This worked well and my 11 yr old granddaughter really loved it but there aren’t any refills. Once the enclosed templates are used there is no option to purchase more. I made more by cutting templates from drawing paper but they were obviously blank.

We got this for my two boys for Christmas because they both like spinning things, and because my oldest had seen it in a store and really liked spinning it in the package.
The cons: Maybe we didn’t try hard enough… but it took us two whole months to figure out how to work this thing. It’s not actually complicated at all, but I feel like the instructions made it seem complicated and inaccessible.
Pros: It turns out, it comes loaded with batteries and ready to go! Just flip the switch, put on a paper illustrated disk, and spin! (It works best in a darkened room.)
The light only turns on when it’s spinning – so I bet these batteries will last a while!
The paper disks and provided pens are wipe-friendly, so you can color them again and again!
The paper disks are also fairly indestructible – if your toddler crushes them, you can actually flatten them out pretty easily and return them to spinning condition. Sweet!
Also, like I said, my kids spent over two months playing with this toy regularly, without knowing what it does. It’s just knd of fun and satisfying, even as nothing more than a strange fidget spinner.
The flashing light isn’t that bad. I’m very sensitive to strobes, as they are a major migraine trigger for me. My kids aren’t allowed to play with flashlights because of this, unless I’m shut off in another room. But I can handle the Gifeez light.
What could be improved: I don’t love how small the pen caps are. Definitely a choking hazard… But there’s nothing stopping you from swapping them out with your own pens!
Also, the blank discs should have guild lines on them. It’s hard to free-hand the even spacing needed to make the flip-book effect work.
Overall, a really neat update on the classic zoetrope toy! I had a zoetrope growing up, and I loved it, but I think I was 10 when I got mine… It was not super child-friendly. This Gifeez, however, is so simple and easy for even tiny kids to use!

Such a great little toy! This was under $4 when I purchased. My five year old loved coloring the pre-printed discs, and had a good time experimenting different ways to color the blank discs. This little spinny thing allows for a good deal of creativity and it continues to entertain her months later! We have used regular paper to make more discs. Highly recommend! The light works when spinning it, super fun to watch in the dark!

My 6 year old son got this from the ‘Easter bunny’ this year. It dropped in price to $2 on amazon at the time. This toy is well worth its money in value. My son loved coloring the different paper circles to put on the spinner and watch the colors and motions. It really is a cool little toy. Highly recommend.

I’ve purchased this for several kids as gifts, including my own. It has so many different designs to color and they are all super trippy looking when you spin it. Even better that it’s on sale. Adults have fun with it as well.

Incredibly disappointed with the packaging of all things. The spinner is fine but the box presentation is unsettling. Half of the box is covered in small legal text, warning us of the danger that the spinner has flashing lights and could harm a child. The flashes won’t concern the child I was going to give this to, but there was so much “danger” writing (in literally every known language on the planet) right on the front, and the sides, and the bottom, and the back, I didn’t think it would give the impression I wanted as a gift that this could actually be fun to play with. Sorry gifeez, learn to advertise better.

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much. I took a chance bc I got it at a ridiculous deal. But this thing is amazing!! It has two modes (switch on side) and it lights up (only when spinning- initially I thought I needed to change batteries). I’m not sure about the bad reviews bc it’s pretty simple. Yes, I wish they sold a refill pack but it comes with quite a lot and you can use one as a template to cut your own. Now… at reg price of $20 not worth it. At amazon price of $10 definitely!! * would have loved to post a picture and video but the option to do so isn’t there. * also, other reviewers indicated you can use included markers and wash/recolor… we did not find this to be true for us.

Purchased this for a gift so I haven’t seen the contents. Seems as if it would appeal to a child interested in arts and crafts. While I received the item shown, it unfortunately arrived in a box that was not particularly appealing for gift giving. The item contents as listed on the box are the same but the box is different. Subsequently saw this in stores comparably priced but packaged more appealingly.
