I’d been wanting a blower to clear my 18’x20′ wood deck and larger concrete patio, and while I didn’t want the noise and inconvenience of a gas powered one I was dubious that an electric (especially cordless) would produce enough airflow to dislodge the pine cones, needles, leaves, and other debris that comes from living on the edge of a forest. Having been happy with other Greenworks products I thought I’d at least give this a try and just send it back if it wasn’t powerful enough. No need!
What used to take 20 minutes with a broom is now a one minute job. Not only does it easily blow the deck and patio clean, I can pretty much stand in place to do it. The concentration, speed, and airflow volume are pretty amazing and compare favorably with gas units I’ve had. Plus it’s lightweight, clean, and quiet. I can store it in the house so it’s always handy and as an added bonus the battery is interchangeable with my hedge clippers, mower, and edger. So far I’m 100% satisfied with it.

I was a little worried after ordering this blower due to some reviewers indicating it didn’t have enough power. I have now used it for about a couple of months and I’m extremely satisfied. It has plenty of power to blow grass clippings and road debris from my driveway, gutters, and concrete patio (see attached video). With the battery fully charged, the blower lasts between 18 to 20 minutes, which is plenty of time to me to do the clean up after mowing. Highly recommended!

I’m at the point where it has been very difficult to start my old faithful gas blower (—an old age thing). Leaves are a rather big deal, both at the front and the back of the house, Sissu trees always shedding leaves! That is exactly why I am so pleased with the GreenWorks! Instantly fires off, no cord pulling, no gas, no plugs! So far may experience has been that it does just as good blowing with so much less hassle
When it first arrived I placed the battery in the charger until it was full, then locked it into the blower, pulled the trigger and nothing happened. For sure, I was going to return it, my sweet wife had to do her thing and bravo it was screaming. I was not pulling the trigger all the way down to get it fire off! Does a great job and am very pleased with this purchase!

I’ve been using a corded WORX WG520 all around my property which has greater power than my previous gas blower and for the heavy blowing chores it rocks. Really into electric as solar power is very prevalent here in Hawaii and we take advantage of it. However, bringing out and unwinding and rewinding a 100 ft electrical cord every time to do a light blowing of the leaves/debris/dust off the upper deck and driveway (lots of trees in Hawaii where its seems like fall season is happening all year round) was getting tiresome. For these light duties, this Greenworks BA40L210 40V MPH-430 was perfect. I can go at least full power for 20 minutes on this li-ion battery power which is all I require as I only need 10-15 minutes to do the daily light duty blowing. The fact that I spent 10 minutes alone just winding and unwinding and plugging in the 100 ft. electrical cord for the WORX makes it a no brainer. It shares the same batteries with my Greenworks 40V pole chainsaw and pole hedge trimmer. Great tool for the quick daily tidy-up. Very light weight and brush-less motor makes power and run time more than adequate. For the bigger jobs I still use the corded WORX but for convenience, the Greenworks battery powered blower is perfect as the fill-in for the rest of the chores.

This review is for the JET Blower with battery and charger.I bought this package on Amazon in November of 2017 in a flash deal for about half of what it is selling for now,so I feel blessed to have gotten it for about 65 bucks. When I first received it,I installed the battery and it worked but I was disappointed at the lack of power. What I didn’t realize is that the battery didn’t have much juice initially so after a good charging the result was quite different,in a good way. This bad little boy rocks. It emits a high pitched whine(kind of like a jet turbine) and sounds weak but man can it throw out some wind.I can do both me and my neighbors front walks and driveways, which is a pretty big deal due to all the leaves that are constantly falling from the many trees nearby.I’m guesstimating that I’ve been getting around 25 minutes use from a full charge. It is lightweight and has some nice features like a comfortable grip and a switch that lets you run it without having to press the trigger all of the time.Kind of a cruise control. But what I REALLY like about it is the control of the airflow. After a few uses I learned that the trigger is very sensitive and that by smoothly moving my finger I can control the airspeed in a very precise manner. This is a really sweet feature when using around plants, shrubbery and places where there are alot of objects, like my back porch.I’ve never been able to do this with my other blowers and I like this feature very much. After a little practice I can blow just a leaf or two,or some small object without disturbing everything around it.Nice going Greenworks! The battery has 4 round lights that show how much juice is remaining in it.Recharge time is reasonable,I haven’t timed it but it usually takes about a half hour or so to fully recharge it after completely depleting it.While it’s charging(and at all times) you can push the button on the battery to see how much the battery is charged.I’ve gotten busy and left the battery in the charger for an hour or so a few times and from what I’ve read I shouldn’t do that so I’m going to try and monitor the charging process more closely in the future.I’ve had this blower for some months now and I am super happy with it.I do have my corded Toro(another great blower) for big jobs but this little Greenworks blower is perfect for times when I don’t want to haul the big boy out,and really,it does just about as well as the corded Toro and can even blow wet leaves if they aren’t too thickly stacked.I would buy this blower again in a heartbeat and plan to do so when this one gives out, which I hope is far into the future.I’ll post any updates if needed, but as of right now I’m very pleased with the quality, value and performance of this model.
