I bought this for my boyfriend’s 32nd birthday. He is a line cook in a fine dining restaurant, and he was using a Noble prior to choosing this bag. He has 2 or 3 knives that he uses regularly plus 5-6 more he likes to have on hand, then plating spoons, a microplane, tongs, etc. The only thing that wouldn’t quite fit was a bench scraper, but that’s not a big deal. He absolutely loves it, and it looks very high end for the price. So far it seems durable, but he’s only had it for about 2 months. I would definitely recommend this for someone working in a commercial kitchen – absolutely worth the price!

I bought this for my husband for Father’s Day and he really likes it. I love that there aren’t any major labels or weird brand names on it. The craftsmanship seems well worth the price and seems like it will last a good length of time. He liked that the knife/utensil pockets were on both sides of the roll and that it had a bag/pocket for other items like kitchen (or in his case, bird dressing) shears. He plans to use it to take his kitchen utensils on bird hunting trips or when we are traveling in the RV, but it seems like it would be good for daily use as well.

I am a chef and was looking for a newer knife roll as my old roll was getting a bit too worn. Found this and for the price, figured it was too good to be true but decided to give it a try anyway. I must say I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of this knife roll! The leather is beautifully handcrafted and is definitely a sight to behold. Don’t let that exterior fool you though, you can tell that it will hold up to the challenge of time and protect the knives inside equally as long. I look forward to using it for many years to come and let it continue to be a masterpiece and representative of the company that made it! May even get another one later down the line and have it embossed, considering that is an option I missed the first time around. But this will definitely not be my last time ordering from this company!

This knight bag is the beautiful true leather and fine craftmanship. When it come out of the box, you will be stunned immediately with the quality. There is full leather from inside to outside, even the hangler. There are plenty of slot, and the slots is deep and tight enough to keep the knifes in place. When you roll the bag with full knife in it, the leather will show some marks out side, I don’t know because it is the real leather or something wrong with the quality. The bag itself is already heavy, so with a load of tools inside, it will hurt your shouder if you carry for long time. In the end, if you are serious working chef, this is one of the considering interm of professional and quality.

Absolutely love the new knife bag! Am very impressed with the quality of the leather and the quality craftsmanship that went into making the bag. Lots of storage on the inside and easily accommodates multiple sized knives, cleavers, and miscellaneous small tools, and comes with a nice shoulder strap as well (don’t remember seeing that in the photos prior to purchasing. If there is one area that might be improved it’s the straps-to-buckles, which seem to be a little lighter weight than the materials that make up the bag itself. Overall, I am very happy with the bag and will get years of use out of it and believe that it will only get better with age and use over time. Recommend!

After several weeks of research and searching, I settled on this roll from Aaron Leather Goods. In my opinion, this is the best leather knife roll in the $100-$400 price range. The construction is solid with good stitching throughout. The shoulder strap is padded and functional. Zippers are heavy duty and placed correctly. The inside layout of the bag is also well thought out. Typically knife rolls in this price range are just 10 slotted at the bottom. This causes the bag to be swelled to one side ( where the knife handles are ) and look cheap. This bag however has the slots on top and bottom so the bag folds up nice when full. The inside pouch is small but functional. The only complaint I have is that the addition of magnets inside the roll to keep knives in place is needed. I am looking into a local shop adding these for me. Chefs that are looking to spend this kind of money on a knife roll also have expensive knives so keeping them in place inside the bag so blades and handles are not scratched is important. If you purchase this bag also make sure that you have covers for your blades. If you do not have says or blade guards they will cut through the leather. This is not to say the leather is thin its not. The look and feel of the leather are top-notch. I own a bunch of leather bags, jackets, and shoes, and the look and feel of this leather are worth 5x the amount I paid. Aaron Leather Goods also has a website where you can register your product and have a 1-year warranty. This bag is a well-made product at an unbeatable price. Purchase with confidence.
