I found this while looking for gifts for man in construction. I received it just like in the video. No packaging at all, just a plastic bag. the logo that you see in the photo is nowhere to be seen in the actual product. No box, no paper, no brand. Just a bar code that says made in China. It looks poorly made. If you’re planning on buying this as a gift it’ll come across somethign worth 5$. Really disappointed.

This would be an OK tool for me if it fit my wrist, which has a 5.5″ circumference. Yeah, that’s probably on the small side for a man, not so much for a woman. For this wristband to be useful I have to add a 1/4 foam wrap to make it snug enough not to slide up or, worse, rotate around my wrist. If your wrist measures less than a 9.25″ circumference, you’ll have the same problem. Advice to RAK, as has been mentioned in other reviews: offer a smaller size.
The construction and fabric is good and durable. Each of its 5 magnetized bands contains a pair of thin .5″ magnetic discs. Their holding power is just OK. My experience was that driver bits and screws are dislodged a little too easily while working, like if the wristband brushes a surface or your clothing. Despite the assurances and pictures of having a powerful grip, in practice the holding power falls a bit short.

Bought this as a present for my partner bc he always needs me to hand him screws and nails when he’s working on a project. Turns out, he enjoys my company and it’s just fun to work together so I ended up being the one wearing the bracelet. But it’s perfect! I line up all the fasteners he needs on my own wrist and can easily hand them to him or just place them on the end of his drill bit as He’s leaning precariously from a roof, ladder, etc… I don’t know why this isn’t part of every toolbox. It’s such a simple, easy, inexpensive solution. We are spending much less time searching for tiny screws that fall and that gives us more time for screwing. Things together. What did you THINK I meant?!

I actually went the more expensive route and paid eight dollars more for this expecting it to be a better product.
WRONG.
It came in a tiny box and is no different from the one I could have gotten for half the price.
Don’t be deceived by the picture because that’s not the product that is shipped to you.
DON’T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!
I’ll probably be returning this — thanks bunches, RAK.

While this definitely makes home reno involving screws and nail much easier, the magnets seem too weaken as more screws are put per panel, but perhaps I’m just not placing them correctly. I was hoping I could dip this into a bin of screws and come out prepared for a job, but that’s not the case here. It still helps out on the job more than my cat does.

Held all my screw & bits, was installing some oudoor patio speakers today using a ladder. This wristband held 6 acrews and about 5 different screw bits and over 5 coaxial staples at the same time. Exactly what I bought it for. It held my wire cutter but the vibration from my drill made it fall off after a while, this is not for other tools like that but it is def worth it. all the other stuff stayed on while I used my drill. Was impressed that the coaxial staples stayed on because it more plastic with small nail in each. Anyone whoe does not give this good review either has unrealistic expectations or don’t know what they are doing. This is not to hold large screwdrivers, hammers and cutters, though I am pretty confident it will hold small screwdrivers. I was using a metal ladder so my hand kept getting pull towards it, so I know the magnets are good, pics demonstrate what I had on it today

It was smaller and less bulky then I expected and fit comfortably on my wrist. I have a much cheaper one from a different manufacturer which is much bulkier and poorer construction. This new one is much nicer, and was quite pleased putting it on. Having the ability to wear it comfortably on my wrist without any bulk is really handy when assembling or unassempling something. Just drop the screw on my wrist and keep going. That said, there is room for improvement, hence the 4/5 stars. The magnets only go halfway around your wrist, would prefer 3/4, and they are not as strong as I would like. I have not open it up, but believe it’s made with the standard quality magnets as opposed to stronger neodymium magnets which would be really nice. Expect that would inflate the price by at least half, but I’d be willing to pay extra for the extra holding power, not that the holding power of this one isn’t sufficient. It really is like an extra hand to hold your screws. Ever asked someone to hold some screws while your putting in a light fixture or something, now you don’t need them. Drop the srews on your wrist, grab your screwdriver and the fixture and up the ladder you go. Very handy.
Edit – on closer inspection after several uses I believe it does use neodymium magnets but only two small ones per strip. They are very small (bit bigger then tie stay magnets) and while quite powerful don’t have enough surface area for optimal use in my opinion. An extra two or there would be optimal.

comments are their own matrix lol. sucks filtering through the ‘robot comments’ and the people who just like complaining. just got this and the magnets are strong, velcro is pretty sturdy. only complaint is myself felt pretty loose cause i have small forearms. yes you can adjust it to get tighter but it should be an easier way to do that if we’re being picky, overall good product.

I love it, it’s a gift for my grandson so I can’t really give a review, he is starting out as a mechanic and this I know will help when he’s under the car .

Works great; the magnetism isn’t so strong that you have to rip & pry things off of it.
Be aware, though, that any bits or bit-holders that have certain kinds of metal (such as bit extenders with stainless steel amalgams that include nickel) will NOT be as magnetic — sometimes barely adhering to the wrist band. My DeWalt 6″ drive guide with stainless steel sheath doesn’t really attach (or stay). Find and use bits that will stick, so others won’t be walking up to you saying, “I found this on the ground; is it yours?”
It’s definitely an easier way to hold bits that are frequently changed, in situations like cabinet hardware installs, or cabinet installs. More convenient than an elastic band device or the clamp rails on a screwgun or other tool.

I’m in construction. Losing or constantly searching for bits in my bag is annoying. I use a button style holder clipped to my bag that helps, but I wanted to find a wristband that works. I had bought a magnetic wristband a couple years ago (Kusonky, 15 magnets). Didn’t use it much until recently. Liked the idea, except the magnets didn’t seem to keep ahold of the bits as well when I used my banded hand to tap a board in place. Kept losing bits. I just bought another (Topfort) that touted 20 strong magnets, and it was cheaper than Rak. Tested it against the other for holding power with a rudimentary pull test. Kusonky still was stronger. I gave up and bought the Rak. Same pull test. Rak (10 magnets) was the strongest pull of the three. I also have smaller wrists, but fits fine. Will be field testing it this week. I’m pleased to reiterate that more isn’t always better, it’s the quality of the magnets that makes the biggest difference, and the time I’ve wasted looking for a less expensive alternative is wayyy more costly than the price difference of the Rak vs the other brands I’ve tried.

I didn’t even know a product like this existed until my daughter mentioned she got one for a gift for her brother who does wood working. I had to try it and I’m so glad I did!
I do a lot of repairs to wooden portable storage containers and this is a big time saver!
I use it when having to remove a lot of screws from something so my hand stays free, I just lay them on the band and they stay put. When I need screws to work on a portion I just grab some, again just lay it on the band and get to work.
4 stars on durability because I’ve only had it about a month so I can’t say how long it’ll last. I really like using it at work, for the cost, if I need another one in a year I won’t be upset.
It does get a little sweaty underneath but that can’t be helped, if you’re working hard you’re gonna sweat, I just move it a little up or down my arm and it’s fine.
I’ll be buying these as gifts, who doesn’t want to make life easier right?!
