit large.

I did not like the materials; a waterproof shoe whose outer materials absorb water like a sponge? Really? Who thought of this? Snow or rain soaks the exterior – and they get wet, heavy and COLD!

These boots are excellent quality with fantastic grip. The colours are also more interesting than a lot of similar boots. However, they were too tight round the toes, even with a thin pair if socks, so had to be returned. I was tempted to go up half a size to see whether that would help and may yet do so.
Returning them was very simple with the free service.

I bought these boots because they were advertised as waterproof. They’re not. The first time I walked through some wet undergrowth the boots and my feet were soaked. They also make a very loud squeaking noise with every step. I thought maybe the noise would go away after the boots were broken in, but six months later they are just as squeaky as ever. It’s unfortunate because the boots are very comfortable, but between the noisiness and the damp feet I rarely wear them.

There must have been a design change in these boots, I have an older model that fit my feet like a glove. These pinched my toes even with thin hiking socks on and have no arch support. I have flat feet but still need a bit of support. Very disappointed as there are few models of boots in womens size 12. I know I can goto mens sizing easily and I often do, bit it is nice not to have to order the more “manly” color schemes all the time.
