It’s hard to go wrong with a black shirt–this shirt fits well around the shoulders and waist, it washes well, and it looks good pressed. The lack of buttons on the collar make it better suited for casual wear. Recommended.

This review is for the Calvin Klein Men’s Solid Pocket Button-Down Easy Shirt (X-Large, Brilliant White). Really nice looking and fitting shirt. Classic styling, simple design, works just as well with a pair of jeans or khakis for a casual look, or with a dress suit. The cut is more of a “regular” cut, not a trim or athletic fit, although it does have more room in the shoulders and arms than a lot of other dress shirts I have worn.
The 100% cotton fabric is also very nice. Great thickness for a dress shirt, smooth and soft to the touch, and doesn’t have a rough cotton feel that other shirts with a coarser weave can have.
I really like it, and very pleased that I ordered it. It’s a great value for the quality.

This shirt fits me perfectly! I got the shirt for our cruise coming up for formal night. It fits very well and looks super nice! Seems very soft and did not get super wrinkly when it was cleaned! Definitely a very nice quality dress shirt!
If it’s in the budget I would definitely recommend this shirt!

Calvin Klein’s Button Down Shirt is nicely made from soft and well finished fabric. The buttons are securely attached and the overall look and feel is high-end.
In a size large it fits my 6’4″ and 200 pound husband okay. The shoulders, torso, arms, and neck are great. The overall length from top to bottom is a touch short, however. When sitting down it tends to untuck from the back of his pants.
I washed the shirt in my front load washer using cold water and dried it on low heat. It came out well, the black colored stayed deep and even, and it did not shrink.
All in all… nice, but too short.

My first impression of this shirt was thinking what a high quality fabric it was. It just feels great — sturdy but flexible, and a nice, deep, true black. I looked over the seams, and they all look great too. So my first impression is that this is some seriously high quality construction.
Thankfully it also fits great. I’m consistently a size medium, and this shirt fits great. It’s not really fitted, but it’s also not baggy or blousy. Just a traditional cut. The sleeves fit well for me too.
I’ve also put this shirt through the wash, and it still came out looking good. No color fading or pilling. It did need a little ironing, but not bad at all.
Oh yeah, and thankfully the CK logo is really subtle on this shirt, so you look crisp and professional, not like a walking billboard.
I’m really happy with this shirt!

Soft fabric but sturdy. I mean, it can take a hit. It is not easy to damage. It is important to me as I am not a delicate person. I ordered a Large size and if i gain 1 pound I will probably loose the shirt. So is somewhat on the smaller side. I would still go for the large as it fitted as a slim large.

The overall fit is quite standard but on the looser side. You have your typical wider body that requires fitting and the longer lower section. What surprised me was that the sleeves weren’t longer for fitting, which really makes the shirt not very compatible for people with longer arms. Generally shirts are larger so that it can be taken in by a tailor but this one had these drawbacks that one should consider before purchasing. Or perhaps I’m just an oddly shaped ogre that does not conform to the standard tailor.

Calvin Klein Men’s Solid Pocket Button-Down Easy Shirt
I picked up this shirt in black and it’s pretty nice. The arms are a little short for me (i’m 6’6″ though) but that’s typical of non-tall sized items. I can still wear it, it’s just when I extend out my arms that the sleeves come up a good bit. When I stand with my arms at my side, the sleeves come to my wrists.
