The dress shirt looks good and fits as expected. It has plenty of room in the arms since that is where most of my dress shirts tear. The color is not as strong as the pink shirt (tore on the arms) I was replacing but it is still nice. It is a quality shirt.
I don’t really have to iron the shirt but it looks better if I do. I can toss it around the dryer if I’m feeling lazy and I think it looks acceptable. There may be a few lines.
The shirt is a little bit see through but not as bad as some shirts. I can barely see my undershirt neck and arm lines.
Overall, around $14 is a great price for a dress shirt that looks this nice. I would still be happy at double the price. Some colors are more expensive though like up to $45 while others are as low as $15-ish. If you can get one for under $30 then I say go for it!
Pros: Price, Not ironing looks acceptable, Fits as expected, Quality Cons: A little see through, Color could be more vivid, Iron required to look best, Price inconsistencies among colors

I got these shirts yesterday and I plan to throw them out. They came in a plastic bag from Amazon — not really very conducive to sending something back. Cheap packaging, poor fit, and bad color.
The shirts are both too dark a blue as well as they don’t fit. I cannot roll them up because the sleeve size is too narrow. And I am not a very large guy. I have similar shirts from other vendors that have no arm issue. I would think that would have to order a shirt that is not a “slim fit”, or perhaps a larger size to compensate for poor arm fit situation.

Ordered for my son for an interview, it fitted him as expected, looked very smart and is lovely quality. When he picked it out I thought it was going to look like his old school uniform shirt’s but it’s much nicer than them and a nice shade of blue.

Anyone who orders a shirt with a sleeve length of 36″ would naturally assume the tail would be a bit longer. You’ll be disappointed ordering this shirt.
The shirt is well made, of a good material and everything you’d expect from a shirt – except for the annoyingly short tail. It constantly rides out of my slacks. There’s probably an inch of material that gets tucked in when seated.
Anyway – offer a “tall” option, charge the extra five bucks, and be done with it.

I’ve been wearing Boss shirts for the past decade. I’ve paid between $70-$110 for Boss because of the quality and fit. I’m about 5’9 and 155 pounds. I prefer slim fitting shirts that are made to fit my arms and not my legs. Also, I like shirts that are neat when tucked in my pants and don’t require bunching in the back to make the front look neat.
These Buttoned Down Slim Fit are almost exactly what I want but at half the price. I bought four shirts in different colors to wear at a wedding, church, and business casual events. I love the feel, the quality, the fit, and the price. I’ve been wearing them for about two months now and have washed each of the four shirts at least two to three times, and they still look like new.
The Feel: The Supima cotton is soft and feels like an expensive shirt. It has a sheen that stands out like other high quality shirts. The different colors feel the same and use the same material.
The Quality: These shirts are slightly softer and thicker than the Amazon Essential shirts. They are made of a better Supima cotton material. The higher density stitching is well done and gives the appearance of higher workmanship.
The Fit: While I like the slim fit, I wish they had an even slimmer or super slim or skinny version of this shirt. The arms are slim but there is still room to make it slimmer compared to the Boss versions of slim fit. This is the only aspect I wish Buttoned Down could add- a slimmer version.
Non Iron: It’s not entirely iron free. If you are able to get it out of the dryer immediately after it’s done, you have a fairly wrinkle free shirt. If you like your shirts crisp and completely wrinkle free like me, you will need to do a minimal amount of ironing. I would consider this wrinkle resistant and good enough for business trips when you cannot iron or if you are wearing a suit that covers most of your shirt.
I really like these shirts and highly recommend them.

Very nice trim fit for an off-the-rack (RTW) dress shirt. Clean tailoring and nice cotton—not as soft or as luxurious as high-end offerings such as an Eton of Sweden, but at a fraction (5%!) of the cost! Arms are quite slim, especially in the forearms, which makes for a tailored look but can be difficult to roll up. I am 6’2” and 175# with a 33” waist and long arms; the 16.5/35 shirt provided a very satisfactory trim fit and good range of motion, although the arm holes could be just a bit higher. Overall, nicely styled and well worth the money on any color/size combination you find for under $20 (as the prices vary drastically).

Ciao!

Other Amazon basics I have ordered have been good value for the money. This is not one of those. Shirt was at least one size smaller than it claimed to be. Arms were likely a 31 instead of stated 34. This made the shirt sit pinched behind my shoulders, definitely a “cheap” look. Also, likely due to the poor sizing, there is almost no shirt tail, which makes it ride up above the pants waistline after a few steps. Fabric quality is mediocre. It will work fine for the online calls I intended it for, though I will have to roll up the sleeves. It is unlikely I would wear this shirt in public.

I needed a shirt for a formal occasion. My old one took forever to iron the wrinkles out and the collar was too tight.
It’s great to be able to choose collar size, arm length and fit style. I’m certainly not slim, but Slim fit was just right for me and I expect Classic would have been too loose. If it was a T-shirt I’d have said it was normal fit.
One quick wash and after drying it on a hanger I was delighted to find the shirt required no ironing at all!
Prices for these Buttoned Down shirts seem to vary a lot but mine was under a tenner and it arrived in time to save me! Thank you Amazon.

Bought this shirt for the BF, hoping it would match his slim shirt style. The shirt was OK, and I hope these reviews get Amazon to tweak the design. The shirt is basically your Dad’s shirt with a modern twist. It definitely had a more form fitting fit, just not as modern as I hoped. My BF is 6′-2″ and weighs 175 lbs, so slim build. He liked it, but he pointed out that it flared out a little in the middle, and the button placket looked a little too traditional for a slim fit shirt…too wide, and too obvious. Not bad Amazon, but not great.
