This is a preliminary report as I have only just received the 5 Little Donkey Andy Men’s Lightweight Short Sleeve Shirts that I ordered a few days ago. First, I am a 6′ 170# slim male with a 38″ chest and usually wear shirts that are advertised as medium. I was confused by the size description for the shirts, i.e. 44-45 for small and 46-47 for medium. Based on that I should have ordered something even less than small. Because they are “relaxed fit”, I now assume that the chest size they list is the actual shirt dimensions, not the wearer’s size. Anyway, the medium fits just fine, comfortable relaxed fit, certainly not snug, not baggy.
Pros: Light weight, comfortable, should perform well in warm weather. Buttoned and side zippered front pockets. The zippered pockets are big enough for a cell phone. The pastie-like tassel pulls on the zippers are probably unnecessary but they can be removed as they are attached to a more concealed normal metal zipper pull. I dripped some water on the shirt and it beads up nicely, so it is waterproof. The question is how long after several wears and washes will the waterproof condition last. The colors are nice. The medium size gave plenty of length to wear without having to tuck in.
Cons: The only con so far is some loose threads at the button holes that snagged the buttons on a couple of the shirts. Maybe a bit too much to ask, but since they are travel shirts, it would be nice if they were wrinkle free, but I have not yet washed them to see how they come out of the dryer.

Mir hat das Material sehr gut gefallen, es trocknet nach einer Wäsche sehr schnell. Ich war auf meiner Radreise mit diesem Hemd sehr zufrieden.

The quality on these shirts seems very good, and they are a good value for the price. I recommend them with one caveat – buy a larger size. I can still wear some size large shirts in my collection, but unfortunately have moved into the extra-large size range. I bought two of these shirts in extra large. They fit like a roomy large. If you are carrying around a made-in-Milwaukee midsection or require a roomy extra large size – go a size up! I wish I would have purchased 2XL. The ones I have fit, but I would prefer more room. Oh well . . .

There is nothing to dislike about this product. It is one of the best travel (casual) shirts I have ever owned. Exceptional style, fabric and workmanship. I love that it comes with a million pockets. All pockets are protected either by a Valcrow or a zipper. Safe in machine wash and dryer. No ironing required. Color has remained the same (unfaded) after three washes.
Caution about fitting: size is not consistent. My normal size is large. But I needed a medium for a short sleeve shirt and needed a large for the two long sleeve shirts that I subsequently bought.
The good thing is that Amazon allows us to try shirts. But it’s a bit of a hassle even if returns are free. The Kohl’s store where I have to take the return goods is ten miles one way.
But I would still highly recommend these shirts.

I am happy to right a review for this shirt. It was a great tailored fit for a 6′ 200lbs guy. Hung well at the shoulders and cut nicely at the abdomen. The zipper and button pockets were very well done. Strong, heavy, high quality fabric. The stitching was great. I will buy from this manufacturer again.

The shirt has ridiculous little zipper pendants hanging from the chest, and they weren’t pictured in the ad.
Too much trouble to return so I guess I’ll use it as a work shirt

Best hiking/ outdoor activity shirt I’ve owned. I wear this variety of technical apparel as daily wear and I have experience with many of the more popular brands such as Columbia, Kool, mountain hardware, royal robbins, Marmot, Eddie Bauer, etc. I use them for birding, hiking, cycling or wherever whimsy takes me.
The Little Donkey Andy shirt is well constructed, just enough weight to drape properly and look tidy, actuallly functional pockets, breathes and wicks, fits perfect. Im sold on the brand. Have purchased 4 of these total as well as some their hiking shorts which I am quite impressed with.

I really wanted to like this shirt and maybe I will in the long run, but for now all I can say is this shirt is really weird. The weight is weird. It is much heavier then I expected. The fabric is weird. It feels like it is made from a parachute. The shape is weird. It is kinda boxy. And the zipped pockets are weird. They are in a weird place (not sure what I would put in them there) and the zipper handle protrudes and bounces when you are moving. On the plus side, I really like the color.

Overall I’m happy with the shirt. It is sheer in the areas that don’t have a double layer, like in the pockets, so the photos are deceptive. The sheer looks does not bother me but I could see a lot of people not being happy with that. The zipper pulls do not appear in any photos so I was surprised when I saw them. They are easy enough to remove since they are attached with an elastic band. I just think the seller should show them and comment that they are easy to remove if not wanted.
