This light works flawlessly, And was very easy to install. I didn’t even use the screws I just used the siding clamp that comes with it for the no drill installation method and wow it was super simple to do, I just popped it in my siding where I wanted to position it at and then attached the floodlight to it with my camera attached the the front of the floodlight. That’s it. It is very bright and accurate whith turning on as soon as someone or something walks by it or in front of it.. It’s so bright that it records the video at night in color instead of night vision.. This light rocks!!

I wanted an outdoor camera that was from a reputable company but didn’t want to pay $300.00 so when I came across this one it was a no brainer, Untill I started reading the reviews. Most of them were negative and I kept reading that the “system” won’t work unless you have this product or a WiFi booster. So for some reason it turned me away I thought the price was to good to be true and with all those negative reviews it wasn’t worth it. After scrolling through hundreds of different security cameras I finally came back to this one and gave it a shot. Packaging is nice! So basically it’s a blink camera that’s is powered by the light system(uses 4 D batteries) you just plug the camera into it and download the blink app, and the plug in the transmitter. It is very simple to set up and simple to use. The wall mount is also very simple to install!! Buy it you won’t regret it!!!

Terrible product. It is difficult to connect to camera. The blink camera and app would not recognize the flood mount accessory. Misleading. It appears not to be compatible with prior XT2 . You must purcase an NEW outdoor camera. Marketing gimmick.

I Am returning can’t get pass trying to hook up to wifi will not connect and ug keeps coming out of camera they need better dire tions on how to hook up

This mount is NOT compatible with the XT, XT2 or any of those older generation cameras. Install was easy, though i recommend a cordless drill if you have one. You have the ability to turn the light on and off on demand and of course you can control the duration of lighting when the camera’s sensor triggers it. It’s 700 Lumens, which is plenty light between the two strobes. I have no complaints. The negative reviews are from those who’ve mistakenly purchased the setup without making sure the camera model they have actually works with the setup. If in doubt, you may just want to get the camera and floodlight kit. Good luck.

Support promptly reached out to me to address my issue. They assisted me with obtaining the correct camera I needed that was compatible with the floodlight.
The main reason I chose this was the cost is cheaper than the Ring floodlight which also requires an annual subscription just to watch any video recordings. The Blink comes with free cloud storage (limited storage size) which is large enough to keep several videos.
The new “outdoor” model camera was very simple to add to the old sync 1 base station module, just scan the qr code on the back of the camera and the sync module finds the camera and updates the firmware.
I also installed the new sync 2 base station, was easy to setup and connect to home wifi (2.4GHz only unfortunately) Was easy to setup and easy to connect the blink camera to this base station.
As soon as the floodlight was plugged into the camera it was instantly detected on the phone blink app & has individual features you can edit in addition to the individual camera features. I do like the ability to be able to turn on the flood light at any point in time through the app as well as adjust the brightness.
The mount is extremely easy to install on the house & the flood light slide right onto the mount. The micro usb plug from the floodlight to the back of the camera is slightly difficult to fit the rubber plug in, I found it easier to install the weather proofing plug while I had the backplate off the camera to ensure it was fully sealed in place.
I have other motion lights mounted near this light on my garage that are always on & that did not affect the light sensor on this floodlight.

This floodlight will ONLY work with the absolute newest model of Blink “outdoor” camera, does not work with XT nor XT2. Everything on the website, box, instruction manual simply states the outdoor camera is “sold separately”.
You might as well sell this product with the newest version of Blink camera since it will only work on that model. Poor Marketing to not state anywhere saying this product will not work with ANY previous model of blink camera.
You could easily program your Blink camera phone app where the app recognizes the floodlight plugged into any model of camera, instead you just hope your customers will simply go buy a new Amazon Blink camera.
Promptly returned to Amazon.
