For the people complaining about wrinkles: It’s Linen. That’s linen life when it comes to shirts. Cold wash, hang dry, and steam iron. If you aren’t down with that process, then you really should be looking at cotton/poly blends that are intended to be wrinkle free. They’ll save you a little time in the morning, but you’ll be giving up a lot of comfort.
Now, with the linen disclaimer out of the way, let’s get down to business. The shirt fits as expected for a slim-fit in large. If you shop American Rag or other popular brands, it’s almost identical except the tail is a couple inches longer. It’s long enough to be tucked in, but not too long when un-tucked. If you are one of those in-between M and L people, like me, I’d advise going with the large.
The linen itself is a little heavier than expected. No too heavy, as it still breaths fine. My first day out in it was 94F, and spent about two hours driving in a convertible with no air conditioner. The shirt did it’s job and kept me relatively cool. By contrast, if I do a similar commute in a cotton shirt, I’ll be a sweaty mess by the time I get to my destination.
The color of the shirt is pretty accurate to the pictures on Amazon. All the buttons appear to be stitched in good. All the other stitching is clean and fairly heavy, no weird loops or hanging strings. The shirt also doesn’t have any stress points with sitting like some slit-fit cuts that often put stress on a couple of buttons depending on your position.
I’ll be getting a couple more of these in different colors soon.

I bought a bunch of the Amazon linen shirts. Sizing was my problem because I’m right in between making it always a guessing game. These run just a tiny bit large. I would normally be a small but in the unfitted version I’m an extra small and in the fitted version I am a small. With the hot weather we’ve had, today getting to 99, these shirts have been fantastic. Linen is much better at letting the air get through to you then a knitted shirt. They have become my staple for everyday that I go out this summer. Don’t expect it to be like an extra fine $120 linen shirt, but it’s still far better than you would expect for the price. Linen naturally wrinkles, it’s normal. If it didn’t it would likely not be linen or even a linen cotton blend. On the other hand, with a little fabric softener these come out of the dryer just needing some slight touch-ups in most cases. I’m not a fan of the stiff labels they use, so on a few of the shirts where it was bothering me, I took them out. No problem.

I originally purchased the XL but it was a little too tight on me. I don’t blame the shirt, I blame myself for putting on weight. So I purchased the XXL and although it seemed a little too blousey, at least the buttons weren’t stretching like the XL. It is a very nice, comfort, lightweight button down shirt and it was perfect for our dress up night in Punta Cana. My only complaint is that it wrinkles very easily and stays wrinkled. The attached photo was taken after sitting down for dinner and you can tell the whole bottom of the shirt is wrinkled from when I was sitting. I would definitely recommend this shirt if you’re looking for a linen button down.

This shirt has a very medium to heavyweight feel when you unwrap it. But a cycle or two in the wash after use relaxes it somewhat yet it still retains the durability you feel when you put it on. You cannot find any such shirt in the mainline department stores for less money and for any difference in quality. I owned a very good name brand shirt I had purchased in a store last summer. It is of a lighter weight and this shirt from Amazon gives a man some variety of choice in linen weight. If you don’t want something that is sheer, this is definitely the Spring and summer shirt for you. This is especially true since it is a slim fit which already is an issue when you go shopping for men’s shirts in the stores. The shirt is fairly priced, well made and you won’t get the feeling you are wearing a tent as in many other brands that make shirts on the assumption all American men have beer guts. Thank you Amazon!

Amazon size control is very accurate. The size Large shirt is the same as other size Large shirts which I have bought from Amazon on previous occasions. These shirts fit nicely round the shoulders, looked pretty good after ironing (see photos) and feel very soft and comfortable to wear. I am pleased with them. I am 6’1″, about 175 lbs and of fairly slim build. I found the Large Slim-Fit size to be just right. They are linen, so don’t expect them to look as crisp as a smart business shirt. I like them for casual wear at home.

This shirt went on vacation with me to Puerto Rico, and I’m glad I brought it. I had to iron it in the hotel room before going out, but that is a minor inconvenience. Linen is fantastic in hot, humid environments. I have a slim build and this slim-fit shirt in medium fits me very well. The quality of construction seems good too. Overall I am pleased with this purchase, as the price was much lower than other brands for a linen shirt.
And to the reviewer that complained about the wrinkles in this shirt, and wish it had more “technical fabric” (paraphrasing), you’re wrong. This is a 100% linen shirt, wrinkles are the price you pay for that, and no, it doesn’t need to be a man-made nylon to be a great travel shirt. Linen is the best for hot climates. If you want wrinkle-free, don’t buy linen, it’s not the shirts fault!
