This is such a small light yet in the dark, it’s extremely powerful and enables you to take pictures that would have been impossible (or destroyed by noise in high ISO). I wouldn’t expect it to do much in a well lit room and I can’t attest to its battery life, but it’s so small yet bright in the dark! If you keep your expectations realistic, considering its size, it is surprisingly fun and capable.

This little Neewer RGB light is perfect for my mobile production kit. It’s bright enough at full intensity to do a great job as an edge light in a bright location, color accent on a set, or as a ENG-style camera-mounted light for on-the-go interviews.
The only downside I’ve found is that its color temperature readout doesn’t match other RGB lights I have. What I mean by this is if I set this and my other light to 5500°K, this little one is a little more orange in color to the eye—like it’s closer to 5300°K, but a couple hundred degrees is easy to either live with or to manually adjust for. And honestly, since I don’t have a color temp meter, I don’t know if this is off, or my other lights are off. It’s a pretty minor flaw in an otherwise extremely cool, very reasonably priced light.

It is bright, it is RGB, it is adjustable from cool to warm lighting. The battery is rechargeable using USB-C, and the batter life is outstanding. What more can I say? It is everything I could ask for at an incredible price. Aperture and others have some similar products, but not at this price point. I slide this into a cold-shoe mount on my SmallRig cages and I am ready to go. These lights are a critical product in my run-and-gun kit.

I have had this light for around 3 month now and taken it with me on my camping trips, I’ve also started using it when I’m fishing, it’s fantastic, the battery’s last a long time if just kept low but for photography it’s perfect, being able to adjust the lights power on video shoots is a bonus, I would recommend this light

Flexible capable movie light. Removable diffusor works really well. These days there are so many different colour temperature bulbs around it can look weird if you introduce yet another light colour into the mix,. The colour adjustment on this light is very simple and effective, so you can blend in with what’s ambient, and adjust or compensate colour temperature as appropriate. Two batteries on the back (included!! Bonus!! And a charger!) give long long work sessions … it works with 1 or two batterries. Also has 12V power plug.
