Horrible POS! Worked great a few times and has quit working properly 20 days after the return window has closed. Go figure!! Won’t even attach to a can to get it open now. Wouldn’t let the can lids go the last 3 times I’ve used it. Probably used it a total of 8 times. Loved it at first then quickly came to anger and frustration because this is the 5th can opener I’ve purchased in the last 5 months. I’m so sick of wasting my hard earned money on damn can openers!!! Now they will not take this one back.

Update of previous review…Could not get to work so I was preparing to return but decided to try once more…it worked perfectly! Have no idea what I did or didn’t do originally, but it worked and I have been using steadily since. I had purchased 3, 2 as gifts…recipients have used them and work perfectly for them. We are all pleased with this opener and would certainly purchase more for gifts.

If I could give it zero stars I would. It doesn’t even pretend to work. It latches on and screams like a toddler being dragged out of the candy aisle at the grocery store. Save your money, this is absolutely not worth it.

10 out of 10 from me, works first time everytime, really cool how it does it and leaves no sharp edges. I have tried a couple of other makes before and this one is by far the best, highly recommended.

This works great. It’s a bit loud but I feel that’s minor compared with the hands free nature of this product. If you have poor grip or pain in your hands this is awesome. No sharp edges either.

I just recently bought this can opener and I really loved it. It’s convenient, hassle free and not complicated to use you just simply push the button and let it do its magic. I am really satisfied and would recommend this to my friends and family

I bought this for my mother, who has some problems with arthritis, and when we gathered around to see if it worked, we were all pretty impressed. It left the edge of the can crimped in a way that avoids those sharp edges, which I personally have been sliced by several times.
At first it didn’t seem like it was woeking, but then we lifted it and boom! Open can. I might get one for myself, honestly.

I bought this for a special needs friend who only has 1 arm/hand available. He loves it. Can easily open cans because it works all by itself with the touch of a button. Cuts around the side of the can so no troubles trying to get the cut lid out of the can which also takes 2 hands. Had it for 4 weeks thus far. This quality unit has restored his ability to do what he loves and that it cook! I am going to get one for myself!

During my lifetime I’ve used dozens of different types of can opener but this one is the very best. It is amazingly easy to use and works so quickly. If you’ve never used a battery operated before then try this can opener before then this one and see how effortlessly it opens your cans!

I was initially pleased with the product as it seemed to work well. Just a few moments ago we discovered that it was leaving dangerous metal shards on the edges of the cans. They can easily fall into food. Would not recommend.

I was so excited to get this can opener and I immediately put the batteries in and laid it on the table. 5 minutes later, my daughter thought she smelled something and I thought it was just the cat leaving us a present in her litter box. 10 minutes later, I smelled it too. My daughter picked up the can opener and dropped it as it was hot to the touch! I grabbed it and the batteries were fire hot! It wasnt even on! I used a tool to get the batteries out as they were melting before my eyes… normally, I would have put it in a drawer after I put the batteries in. For some reason, i left it on the table and thank goodness i did! Buyer beware!

I can open most tin cans but sometimes struggle a bit with thicker tin types or stiffer ring pull type cans. Typed can openers into You Tube and a video for this one popped up (the red and white one) so bought it on the strength of that and the positive reviews on Amazon. It really does work and is worth the money. Make sure you align it correctly in the gap between the cutter wheel and the gadget, the magnet helps guide you in. Press the button, take your finger off the button while it does its work and watch out for the point where it starts to cut and press the button again to stop it when it comes round to that point again. For ring pull cans, tip the can upside down so the ring pull is on the bottom and remove the top. Also once it goes around it looks like it hasn’t cut, but it has. Don’t worry if you don’t get it first time as you’ll definitely get the knack, and when you do it’s great to use, taking the hassle out of opening thicker, stiffer cans. Would highly recommend if you have any arm or hand injuries, or like my Mum in her eighties, she doesn’t have the same strength anymore so it’s a great confidence boost for her and a really useful gadget for me, and would recommend for sure!

Very disappointed: bought this item for my 86 year old sister who has arthritis and has difficulty using an ordinary opener or the ring-pulls. Placed it on the can as per instructions and the thing went feral! The back lifted up and it continued to whirr away without stopping, making a mess of the can. Had to wrench it off and take the batteries out before it stopped. Sent it back!
