I used this for lighting to take some high resolution photos of some art work. They were simple enough for a dunderhead like me to assemble, and they are very versatile as they don’t require plug in to electrical source. I am planning to order another set, just for a little extra light but great value for the price. I’m actually using one of them as a handy lamp when I’m drawing in the recliner. Very satisfied!

Really happy with my purchase. For the price, I think these are a steal since you get the tripods and the lights. The great thing about the lights are that they are battery powered (battery is built-in and rechargeable using the AC adapter the comes with the kit). Best part is that the lights will work when AC adapter is plugged in. I love the bicolor and the range of brightness. Really happy with the purchase.

The Neewer LED Light Panel set consists of two light panels, two tripod light stands and a zipper case to store them. The exact model number of the Neewer LED Light Panel is NL-192AI. The output of each LED light panel is 195 watts and 650 Lux/1m. The warm-to-cool temperature range is between 3200 to 5600 Kelvins. Each LED light panel has a color rendering index of greater than 95.
I’ve been using the Neewer LED Light Panel set for a while now and they are terrific. Because the LED light panels run on internal rechargeable batteries, the lights are mobile without the need to tether an electrical cord to them. This is most convenient, especially in situations when electrical outlets are few.
I utilize a green screen to record my video projects. The purpose for the Neewer LED Light Panel set is to eliminate the shadow that my subject casts against the green screen. It takes practice to properly adjust the height and angle of the light panels. Not only that, but it also takes a keen eye to notice whether the color temperature needs adjustment. In most of my lighting situations, I would leave the color temperature at the highest (cool) range of 5600K. However, in very few occurrences would I set the temperature range to the lower range.
I am fortunate to use natural lighting to illuminate my subject, but I am limited to the time of day and I rely on the position of the sun to act as the key light when recording at home. Someday, I would like to purchase another set of LED panel lights to use exclusively as key lighting.
If you need a set of LED panel lights with higher illumination, you need to step up to the next level. However, you would also need to purchase separately a set of proprietary rechargeable batteries and a charger for them in order to use those LED panel lights on-the-go. Though you can use the higher-powered LED panel lights while plugged into an electric socket, it might be an inconvenience and a potential hazard of having electrical cords laying on the floor during a video shoot.
The portability of the Neewer NL-192AI LED Light Panel set is what sold me into buying them. I would highly recommend this set of LED panel lights for those on a budget.

This kit of 2 lights is really great. it allows to control the brightness with several different hue and intensity. the quality of the LEDs is perfect. The light Stand are easy to adjust to the height you need. this kit also comes with a case that fits everything perfectly and will be ready for the go when needed. These lights are stunning. From portability, to power, to ease of use and functional tools. Amazing settings for both photography and videography. I’m stunned and extremely happy with them. What I also love about those that they come with a build in Battery which is amazing for the size and the weight if you are on the move. One more thing I have to mention that the small connecter between the light head and te stand is very good as it locks in place very well and gives you the freedom to move tilt the head. I recommend this product for its quality and also for its ease of use and portability.

I did like the lights; however, one broke within two months of purchase and now I am left with only one left. I cant get a new one as the window has closed. I would recommend something else.

Since Neewer is a popular and trusted brand, if you’re looking for photo lights that won’t set your house on fire; these are a great option for that. They are also very good beginner lights. I’m an amateur photographer and indoors I mostly take product shots, but I often take nicer shots for Instagram or my own personal projects.
For a beginner, these lights offer everything you need. They have colour tone (warm or cool) and brightness and the panels are big enough to give a good coverage of light. . I both like and dislike the fact that it’s dials to adjust the lighting. It’s simple and remembers your setting, but it does feel a little cheaper and can be easy to accidentally knock out of place. Setup is really simple and the tripods can be stretched surprisingly high, so they would also work with portrait photography.
On top of that, the fact that they are chargeable makes them very versatile and portable and they even provide a bag for that (albeit a soft, canvas one). I personally keep them plugged in, but the option is there and I will probably eventually just keep the cords pinned up nearby for when the battery gets low
You’re mostly paying for the quality here and the fact that this brand is popular with photographers pretty much guarantees that level of safety and quality. Overall, this is a simple, trusted lighting set for beginners and a good piece of starter kit overall.

Decent lighting is important for any video or still shoot, but finding cost-efficient lighting systems that do no compromise too much in the way of features or performance is difficult. While I have my multiple big studio lights fixed in place, my portable solution for the last six months has been these Neewer LED panels. In the package you get two complete light setups, including the stand, 13-inch panel, power cords, plus a bag that can carry it all quite conveniently.
The two LED panels have two separate banks of lights, one set of 96 cool white LEDs and one set of 96 warm yellow LEDs. You can continuously vary the output of each bank from 0% to 100% to achieve the colour balance and intensity you want for your shoot. The panels are thin (about a centimeter), light (580 grams), and robust enough to take on the banging and flexing involved in carrying the panels and stands around and setting them up and dismantling them several times a day. The panels have a battery on the back that will provide light for about 90 minutes when fully charged, depending on the intensity of the panels. Or, they can be run from the chargers without issue. The stands are variable height and can reach to 180 centimeters. They are quite light.
As a portable, two-light video or static photography setup, I like this Neewer setup. I can set up a keylight and a backlight setup for video in about five minutes, and the light balance lets me dial in just the right colour balance for the target media (softer for YouTube, for example). I like the way the panels can be angled so many ways to achieve just the right effect. What’s most impressive to me is what you get for the money. This is a well-priced set that doesn’t compromise quality or features.

I’m really happy with my upgrade to these over my old CFL bulbs in a light box. I’m no longer worried about breaking bulbs. I also no longer have to worry about tripping over cords, as these are wireless. While I usually end up somewhere in the middle of the color scale, it’s nice to have to options on either end. Battery life has exceeded my expectations.
It comes in a case, and the entire setup is very light, making it easy to transport. This is now my go to light setup when we are doing remote product photos and videos. It’s a huge advantage to not have to find a place to plug them in.

I’ve really enjoyed using this lighting rig for remote video calls. Easy to transport, set up and break down. Even easier to control light temperature and brightness. Highly recommended.
