I had my doubts about the warmth of the bag when I saw how thin the insulation was. So the first night I used a liner because the temp was in the teens. I woke in a pool of sweat. The next night the temps were the same and I didn’t use the liner but slept in my clothes. I still had sweat a lot but not as much. The next night I put my clothes in the bottom of the sleeping bag to keep them warm. The foot of the bag has plenty of room for this and your feet too. I slept very comfortable and was able to side and back sleep without issue. Getting dressed in the morning was uncomfortable but my sleep was perfect. I’m 6’and 260 with broad shoulders. It fit me like it was made for me. If you aren’t used to sleeping in a mummy bag it might seem too constricting but I was able to switch positions comfortably inside the bag. My previous bag would move with me and I expected this one to do the same but it didn’t. It packs small with a good compression bag. It comes with one but I had a better one already. Fits in my backpack just fine. It doesn’t have pockets but I’ve never found the need for one. The zipper works well and didn’t snag on me once. However I took care when zipping when I did. I highly recommend this hybrid bag and while I didn’t sleep in zero temps I think it would do fine if used properly.
