This item was brought for my Goddaughter who had a slight delay. This product help strengthen thinking skills. Recommend as a start to teach. All children.

I have a very young niece and nephew starting to learn colors, shapes, letters, numbers and the like so when I was offered this EARLY LEARNING CENTRE shapes and numbers puzzle I certainly took Amazon up on it! This is a very nice puzzle, it’s made of a decent weight wood (not so light that I feel it would break easily, not so heavy a kid couldn’t carry it easily and it wouldn’t pinch fingers when putting it down). The colors are very clear and bright, there is no “well I think that might be pink” it definitely is (same for the other colors). The puzzle comes with a pouch to put it in which is nice- hopefully it will keep the pieces together! The numbers and shapes are a good size, great for little hands and not easily a choking hazard, though with anything like this there should always be supervision (and interaction anyway). To me, the number 1 is the only piece I would have any concern with but you never know! The company is US based but the puzzle is made in CHINA for those who want to know. There is also an 800 customer service line. For 12.99 this is a nice puzzle and a great tactile/visual option for little ones’ learning.

our 2.5 year old grandson is just starting to learn and this set is perfect for him. It’s not overwhelming. We can easily run through the numbers, he is also learning the shapes of the numbers which helps him. It’s simple, easy to play with and I find that after a few weeks now he’s getting much quicker and has more confidence. Funny, his older sister likes to play teacher also so he’s getting double duty! It’s a durable puzzle great for I’d say between 2-4 year olds.

Perfect in every way.

What I like:
— The 6 and the 9 are shaped differently so they can’t be mixed up.
— The chunky puzzle is good for little fingers.
— These are made of sturdy layers of engineered wood.
— They have a little pouch to store pieces in.
— It teaches colors too, since the slot and the piece are the same color.
What I didn’t like:
— The pieces fit loosely into the slots and fall out easily. This means they would be easily lost if you took it with you somewhere and didn’t pay attention to every piece.
— The carrying bag is made from a material and is pretty much disposable.
— It doesn’t expressly say non-toxic on them. They are made in China and sold by Addo, a UK based company.
